One of my fave cupcake places in STL! Their buttercream is amazing and they have such fun varieties and flavors! I look forward to when I am in the CWE and can stop by. While the weather was overcast, there are cute tables inside to sit and relax as well as a small outside patio for better weather days. They have expanded to some items beyond cupcakes so you can find lots of sweet options!

Small restaurant, awesome smells, and clean environment. Cashier was super sweet, I grabbed a cupcake to share. Cupcake was nice, satisfying our sweet tooth for a reasonable price. The icing was a little firm, cake was moist.

Raspberry Beret, yum! Seasonal favorite. I just missed the champagne cupcake for NYE.

Update - after many years, the cup is solidly still my favorite cupcake in STL! In fact, they made my wedding cake and wedding cupcakes (see pics). Over the years, they're consistently fresh and delicious. I can't think of a time I had a bad cupcake. The cup still reigns supreme!

Mmmm! Soooo good! After visiting their sister bakery, the Cakery, I decided I wanted to give this place a try. I walked in and was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help. I told them I was there to pick up a catering order of cupcakes, one cake, their double-decker cookies and two gluten free cupcakes. The person behind the counter went and retrieved my items and verified all amounts and specifics of the order were correct. After verifying everything, I was on my way. I served them at work the next day and they were a hit. Like most sweets, they didn't last past lunch (which is a good thing) and I got enough for people to try a variety. Overall, I was incredibly pleased with the service and quality of the items. My only piece of constructive criticism is offering more of a variety when it comes to their smaller sized cupcakes. While what they offer is good, it's essentially only 4 flavors, which doesn't encompass everything they have to offer. Additionally, I didn't realize the two gluten free cupcakes I got weren't the same size as the others but were instead, the largest! After now trying both places, I'd say they're unique in their own way. IMO, The Cakery focuses on more cakes and other goodies while the cup is focused on more cupcakes. Either way, you won't be disappointed no matter where you go!

Probably my favorite place to get a sweet treat in STL! The most delicious cupcakes, that are so soft and stay fresh for a couple days! My personal favorites are the strawberries and cream and red velvet but they have so many great flavors including rotating seasonal ones that you really can't go wrong. I used one of their cakes for a party and everyone loved it. They also have some gluten free choices that I have bought many times for my allergy friends and they have really enjoyed them. It is a decent sized cupcake, so the prices are pretty fair. I cannot recommend this place it enough, everyone can find a flavor they will love!

Hey there! As a proud local from St. Louis, I just have to say that the Cup has always been a delightful spot for me. Seriously, I've tried every cupcake they offer, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad one! I recently made my way back home from Miami and, of course, I had to stop by. You can find their cupcakes at Straubs, but nothing beats visiting the store to explore all the different flavors and admire how gorgeous they look! The café itself is super cute and cozy, and the staff are always so friendly and patient while you decide what to get. It's tough to choose because everything is just so good! My go-to favorites are the Strawberry, Gold Rush, Confetti, and Tuxedo. But really, you can't go wrong with any of them--trust me, I'm definitely not a size 2 or 6! Oh, and they even have treats for our furry friends!

Just stopped in for something sweet before running a quick errand. The gentleman at the counter was kind and patient. And I decided on the raspberry cupcake and it was delicious. I went into the Lululemon next door with the cupcake and it seems like the entire staff was raving about them when they saw my treat, so I was so excited to partake and as mentioned above I was not disappointed!

The Cup never disappoints! I've been getting my birthday cakes here for years because they are simply the best. They even have birthday candles available when you pick up your cake! I can't even begin to describe the richness, freshness, and moistness of all their products. You just have to try it for yourself! They also serve lots of fun flavors, with both classic and rotating options. Confetti is my absolute favorite classic flavor, and Cookie Dough is my go-to seasonal flavor. Additionally, The Cup makes cupcakes that are safe for dogs, which my labradoodle absolutely loves. The employees are always very friendly, and I especially appreciate how patient they are with me when I'm feeling indecisive about my tough decisions! The interior of the restaurant has seating options available if you're wanting to enjoy your cupcake right away, or they are nicely boxed up if you're taking it for the road. I will always love this place!

Always a reliable place to pick up cupcakes. Service is generally quick, though it's essentially just a place to grab and go rather than to hang out and stuff your face. They have a cupcake calendar on their website, but when it's December, you can never go wrong with their Gingerbread cupcakes. They also have a Cardinals one during the summer which is pretty good. The price is about what you'd expect from a place that just serves cupcakes. I went for all limited edition cupcakes, so 4 ran me about $18. But I think it's worth it for a special occasion.

