This review is for the service department. Although I normally post only positive reviews, I am extremely unhappy and frustrated after dealing with this place. It's been almost a year since I had the very unfortunate experience of taking my car here for the first time to resolve an issue, which left me with nothing except a headache and more problems ever since then. I would give negative 0 stars if it was an option. They charged me over $800 to replace an alternator (on top of $600 to remove my remote start system which they "claim" was causing issues). The first alternator they gave me was faulty (which they refused to acknowledge until I brought screenshots with proof from other places such as Autozone). They replaced the alternator with ANOTHER faulty one, which I just had replaced by my mechanic this week for $600 (much less than what Acme charged). I was there a total of 4 times last summer trying to resolve this issue, each time leaving with more problems than I went in with. My battery lights kept going on every time I left, and my car eventually wouldn't start several months later, due to alternator issues and issues with wiring that occurred only after Acme technicians messed with my car. When I tried speaking to a "manager", I was given the runaround about how none were available and would call me back. Six months later I finally received a call back, only after I started a case with corporate. The only solution that was offered was to waste my time bringing my car back AGAIN to a place that caused me nothing but problems since I went to them. Why would I want to do that and end up with more problems and headaches down the road?! Horrible customer service. I made it clear several times that I wanted some sort of compensation for the large amount of money and tremendous time wasted, taking a day off work to bring my car to my mechanic, being without a car for weeks last summer, and just overall awful experience. Needless to say, I got nowhere with it and am now out $1500 in addition to the new alternator for another $600, and $300 to fix the wiring issues, so well over $2,000. I have never experienced anything like this before in my life. I've been going to my mechanic for about 20 years and never once had an issue. I went to Acme once and have had nothing but issues. Definitely would not recommend. I am usually very fair and give people the benefit of the doubt, but in this case, I needed to express my frustration because this was definitely not resolved in a way that was beneficial, fair, or satisfactory to the customer. I also read several other reviews on here about people who brought their cars for service and ended up with more problems than they had to begin with. Normally I take those types of reviews with a grain of salt, but in this case I can't help but believe them after my own experience. read more

Bought a new 2025 Rogue SL! Originally from NYC, but came all the way out to get away from the cut throat dealerships. Conner my car salesman was AMAZING! He was very understanding and patient. Was not pressuring me in any way possible. Guiding me towards the best financial decision I could make when buying a car. I asked to see a specific car. He brought it around. I have been a satisfied customer of Acme Nissan for 30 years but they really came through for me this week. With inspection coming up in October, I couldn't get my pathfinder to complete all its sensors. I took the car to my mechanic with no luck so I called acme. Tom called me back within the hour and had me bring the car in the next business day. By the following day acme mechanics had completed the drive cycles and I was good for inspection. Do not ever bring your car here. They are truly incompetent. I had my 4 tired replaced and 3 months later one tire is losing air. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance and take time off to bring the car. After an hour they tell me nothing is wrong. Of course the next day the tire is still losing air so I call back again and they tell me I need to bring it in AGAIN. I tell them I just did that and they tell me we have to check it our first WHICH IS WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO IN MY FIRST VISIT. Needless to say I got absolutely no where speaking with these people and now will pay again to go to a competent mechanic to check my tire and I will lose the ability to use my WARRANTY!! My mom had a Jeep for 19 years so it was time for a new vehicle. We researched and found that Nissan rogues and Muranos are the most reliable for the budget we had. My mom has never stepped foot into any other vehicle before so it was important for us to have her to test out a few rogues and muranos and different trims. We found that this dealership had so much in stock, different years, color and trims. That was a plus. They have plenty of really good certified pre-owned options which is another plus. But the icing on the cake was our salesperson, Ronnie. He didn't brush us off when we came in. In fact, he gravitated towards us to help us find the perfect car. He was very patient, knowledgeable, and really wanted to know how my mom felt about the vehicles he showed her. His NO PRESSURE APPROACH is what sealed the deal for us. He actually took the time out to show her every safety feature in each vehicle. My mom had multiple back surgeries in the past so he knew how important it was for her. He compared different models and years with us so we can make the best decision. Ronnie's kindness, patience, and intelligence about these vehicles made a very grueling experience to have in this lifetime a very enjoyable and pleasant one! I often see the commercials where an energetic Acme spokesman says that Acme Nissan makes your experience "fun and easy". I tried to purchase a Pathfinder from Acme in the past. I sat down with the salesman and asked the price. He demanded a $500. deposit before he would reveal