I visit Rocky point once per year or so. Colins had been the best food on sandy beach for a long time. And the prices are insane. Haven't changed in years as far as I can tell. Three tacos for $9. Cowboy burger is fantastic. But the best deal is probably the breakfast burritos. You get three burritos for like $7 or something. It's crazy. I always have left overs. Their maple bacon is indulgently delicious. The service is impeccable. Caters towards Americans and you will be comfortable without Spanish. But unlike other American centric spots on this beach, the Mexican food at Colin's is really good. Drinks are great. Beer is great. They always have the right game on the tv. Outdoor seating. This is a great locals bar with good food and reasonable prices. Plus fun games! There is always a special or something going on. Their $7 Bloody Mary has candied bacon, veggies and olives and tastes great. Avoid the Spicy Mango Daiquiri as it looks great but lacks flavor. The food is solid and people rave about their short rib tacos on Tuesdays. The staff and management are fun as are the customers who all seem to know each other but also like meeting new people. At the two gates you will have to cross to get all the way in to Colin's just tell them you're going to Colin's. read more

Food is very good but it's unbelievable a restaurant doesn't have the capability to make a bloody Mary with plain tomato juice instead of clamato. Ridiculous! My wife's allergic to MSG which CLAMATO has. We were here 2 yrs ago and they had tomato juice. How does a restaurant not have tomato juice. Truly amazing. Ate at Colin's multiple times during the RP trip. My least favorite thing would have to be the chicken taco. To me, the chicken tasted like it came from a can, but the carne asada one was good. The food was OK and nothing to write home about. Definitely a spot for convenience if you are wanting a quick bite or get drinks without moving too much. Coconut fried chicken- 1/5 stars. I love a good coconut shrimp but didn't think it went well on a chicken. And the fries were at room temperature as if it had been sitting for a while. However, this would be legit on a shrimp so I say stick with the OG. Sriracha shrimp tacos- 4/5. These were good. It kinda reminded me of what a shrimp taco would taste like at Chili's in the states. It's a safe bet. Enchilada plate- 1/5 star. This might have been the worst enchilada I've ever had in my lifetime. There was not much red sauce on it, and if any, it was all dried up. The cheese inside was just barely there. The rice was meh. It was just an all around bad news bears situation. Plus I asked for cheese enchiladas and it had beef in it so that was a no-go. Michelada- 1/5 star. You could tell it wasn't using Clamato but some other generic tomato juice I am not sure. It lacked the depth or the kick or the punch of a Chelada. Taco Tuesday special after 3pm- they have brisket tacos for $1.50 each. Brisket was tender and moist, almost melted in your mouth. But you gotta add the Sriracha Mayo on to bring the flavors together. A solid 3.5/5 stars. My thoughts are to get the coconut shrimp or any grilled shrimp dish and you will leave satisfied. read more

We spent two months in Mexico and unfortunately only went here once! There's just too many places to go in PP! Anyway, we met some friends there for the two-for-one burger night. It's on Monday's. They run out quick so you have to go early. The burger itself was a bacon cheeseburger with fries. It was all really good for what it is. The fries were great too! We also had margaritas. A lot of them. It was happy hour and I'm pretty sure 6 margaritas (three each) and two burgers was $23! That's insane. There's also a button to call the server on the table. When we pushed it he was there RIGHT AWAY. And, he was really good. I only gave it four stars because some of the other food isn't great. We wanted to get a few other appetizers and our friends and some people at another table advised against it. They were the bacon-wrapped jalapeños. I guess they're not great. read more

I've only come here for drinks and dinner but that's enough to give them 5 stars. First of all, they have amazing prices. They essentially have a deal for unlimited mimosas where it's either $10 or $11 for unlimited... I had 3 mimosas for $10. That's a great deal. All of their drinks are extremely well priced and yummyyyy. I tried quite the variety and I can't complain about any of them. I was able to get a double pour cocktail + another cocktail for less than $15 and that's pretty good. The food is also bomb. I tried the tacos, chicken breast and we had shrimp cocktails. The tacos and shrimp cocktails were very good! Soooo flavorful and very filling. The chicken breast was okay, nothing special. Colin's Cantina is a little place located in the condominium we were staying this past week. My daughter, mom and I ate there every day except Wednesday because it is closed on that day. Let me tell you the food was delicious. Our favorite breakfast was the chilaquiles with meat and a side of eggs. They are the bomb. Their Santa Fe chicken burger is delicious, but my favorite of all favorite are the BBQ Short ribs tacos. You will get three in an order and they are huge. You won't be sorry you will love them as well. The servers are awesome. All of them. They are so attentive and always with a smile on their faces. Made you feel right at home. Oh and let's not forget the drinks. Their Margaritas are soooooo delicious. They will also cater to you at the pool side. Thank you Colin's Cantina for making us feel right at home. Collins was super close to our airbnb, which made it convenient for our late starts and lazy beach days. Our server was very quick, gave helpful recommendations on what was good, and was so friendly!! The portions were large and it was very well priced -my Mexican scramble was $6 and I couldn't finish it all. Note: we first tried to come in a large group during prime breakfast hours on a holiday weekend, and had to leave because of the wait (which is to be expected). Margaritas are 2 for $5 during happy hour! Mango margarita was our favorite. It's so convenient since this restaurant was located at the condo we rented. The service and food was super quick. They even came around to the pools and palapas on the beach for orders. We ate there a few times during our trip. The nachos, bacon union rings and stuffed shrimp were my favorite. In laws got the fish and chips and loved it. My husband ordered the onion ring burger, it was good but nothing fancy. The only down side is the place is tiny. Try to come during slightly off hours and you'll be fine. Final added touch is there's this cute old man that lives in the condo right outside the restaurant. If you are eating outside he plays some good country music. : ) read more

Absolutely, the worst experience ever in Mexico. Over an hour waiting for simply tacos, no sides, no chips, nothing else. Yet, never received any of our food order. And, the margaritas were an awful premixed concoction. Do not waste your time nor money at this place. read more