This has been one of my favorite sweet treat stops in St.Louis for a while. The Peanut Butter Cup is always my go to. The chocolate cake is moist and the peanut butter icing is the perfect complement. There are classic cupcakes always available for purchase. As well as a few select speciality flavors rotating. Check their website for the cupcake calendar to find out the flavors each week.

The Cup is a regular spot for us. They did our wedding desserts and will always be a household favorite. We ordered their strawberry 9" inch cake and an assortment of cupcakes for a birthday celebration this past weekend. The strawberry was a new flavor for us and did not disappoint. The only hiccup was on my order form I didn't state what color to write the message with. I was a little surprised to see bright green, but my sister loved it.

I went here back in October and it was a welcoming spot. I actually didn't even know it was in the area because it's tucked away in a little alley. The cupcake was very good. The frosting is really what made it for me I think. It was very good and the right amount to where even though it was rich, I didn't feel sick afterward. The cake part itself seemed a little dry to me though. I'm not sure if it was just sitting out a while or if maybe thats the way they typically are since they are on the cakier side. They also have tons of fun flavors including a fair amount of seasonal options.

Not chopped/sliced or anything. UPDATE: I go back on Nov. 12, 2021 paid cash (@2:58) and was told 15 mins waited 20 mins just to find out my order wasn't placed at all AGAIN & I had to wait because they don't do refunds. I love to give black owned businesses a chance but more than likely I am always met with disappointment. You have to pay for your order over the phone, so naturally you would expect your food to be ready when you get there. That's not the case. Not only is it not prepared, there is only one line to be serviced at so you have to wait behind people who haven't placed an order. When I arrived the line was to the door. No one was at the register for about 3mins, okay their busy. Get to the counter we have to wait an addtl 8mins for food. Okay their busy. I pay for a banana pudding that is priced online for 5$ I am charged 7$ didn't notice til I looked at my receipt on the way home. The prices need to be updated on all platforms!!! We finally get our food the "Saturday Special" it comes with a burger, cheese fries & 5 party wings. 1st thing I notice is that we don't have cheese on our fries. Goes back up to the register. She says "we're out of cheese" and that was it. She didn't offer to take the money off, a complementary item, nothing. I asked for a receipt. Come to find out adding sauce to your wings is an addt 1.50$ that we weren't made aware of. I had about 10 French fries on my plate. My burger was burnt and barely fit the size of my bun. I had a half slice of tomatoe and a slither of lettuce. We spent almost 100$ on maybe 30$ worth of food. My cousin was so displeased with the service she sold her plate to a man in the line that couldn't get food because they were" sold out" of everything an hour before they closed. They had no signage posted. Nothing posted on their instagram to informs customers ahead of time. I called today to see if they would reconcile the situation. After voicing all my concerns the manager asked me what she could do to which I replied , I'll take a refund or they can remake the food. She sounds like she was going to offer a refund but had to check with the owner because again we spent close to 100$ . She came back to the phone to say that they could remake the food next Saturday b/c they only have that special on that day and she would pin my receipt to make sure everyone was aware. In hindsight I would've preferred to have my money back b/c who's to say the same thing won't happen next week or worse after me leaving this review. I doubt I'll return. But this is a lesson learned. Also her excuse for everything is that they were short staffed lol, this crap is laughable at this point .

The moment you step into Diana's, you're wrapped in the warm, sweet aroma of a traditional panadería -- fresh breads, sugar-topped pastries, and that unmistakable feeling that everything here is made con amor. The pastry cases are a celebration of color and flavor -- pillowy conchas, golden empanadas, trays of vibrant pan dulce, and fresh breads like bolillos and telera rolls that practically beg to come home with you. Every bite feels authentic, comforting, and joyful -- the kind of baking that carries tradition in every crumb. The conchas are especially spectacular -- soft, lightly sweet, with that perfect sugary shell. Pair one with a cup of coffee and suddenly the whole morning feels like a little fiesta. I especially love popping in and picking up fresh bread for Sunday brunch. There's something about bringing home warm bolillos or sweet pastries that instantly turns brunch into a celebration. Pretty good overall. Cheesecake - not my favorite. Tasted good and the texture was perfect but not cream cheese-y enough for my liking. The chocolate version might be better.
