The insurance company proceeded to low-ball me by saying my 20 year old roof just needed a repair job rather than a replacement. I was at wits end on how to proceed as it was obvious that my roof needed replacement rather than repair. Shingles were blowing off my roof. That is when Nelson Roofing came to my rescue. David went above and beyond the call of duty by going up on my roof and documenting the actual damage along with the poor condition to the rest of my roof. He took pictures and videos and the insurance company (a very popular insurance company) once again denied a roof replacement. He was able to finally convince my insurance company otherwise and I got my roof replaced. My new roof looks amazing and I am extremely happy with the work they did. I highly recommend them.

I would not recommend this company. Be extremely wary, especially regarding their "continued…read moreservice" agreements. My property manager originally hired them to clean the gutters on my rental property and apparently signed up for an ongoing plan to receive a discount. That manager left in July 2025, and I sold the property in November 2025. In January 2026--after I no longer owned the home--the company performed an unscheduled cleaning and sent me the bill. When I explained that I no longer owned the property, the company refused to drop the charges, insisting I never canceled the agreement. However, I never signed a contract. When I requested a copy of the "service agreement," they produced a document where my name was simply typed in--no signature, no timestamp, and likely filled out by the former manager. Despite my never confirming a 2025 appointment, they proceeded to service a property I didn't own, essentially trespassing. They claimed to have contacted me, but I have no record of any calls, voicemails, or texts. Furthermore, their actual work was subpar; they consistently missed the gutters on the back deck. To make matters worse, while one worker was suggesting expensive roof repairs, another worker privately told my tenant he could do the same job for half the price on the side. This "side-hustle" approach made my tenants very uncomfortable. This company is overpriced and employs shady business practices. Save yourself the headache and stay away.

He placed the Assured Roofing sign in our yard, and had a roll off dumpster delivered the next day and stated the material would be delivered the next following day. No materials were ever delivered to our home. For days and weeks following we sent numerous text, emails, asking when the replacement of our roof would begin. He delayed and continued to put us off until finally on June 24th, he texted my husband and called to tell us that he would be not be able to replace our roof. We asked for a full refund at that time and even offered to meet him in person to retrieve the money, he stated no, that he needed a couple of days to figure out how he was going to get it to us, and he would have his sister to wire us the money. Since then we have not hear from Mr. Moore, we continue to call his phone, leave voicemails, send text messages, emails and has also sent certified letters of demand for our refund, all of which have which he has not responded to. As of today, July 15, 2025 we have not received any word from Mr. Moore regarding issuing us our $5000. At this point and time, he has left us no choice but to pursue this matter further, until we receive a refund in the full amount of $5000. For anyone that is considering using this company, please use your own discretion, and due your research and due diligence.
