Love coming to Coleman PowerSports! We've purchased two motorcycles from them and had very pleasant experiences with all of the staff. Cameron has been a standout salesman super helpful and a pleasure to work with! Overall, the sales department has been fantastic. However, our experience with the service department has been a bit rough--mainly due to a lack of communication around timelines. Hoping for some improvements there, but otherwise, still a great place to shop for bikes! (Also thanks to Dave and Ivan for keeping us entertained while we waited!)

I inquired about a ninja 650 and Dave reached out to me and did an amazing job helping me find what i was looking for. We set up an appointment and two days later i came in and got what i was looking for. I received great customer service from everyone I interacted with but got PHENOMENAL service specifically from both Dave and Alejandro. They are the kinds of people that keep customers coming back and I would absolutely recommend anybody looking to purchase to go to them!

Polaris Ranger Ultimate purchased elsewhere from a dealer willing to put quotes in writing.

This dealership solicits business online through their website. I contacted them for a quote on what would be a $30,000+ UTV purchase asking for their out the door price while providing the usual needed info. In response, I received a text, a voice mail, and email asking when I could come in to test drive and see the unit. I respond and again ask for the out the door price. They tell me they are working on the numbers. I then receive a voice mail and text message that I must telephone to receive their quote. When I resist and tell them I'll just pass, I receive a lecture about the state of the market, and that my "presence" is my leverage. I live 2 hours away and they refused to put any quote in writing. Said they would share numbers only over the telephone. I then was turned over by text message to a "sales manager" who again wants to lecture me that they are the most competitive dealer around.....but apparently they fear people sharing their written quotes with other dealers and getting a better quote. Does that combo make sense to you? I'm 50+ years old and pay cash for my cars, motorcycles, boat, ATVs, etc. But apparently, I can't be trusted to receive a written quote on a product they are trying to sell. Perhaps they should not solicit business online if they prefer to handle things via telephone. They said they want to "earn" my business, yet refuse to send a simple quote. If a business thinks they are going to "earn" my business by not appreciating the value of my time and not trusting me with a written quote, I find it concerning. They will tell you by text they are the most competitive around but they will not prove it by actually issuing a detailed out the door quote. They claim I needed to speak by phone to get the most accurate information I needed. It's not that complex. A price and the taxes and fees, etc. They simply don't want to put it in writing. If you prefer to play games like this, the dealership is for you.

Bye bye bike...

UPDATE: I ended up getting my bike back from the 18K Desmo service last year on 8/30/2021. Just shy of 3 months for that fix. My rating is still a 1 Star based on the major issues i've had in the past. I just revisited my yelp page today, 7/27/2022 and see the owner has chosen to respond to more recent, and more favorable reviews, but ignored my very detailed, yet 100% accurate, 1-star review. Maybe because it's too long and there's too much to read. Maybe it's not my fault I have so much to write. Currently the Monster is back again for its 27,000 mile service and a failed throttle position sensor - AGAIN. Its been previously been replaced 2-3 times before by coleman's- I could check my records but meh. Bike was picked up 7/14/2022. We're 2 weeks in...not bad yet but I'm keeping close tabs.

I usually work on my bike myself, but this year I didn't want to spend too much time on it,…read moreespecially replacing the stock front fork with an Ohlins on my Yamaha XSR700. I also wanted a second set of eyes to check all my work and inspect everything once in a while, so I dropped my bike off at Fairfax Cycles. The main service I requested was to replace the front fork and exchange the fork and brake oils. I bought the Ohlins fork from Partszilla and dropped it off at the shop. I was missing some other small parts needed, and they were able to order it for me. I had a budget I wanted to stick to, and they were able to work with me to meet my budget and the services I needed. They were very flexible. For the amount of work done on my bike, I'd say the price was fair. The place is very busy all year round, though. Please set your expectations. You'll likely have to wait to get serviced. You'll also need to pick up ASAP. I felt good about all the services performed on the bike. The installed Ohlins fork makes the bike so much better. Will I come back, a definite yes.

I was a bit intimidated to walk in as I dont look like a stereotypical motorcyclist but the gentlemen was super friendly and fast with helping me. I brought in a broken clutch lever that I didnt have the right tools to fix it myself. He was super quick to fix it for me and didnt even charge me for the quick fix! Would def come back if I need anything to fix for my bike!

Quality Staff, Quality Service!…read more We moved to the Sterling, VA area this past June and since the move, my daughter Celeste has been aching to get another motorcycle. She did her research and was blessed to find MG MotorSports less than 15 minutes for our new home. The crazy thing about her motorcycle journey is that the first time we had ever been in the Sterling area was when we attended our first ever "Finish The Race" gathering at Calvary Temple. At the time we never envisioned living here now. MG Motorsports exemplifies the true sense of community with just how they show their sense of professionalism with their customers. From beginning to end My daughter and I were impressed by the attention to detail in helping my daughter feel confident in her selection. Both Zach and Greg made themselves available for any and all questions and final delivery scheduling. I knew the hand shakes were true and a lasting relationship in this communities motorcycle world was there for her going forward. I strongly recommend to anyone interested in a quality motorcycle purchase to take yourselves to MG MotorSports

Mike, his wife and the entire team at MGMotorsports are fantastic!…read more I purchased a 2023KLR650S in July and the price was the best I could find anywhere in the country. Part of the reason I say this is because I know they couldn't have made a lot of money on this sale. Yet every single interaction was a pleasant surprise! When I called about the bike Mike answered all my questions in a straight forward manner. He quickly told me the out the door price, the history and condition of the KLR (even sent me a video of it) reconfirmed that it was ABS, the crash bars and racks were included, they had copies of the service records, only had 780 miles on it. He was patient during the process of me wiring MGMOTORSPORTS the payment. His communication was excellent. He also offered reasonable shipping from VA to OK or agreed to store it a couple weeks until I could pick it up. When it came time to pick it up Mike personally met me at a subway station and drove me to the shop in Sterling. The motorcycle was ready to go and his wife was great with all the paperwork ready. I watched and listened as they dealt with other customers and they were sincerely pleasant with everyone. When it was time to leave, Mike and an employee checked the fluids, tire pressure, ect, one last time in front of me. We shook hands, he had an employee lead me in a company truck out Sterling to the main road headed west so I wouldn't get lost. Every couple of days as I leisurely rode back home to Oklahoma Mike would text me to make sure everything was good and askif I had any questions. I know this long winded, but for once something that seemed too good to be true, WAS TRUE@ My email is rsnowder@gmail.com and I will gladly answer any questions about my experience with MGMOTORSPORTS!
