As an adult…read moreliving in contemporary times, it becomes very easy to feel dragged into the avalanche of responsibilities, work and that terrible "rush to nowhere" that affects us all. To me, this school is my scape, my breath of fresh air, and actually the space for myself, where I can actually turn back in time and be young again (yup! Pretty much like teleporting!). I've taken vocal lessons, drum lessons and belonged to adult band for about 4 years now, and everything has been just beautiful and so fulfilling. They are my family. They actually move me away from my personal reality and get me into a space for freedom, my freedom. And that is priceless. In regards to the staff, Heather, she is one of the most lovable persons I've ever met. Always there to help, with her amazing personality and smile; and Chris, the school director, wow, he is the dream-maker, so caring and so engaged to the students, always understanding and really a genius on its own. All the teachers I've met are highly skilled in their instruments and are incredible human beings. From what I see, little kids and young kids are always in heaven, grasping all these rocking opportunities, understanding what amazing music is, and the level of learning and music education is just amazing. I love you guys! Thanks for being so great, and for inspiring us to become better musicians each and every day!

We came all of the way from Miami…read morebc we wanted to talk to someone who really knew what they were talking about and not just a chain store trying to sell us an expensive drum (snares can run from $75 - $1,000's). The owner, Jeff really knows his stuff. It was obvious that my son and weren't that educated in snares - sizes, materials, finishes, sound, etc. He immediately showed my son one of the snares that I had found in my advance research as a good quality, buy. He talked to my son about the difference between this one and more expensive ones, explained the materials and sound in this snare compared to others, how it is made, it's market history, etc. Jeff wasn't high pressure at all. He made his recommendation, demonstrated the snare, then set up a drum kit with the snare for my son to try it out himself. We wandered the store for a little while longer with no interference from him. His price was a little higher than online prices, but Jeff gives a 3 year warranty on the drum (which is at least 2 years longer than most). He threw in an upgraded drum key and a quick lesson on how to properly tune a drum. If you're looking for an expert, personable, low pressure, drum equipment sales experience, then be sure to check out Resurrection Drum. We definitely will be returning for future purchases.

Prior to checking out, I checked the price of the strap and capo online to see if I could get it cheaper and I was quite shocked to see they were the same price. I purchased everything there. Lola was very friendly. The store was clean and the other employees were very polite. I will definitely return.

In university at USF I took a semester of ballet and the teacher complimented my technique as being the best one in the class, all thanks to the wonderful education I received at academy of arts. Now in 2025 my 3 year old daughter is taking classes and is enjoying every class. My mother, daughter and I recently went to the Christmas show and we were so proud to experience the show. It was such a great show, still professional and beautiful. 13 years later and Academy of Arts is still producing wonderful dancers.