the price. I refused and got up to leave. The salesman told me to wait while he called in the manager. to speak to me. This was simply a psychological ploy to unnerve me. After 10 minutes of sitting alone I left. Fun and easy. I truly don't understand how anyone gives this family owned business poor reviews. I have been a loyal customer for roughly 10 yrs. From service to sales , everyone cares about my visit. If you shop around at other nissan dealerships in the central jersey area, they do not preform at the same level of professionalism. Trust me on this point since I tried a different dealership 2 yrs ago and found that they were scumbags. Not here. Everyone's courteous and respectful. If anyone has any issues, talk to manager Paul. I found if you advise what your ground level price is for a lease of purchase, they will do their best within limits to meet pretty close. Now don't think you can get a 43000 foe 20k or lease it for 199 with nothing down!!! Lol. Also make sure your enrolled in the nissan one to one rewards. Brought in my Altima to get CVT fluid change service. I scheduled my appointment on the website first thing in the morning and they took the car in immediately. They alerted me the coolant was black and needed to be flushed out and replaced. Also the heat shield came apart and could be clamped together. Unfortunately, in order to protect unsuspecting buyers, I must submit a negative review for ACME Nissan. If I had the option to give zero stars, I would. My story begins in mid June, 2020. I found a nissan on their lot, that was posted on a third-party vehicle listing site. I noticed that it had been sitting on the lot for about six months, so I decided to call and set an appointment to see it. As I do not live in New Jersey, I wanted to make sure everything was properly prepared for my visit, so I asked him to wash it and have it prepared because I'd like to take it home that day. (I'll spare most details about the particular vehicle, as the business practices with ACME nissan are what I want to focus my review on). Despite me telling Bryant McNeil, the Sales Associate that I'm travelling over an hour and a half away, the vehicle was not even sprayed off to give a clean appearance. Oil was visibly leaking from the bottom, the window tint was clearly unprofessional and had "3M" prominently tiled across all of the windows, aftermarket wires were hanging down below the trunk. It was presented awfully! Regardless to the horrible condition it was in, I still decided to take it for a test drive, to which they would only allow me to drive ~1 mile. My story should end here and I should have left and simply pursued other options. IT GETS WORSE. We entered into aggressive negotiations. To be clear, I mean Bryant aggressively let me know that there were NO negotiations. To add insult to injury, he kept making it known that the purchase would be AS-IS and that he could not discount the advertised price. I left, dissatisfied with the entire experience, feeling defeated and ready to continue my search with different dealerships until the following day, when received an email from Lou Narcisi, the General Sales Manager. I conveyed my observations via email, and his tone was much better. I once again, felt comfortable about the vehicle and the dealership while communicating with him. He assured me that he could have the Service Department look into the bad wiring and leaks. I let him know that I would be buying cash and inquired on the best out of door price. I also found that the vehicle was previously listed for less and forwarded the information to Lou. He sent me an email - (which I am attaching below) with the breakdown and I attempted to have the Dealer Doc Fee waived/removed. Lou confirmed that he was "all in at the pricing" that he sent. Finally, I was ready to make my vehicle purchase! Lou and I both informed Bryant McNeil, the shady Sales Associate, and I made a $500 deposit at Bryant's request. I had a certified check made from my Credit Union and brought the remaining cash as requested. I also insured the vehicle and forwarded the insurance info and had a family member drive me to pick up the vehicle. Despite all the communication with Lou and me complying 100% and the deal being in writing, Bryant called me while I was on my way to take delivery and stated the price would be an additional $1,300! Absurd!! Until this point, I have only heard about about dealerships doing this, but never witnessed it and have certainly never become a victim. This display of actions shows me that ACME Nissan practices deceptive schemes and preys on anyone who will fall victim. When I arrived, I showed all of my email communications with Lou to Bryant. He vehemently persisted on the additional $1,300 and disregarded Lou's "all-in offer". We engaged in a shouting match in the showroom floor and several guests uncomfortably walked away. When I asked for Lou, Bryant stated that he was not in the building and later stated that he was on vacation. As It became increasingly obvious that Bryant would not relent, I requested a member of the senior management team. Jake Jaskowski, the Sales Manager, had already been made aware of the situation, but I explained it to him myself. He reviewed the emails and offered a refund of my deposit. I have purchased many cars over the last 28 years and have experienced a very diverse group of salesman within the more popular makers. I have yet to have all my needs met; being comfortable, respected, educated and more importantly impressed-- until now. My experience at Acme Nissan was simply amazing and they did more than meet expectations-- they exceeded it. From the beginning I was met with a warm receptionist and asked to wait briefly in a very nice and pleasant setting. The salesman "Andy Patel" in short is an amazing salesman and even a better person. He came across as genuine and not the typical car salesman-- his attention to detail, overall knowledge and interpersonal skills really sealed the deal. Went in to test drive a CPO Murrano with Dennis Silowka. