Great news Colin's Coffee fans, the shop reopened inside of the Upper Arlington Daily Growler. The shop serves coffee until 12 PM each day. The new location lacks some of the character of the Golden Bear shop, but makes up for it with a bigger interior and more seating. There is plenty of parking in the new location. I ordered the Buckeye Madness Mocha. The drink was quickly prepared. I opted for white mocha in place of the traditional mocha. The white chocolate flavor was great. I am excited Colin's is back in business and I will be a frequent customer.

Delicious coffee at a reasonable price and easy order ahead available! I've been getting the honey lavender iced latte and absolutely loving it. Coffee is made by Colin himself and he's so nice and welcoming. Coffee is only to go at the moment, but can't wait for the inside to open up because it looks so cozy.

Was really excited to try the McRoy breakfast bagel (bacon, egg, cheese on an everything bagel) since everyone seems to rave about it. It hit the spot, so I'd definitely get it again. I like that Colin cut it in half which made eating it much easier. Also got the Golden Bear coffee which had vanilla and honey in it. It had good flavor, but was a bit too sweet for me. Next time I'll know to ask for a smaller pump of syrup but I also wouldn't mind trying other coffees either. Service was fast, although the barista guy didn't notice my order and was quick to socialize with the lady taking orders at the cash register and an apparent regular customer. After waiting a couple minutes, I had to interrupt him to ask if he received my order. He looked down and immediately noticed the cup sitting right there in front of him. He was quick to make it and as he handed me the coffee, he made a weird comment like "sorry you had to wait, I'd give you a free cookie but we don't have any right now." It was a little off putting because I was polite the whole time, but that comment made it seem as if I had given him vibes that I was annoyed and expected some sort of compensation. Regardless, would come back to try other coffees and hopefully have a better interaction with the staff next time. Perhaps the masks play some role, as he probably couldn't see me smiling or follow other facial cues to help him understand I wasn't offended for having to wait an extra minute or two.

Highly highly recommend!! Such a friendly welcoming atmosphere and great customer service!! Definitely a hole in the wall coffee shop I wish we found sooner. Has a local following and lots of loyal customers and I totally see why!! So sad to see them closing.

Off of another review suggestion I got the iced caramel macchiato. It was excellent. Will definitely come back for another great cup.

A friend and I visited this week and it's a convenient location with easy parking which is always appreciated. The workers were so friendly and it seems like they love their job. We enjoyed our iced latte and tea, but the banana pudding Rice Krispie treat wasn't my favorite. I was surprised by the amount of food they have (chicken and waffles!) so I'll try something else next time. There was plenty of indoor seating and the vibes were relaxed and welcoming.

I hadn't been in the area for a while so I went to Yelp to see if there were any newer options for me to check out. That's when I found Bitty & Beau's and headed straight over. When I arrived I learned that this spot is a coffee shop, self described as a shop, "where people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are valued in the workplace." Their website shares that they employ over 450 individuals with disabilities nationwide. That is when I realized that Bitty & Beau's was actually a chain establishment with 10+ locations spanning from the Midwest and East Coast down to Florida and even Texas. I'm not big on chains, but this is one I can get behind. Very cool. A few things to note... It's located in a shopping complex, which means there's plenty of parking and other businesses like restaurants, a grocery store, etc. The interior is really dark and moody. That's not usually the atmosphere I look for when I'm going to work, meet someone, or hang out for a while. That said, I was able to find a table to prop up for a while. I had trouble with the wifi while I was there and didn't end up staying as long as I had planned because I really needed it. The staff was great! Super friendly, answered questions about their seasonal offerings, and all of that. We even got serenaded by a worker (All Star by Smash Mouth) and I couldn't help but join it. I'll also add that my seasonal lavender latte with oatmilk was $10 which baffled me. However, I did think it was cute that instead of a number to listen for when your order is ready, they would give you a playing card. Mine was the 10 of diamonds and it was ready rather swiftly.

It really pains…read moreme to take 2 stars off my normal 5 star experience but hopefully they will read the review (and the feedback I provided to the manager) and use it to return to their 5 star experience. On my most recent visit this month there was a noticeable shift in food quality and service. Our server was new to the team so I give him grace as he ramps up his learning curve. Other issues came from the kitchen. I learned that the tea house is under new management so hopefully they can get up to speed. Issues included: 1)about 45 mins to get our tea. Scones arrived and were eaten before the first drop of tea arrived at our table. Despite being ordered at same time. 2)the orange chicken salad is now shredded instead of ground. It was the unique ground up texture that I loved. I really don't even like chicken salad lol but the old recipe was much better than the new. 3)the carrot salad was basically just carrots with a dollop of dressing in bottom of the cup. The carrots had no dressing on them at all. 4) sausage quiche went half eaten by those who ordered at our table. These may seem like small things but when coupled with multiple requests for water, tea, and waving down the waiter for service it made for a very frustrating visit at what was previously my favorite little restaurant in Columbus. Fortunately the atmosphere is still lovely and the scones, cream and jam were on point.

I have not ordered tea service (as I don't actually like tea) but their scones are delightful. I also appreciate being able to sub the side of fruit for all berries due to my pineapple allergy. Reservations are required, there aren't many tables and they don't turn over very quickly. Our lunch took over 90 minutes, with just drinks and lunch ordered. The table next to us had a young girl celebrating her birthday with the kid's tea selection which looked very fun and she was thoroughly enjoying it. They have have a cocktail menu which looked great.
