(11730 Baptist Church Rd Saint Louis, MO 63128) To say I have never experienced something so irrational and with lack of empathy is an understatement. First let me start by saying I brought in my twins, toddlers, at nap time after pulling them out of camp. They had a horrible day and I was trying to turn it around. The lady that first helped us blonde, was kind she got the kids a few samples.. the kids were so irate and tiered and just really hard to get to make decisions. It was rough and after about 5 minutes my son said he really just wanted a cone. We were trying to figure out sprinkles and which one they each preferred. It was crazy how long it took but I channeled Jesus. And then when one had made a choice I decided to get my daughter what she wanted while my son still had a meltdown. I then told the lady I wanted a cotton candy icecream with the mixed pink sprinkle cone. And she goes very coldly "you can't have that one, that's not how it works" we went back and forth as she explained the two to the left of it had to be sold first. There was only one rainbow one, it was in the front. So again I said, this one is in front it is first. I told her "I've really had to deal with a lot with them deciding what they want, can you just work with me?" She was insanely rude to the point I just wanted my kid to have what she decided on. I reached to grab it and said I just want to buy this can we make that happen? And she then said "don't you dare reach your hands back here (it was on top of the case mind you) now I'm ringing you up for that cone and you're paying for it and I'm not serving you" I then raised my eyebrows channeled some more Jesus.. and took a deep breath: I went to the register and set it down. And then said "actually we are leaving" she said some crass comments and I said to her "you obviously don't have kids" she then yelled at me some more.. I took a deep breath and said "I forgive you" This is the last time we will ever set foot in a Baskin- Robbin's. I hope that young lady gets some healing, I hope she had a good therapy session today with me and my kids taking out her life issues on us. And you know what happened to the cone I wanted to buy? She threw it angrily into the trash can instead of me buying it, oh yes she won for sure...we went across the plaza to cold stone and had an incredible service with a lady with 5 daughters who before I even asked for a second cup, split the ice cream for my kids.(cold stone photo receipt of happy kids) UPDATE: the owner contacted me and explained her employee had 7 miscarriages. While I do feel bad for her, I myself have had a miscarriage, and I struggled for a year with even being around other kids.. I don't think her taking it out on me was fair. I suggest anyone with kids go to cold stone. We get weekly ice cream after soccer games and will never be back to baskin-robbins. The lack of accountability from the employee and the owner was really disappointing. I think it's really odd to give people an option.. and then not let them pick it. Why have different option cones if you can't pick the one you want? What a trivial and insane response. read more

I still like Baskin Robbins for their real ice cream. No custard or frozen yogurt just regular ice cream. They have wonderful flavors. Among my favs are jamocha almond fudge and chocolate fudge. Yep- I like fudge, and chocolate and coffee! This location needs a facelift. The floor is pretty worn and the tables and chairs are starting to fall apart. Also, it would be nice to have some outdoor seating in front of the place like benches. In general, the workers are pretty efficient. The prices can be a bit high but they always run coupons. I haven't tried any of the fancy ice cream places that have opened in St. Louis but the good old fashioned flavors of Baskin Robbins suit me just fine! read more

This place is sort of a hole in the wall shop in a hole in the wall strip mall. The ice cream is standard BR, served up by high schoolers and first time employees. Customer service is okay - it's about what you would expect from a work force on a learning curve - bless their hearts (you with Southern roots will understand that phrase). The ice cream keeps me coming back, when I'm a hankerin' for Baskin Robbins...but that's about it. I buy it and get out as fast as I can. read more

Trust me. You do NOT want to go to this Baskin-Robbins location! Save your $$$$. The service is horrible!! I've never given a one star review to anything, but believe me this Baskin-Robbins earned it. My son ordered a freeze and asked that it be made with Sprite and sherbert. He was told that freezes can NOT be made with Sprite, despite the fact that he has had the same product at the same store for the past 10 + years. He was told the they could use seltzer water and it would taste the same. He took one sip. It did NOT. When we asked for a refund the manager on duty (Maddy) said she could not do that because he had taken a sip. ONE sip? You've got to be kidding me? Don't believe me, take a look on their facebook page. I posted a picture! Despite every effort to allow this young manager to rectify the situation, she continued to refuse any help to correct the product/situation. In fact she was outright hostile. There must have been a change in franchisee owners. Either that or they've hired the world's worst teenage manager. So Shannon Baker (listed on their card as the franchisee), PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE train your employees. This is not the way to deal with a long-time customer--make that any customer for that matter. As for me and my family who spent over $15 during this visit, we will not be back. We'll go to Cold Stone or Fro-Yo where service and the customer are truly valued! Sorry Baskin-Robbins this was a BIG F-A-I-L for you. And after reading the other reviews here on Yelp, it looks like there's a pattern. So customers beware! I'll admit that I'm a huge fan of Baskin Robbins. I could go here once a week, but my waistline wouldn't like that very much. This particular Baskin Robbin's is located in a small strip mall, right across the street from Pizza Hut and Hessler's Pub in South County. Parking, as well as getting in and out of this location can be an issue at times. The parking lot is small, and there's only one way in and out. My favorite ice cream here is chocolate chip. It sounds so simple, but it's really good. That said, this time I opted for chocolate chip cookie dough and reese's peanut butter cup ice cream. Both were fantastic. I usually make my wife get me an ice cream cake from here for my birthday. Yes, I know it seems childish, but they really are my favorite kind of cake. What's better than cake and ice cream all in one? :) Anyway, we usually come to Baskin Robbins if we eat dinner somewhere in So Co (Joey B's, Friday's, etc.). I know we'll be back. read more

Read a few reviews that customer service was awful. Just came from there and I was stunned at how awesome they were. I called at 9;30 to ask store hours and if they had a pie I wanted. A man said they open at 11, but yes they have it - come on in now! When I arrived he unlocked the door and put on the open sign an hour early.
