I ask the kid about it, to which he then proceed to drench it in chocolate syrup, which is not even the dip they use in the pictures by the way, making it completely gross and impossible to eat. I tell him that, but he tells me he "doesn't know what I want him to do". For an item so big online, I was just disappointed by this, especially since it was kind of expensive for icecream too. this is by far the dirtiest cold stone ive ever been to. i was in town with my mom and decided to get some ice cream but i clearly chose the wrong place. there were flies everywhere and the tables outside were filthy. it seemed like this place was understaffed as well as it took forever to get our orders. even then, my waffle cone was stale like it had been sitting out for weeks. i dont recommend coming here as its not worth it. in hindsight i wish i had taken my mother to a local mom and pop shop as im sure it would have been a much nicer and cleaner experience. read more

When you need your sugar fix, Cold Stone is the place to go. They have a lot of ice cream options and sorbet. I've grown up eating cold stone and have been getting the same thing for years. But now they have chocolate truffle and it's worth the calories. Taste like chocolate heaven. I mixed that with cheesecake ice cream and a brownie. The cashier was nice and helpful. I hate this Cold Stone.. it sucks because it's close to home and I can also order from Uber Eats... BUT the service here is awful. I usually try and order a waffle bowl on Uber Eats and rarely ever get one, they always claim to be "out" even though I've seen them make fresh ones when management is on duty. Worse part about ordering on Uber Eats and not getting the waffle bowls, is that you don't find out that they are out until you receive the order and have to go through Uber directly to get your money back, instead of the Cold Stone contacting you and trying to replace the item or refund right then. She told me she has never been, so off course I told her "What?!" and then "We're going". I never turn down a good opportunity to show the close friends what good adventure is all about. When we first arrived, Alychia greeted us with "Hi, Welcome To Cold Stone, How May I Help You Today?" I love the professionalism. We decided to try a few flavors due to the big selection. I decided to go with the Strawberry Blonde (Strawberry Ice Cream with Graham Cracker Pie Crust, Strawberries, Caramel and Whipped Topping), or heaven in a cup. I have deep with relationship with strawberries, and if you add a hot Summer night, it's the perfect dessert for Summer. Mike made my order to perfection, and I finished it within 5 minutes, which is a all time record if I do say so myself. All of the staff was pleasant, so no negative comments. I will say, I wish they had more space inside because it can get crowded very fast. This location being right next to FSU makes it a hot spot. My friend Mereya was also pleased with her order. If you like Ice Cream cakes, Cold Stone offers a variety of flavors, plus cool modern designs based on cartoons, comics, and TV shows. Coldstone has great ice cream concoctions but this 2 star rating is due to the poor customer at this location. I presume it can be a very difficult task to smile, welcome a few customers at a time and help them figure out which ice cream flavor you are going to scoop and mix. Indeed.....difficult for someone who simply does not want to do it or does not like what they are doing. I was served by a young male and female who almost made me think they were dating at the way they were bickering during my short time there. I wasn't greeted. It was my girlfriend's first time there so I was trying to explain the menu to her whilst feeling this heavy stare as if to say "hurry up." She [the starer] proceeded to make some waffles cones until I was ready. I placed our orders and both of us wanted waffle bowls. We were told there was only one and that it would take "a long time" for more waffle bowls to be ready. (I know a waffle maker doesn't take that long and the cooling time can't be THAT lengthy....) Reluctantly, I opted for a regular bowl and gave my gf the waffle bowl. This female was seemingly teaching the male a few things behind the register. She told him that he needed to set the first order in the freezer until the second order was complete but he never did. My order had banana in it and all of the bananas had brown spots all over them. I asked if they had any fresher looking bananas and they said, "No this is all we have." Reluctantly, I opted for the overripe and bruised banana. I had a BOGO deal because it was my birthday and I think that irritated this female because she had another thing to teach the male she was working with. We paid and left with her half melted ice cream that had been sitting in a warm waffle bowl and my bowl with the bruised bananas. I took note of the customer service number that was displayed right in front of the register. I was so annoyed by my visit that I actually called the number. Well here is another reason this store is only getting two stars. After making a complaint, I simply received an apology and a promise that my feedback would be passed on to the manager of the location. I would have appreciated a call or email from the actual store manager as a follow up to ensure he/she received my feedback and I don't think it is out of line to feel that they should have offered me something in an attempt to retain my business. I won't be returning unless I am specifically in the mood for something only they have on their menu. Otherwise, I will be getting my ice cream elsewhere. read more

Oh, the humanity! On the 4th of July, we stopped in to Cold Stone for a post beach, post dinner treat. The line was deep, but what made the wait time frustratingly long was the fact that only one employee, I REPEAT ONE EMPLOYEE, was situated behind the counter. Truthfully, it wasn't entirely her fault. She expedited cups, cones and frozen concoctions rather quickly for the circumstances at hand. However, you don't make each item and then force the customer to stand at the register without ringing them up. It's not only bad business for themselves, but it tempts the consumer to walk out without paying. Of course we paid, but I was over half way done with my cup before I was rung up. Ice cream establishments are the feel good types of places. Normally, you're with a group of friends, a significant other or family members when you go out for ice cream. It's usually a destination. The finished product should be enjoyed and savored. But this visit was painfully exasperating. If the product had the WOW factor, I'd make an exception. But for mediocre ice cream, I'd rather spend my funds elsewhere. read more

We ordered through Grubhub tonight at 7:00. We got a phone call from Cold Stone starting they didn't have what we ordered. I ordered a brownie/ice cream instead and they said they can't promise it'll still be hot. 2 hours later we call the store. No one picks up. We called about 5 times, still no response. We canceled our order and won't be refunded for 3-5 days. I don't recommend this cold stone. read more

What isn't there to love about Cold Stone? The service here has always been friendly, and the ice cream is always delicious. I ordered their current special, something with fudge truffle ice cream and brownie bits...due to extreme flavor explosion, I'm unable to remember the proper name. The only bad thing about this location is the size - it's so tiny, and the line can get backed up (and out the door) very quickly. Parking can also be a bit of a headache at times. Good quality of food but not consistent with rules when it comes to customers. I was in here last Saturday night and a group of people had their puppy with them and none of the employees said anything. I run in today with my small dog in my hands and I'm told I can't have her with me. Now, I understand that animals and restaurants don't always mix but mine is hypoallergenic and I never bring her into an establishment if she wasn't nor would I attempt to bring her if they made it clear to EVERYONE that animals aren't allowed. An excuse of "sorry we have a lot of new employees" doesn't cut it. You wouldn't have only new employees working during rush hours so someone on the clock should have known better and made that clear to the customer behind me with their dog. read more