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, addressed all my concerns, and this dealership had the best out the door price compared to everyone else within a 100 mile radius. There were no hidden fees and Doc/Registration fees were reasonable; a big relief after dealing with many other less than scrupulous dealerships throughout the region. Dealership Is not EV friendly. In fact, not friendly at all. I would suspect that Nissan forced this dealer to install a Chademo charging station and the dealer hasn't even bothered to set up the user interface. I'm not even sure they knew what it was. Either way, nobody wants to be treated poorly. Especially after offering to pay whatever they want for the charging. Words that come to mind are hostile, ignorant and rude. If I wasn't talking to the owner that day, it was definitely senior management. In the grand scheme of operating a dealership, this incident was beyond insignificant. I'm writing this 6 months after the encounter. You'd think I would be over it. The sales consultant Bryant was VERY accommodating and reasonable. He addressed our needs and understood our price point without any pressure. The manager Lou was also very personable and understanding of our needs. From the sales experience all the way through the financing with finance manager Jack, it was a pleasant encounter. When leasing a vehicle from there, they also include two free oil changes and two free tire rotations per year for the length of the lease! The young woman to whom I spoke with appeared sincere when she shared that she would look into the matter. With in the hour she called me back and shared that ACME would refund the service charge. Today I received notification via mail that indeed they did. Yelp provided the venue for me to share my experience. With our Yelp I would still have a bad taste in my mouth regarding ACME. My husband and I received some of the worst customer service from the sales manager today. We were offered a great trade in deal from Honda and Carvana and wanted to see if Nissan would come close to it because they had some great deals going on. Instead of trying to work with us and meet us in the middle, the sales manager brought out numbers and graphs to prove that not only can we be wrong but we are probably liars too. Why it is so hard to believe Honda would try to hook us up to keep us because we were such great customers? That manager was absolutely out of line and couldnt even look me in the eye when I told him he shouldnt treat people like their unintelligent when in fact my husband and I are very intelligent and we had enough money to make the deal right then and there. Maybe we dont look like we have money. I hope after the fuss I make with corporate he will learn to treat people better in this business. read more

Service only review. I did not buy my car from this dealer but a warning came up in my car and I brought it here. They addressed the warning as well as two other recalls I hadn't been alerted too yet (2013 Altima). I brought my bicycle expecting to ride to work (four miles away) but they offered a free shuttle ride even though they also offer rental cars. My car was done just two hours later. I called them back near the end of my day.....they told me what they did and offered to pick my up at work (I biked it but a nice offer). When I picked up my car I found out they even washed it! I used internet sales, hint, Hint... This saved some serious coin and time. The purchase was relatively smooth especially compared to some operations in NYC. (OUCH) If you insist on walking in you can but your price will be different. This is for new vehicles. Do your research and be prepared. Ask for Yuri in sales. Their service department for my oil change experience is quite fine. 2014 If you choose to negotiate without the papers from the internet, (think about it the website has to earn its vygish) you could split the difference and come out $200 ahead. Lying, insane amounts of wasted time, etc, etc. I came here and met with Blair and the process couldn't have been more straightforward. The price I was quoted I was the price that I signed for. No hidden fees or fuzzy math, he was upfront about everything. It was as quick and painless as I believe the process could be. Acme Nissan is full of nothing but shady people. Here's my experience: Purchased a brand new 2013 Altima 3.5SL. It had some mileage on it, because it was driven by someone in the dealership. OK, not a problem. Only problem is, there was a large dent on the door and large scuff marks under the front bumper and driver side sill. I noticed the dent right away, and requested that this be taken care of before I purchased the car. Sales guy would say anything to get the sale. I take it in to get the dent fixed and they fix it, however they refused to repair the huge scuff marks under the front bumper and the scuff on the side sill by the driver's door. There is were Tom there service manager rubs me the wrong way. Basically tells me they aren't going to fix that and to take it up with sales. Sales tells me to take it up with Service. A previous reviewer said it correctly that Tom the service manager is a total DB. Sadly, I had Nissan points and took it there for service. This is where it gets even better. I requested the vehicle not be washed, as a detailing professional I know how to properly care for paint. Most dealerships and car washes go over your vehicle with dirty towels and improper washing methods, thus scratching your car before you even bring it home. Well, they washed my car and murdered my perfect finish and $300 coating that I hand applied. What are they going to do about it? Nothing. Can't even follow simple directions when they are asked....NOT TO DO SOMETHING. read more
