I had a consultation last week with Katelyn. I have not had my hair colored in over 10 years. I shared that I am hesitant for color Due to how quickly my hair grows. She recommended balayage and provided me a detailed quote for partial vs full. I had my appt today and there were no surprise fees. My cost was actually cheaper than anticipated because Katelyn was able to do a partial. I LOVE MY HAIR BY KATELYN. She made me feel super fabulous and beautiful. From the color to the cut then the style. She helped me feel confident again. She is friendly, positive, truthful in recommendation and skilled. She is my go to from here on out. As for the salon. The desk staff is polite and accomodating. My son was out of school and had to tag along. The staff was nice enough to help me get him set up at an outlet to do school work. I will definitely be back and Katelyn is the girl for me. read more

For the first time in 3-4 years, I decided to take down my "mom bun," and get a fresh new layer of blonde highlights on my locks. Recommend to me by my husband; Collage Salon & Day Spa being the business he ventured to every 8-10 weeks, for his man haircut needs... Color and cut are 2 totally different beast, but marriage is about trust, so I made the call. Mondays are the only days that I have the ability to achieve any personal needs with the aid of childcare(my kid is awesome, but much too young to endure the hours of salon time and fumes associated with lifting my hair cuticles), Monday is not a day that many hair salons recognize as a work day. Thankfully! Collage Salon & Day Spa IS on for Mondays! Also, they worked me into their schedule with one day notice. God bless Victoria, the colorist who had me walk in with requesting ASH & PLATINUM BLONDE results to be achieved in one visit, for my hair that has not only reached epic lengths, but due to CoVid boredom -- my natural dirty blonde color, is framed by tendrils of self inflicted streaks of drugstore box dye pink/fuchsia streaks, that are somehow both faded and bright, at the same time??? Victoria was incredibly thorough in consulting on what I was hoping for and what was realistically possible (if you have ever gone the way of boredom unicorn streaks, then you probably already know: new color doesn't simply erase old color)- I can not say enough about how awesome Victoria was, from start to finish! She went the extra mile in ensuring the formula applied on top of the existing color, would not damage my hair; while working to achieve a dynamic blonde color, that worked with the pink still left behind. Victoria was professional, kind, and delivered exceptional customer service - even for a last minute appointment, on hair that had some hurdles! I was seriously overwhelmed with how beautiful my color turned out - Victoria achieved above and beyond what I was hoping for! Honestly, if like me, you have had bad hair color experiences in your past - you know how it is to pray for a good outcome - especially when searching for a new salon/Colorist. Let me just say, AMAZING EXPERIENCE! It was my first time there (I even got a welcome gift of Products! ) Was met at door with my temperature taken later a waiver to sign.everyone worn masks and precautions taken. The place itself very clean and pretty. I was given a sealed gown since i was getting a few highlights along with a wash and cut on my short hair by Kat, whom I'll tell you, for me, is an amazing mind reader besides a wonderful and very professional HAIRDRESSER! Went once, was good. Tried to schedule another appointment twice in the last few months. Impossible to make one unless it's only convenient for stylists that begin working late morning. Maybe less partying, more working? Good news for me, there are plenty of phenomenal salons that actually care about customer satisfaction and do more than the balayage (which they seem to be obsessed with and limited to). **Also, very important tips, they do the bait and switch. They'll quote you one price and actually charge you one much higher in the end. read more

Great salon. The staff is inviting, helpful and friendly. The salon is always clean and orderly. I never have any issues making appointments, they are very accommodating. The services I have had here are highlights, color, haircuts, children's haircuts, waxing, eye brow tint and lash tinting. I personally see Jessica Neal and she also has done haircuts for my little girl. She is amazing! Always turns out exactly how I want it. I always enjoy my time here and conversation. I would recommend this salon/stylist to anyone. read more

This salon is amazing. The girls that work the front desk are always so nice and ask if you would like anything to drink. If you have an early morning appointment they even have cute coffee mugs to drink from! The salon is always very clean and smells amazing. The stylists are amazing. Sydney Hubbard has done so many amazing things to my hair. I give her full control to do whatever she would like to my hair and I have never left disappointed. I get so many compliments whenever she does my hair. I couldn't imagine having a better hair stylist then her. I also think her price is great for the quality work she does. Horrible experience! Was referred to this salon by a stylist in Chicago so I decided to take her word and drive 1.5 hours to get my hair done. Went in for full foils and was scheduled with Hannah. I showed her exactly what I wanted and never once did she hesitate or say she couldn't do that color. I even told her I don't expect the exact color but something similar and that I definitely wanted to go lighter. She said ya no problem. Again I showed her several pictures and explained how some stylists said they couldn't do this color. And she word for word told me "maybe not the first time because your hair is naturally dark but you've gone several times we can definitely get close to this color." So I trusted that she knew what she was doing. It took her 3 hours just to do foils (I get foils all the time and never has it taken more than 1.5 hours) but that was fine I was patient and let her do her thing I didn't want to rush her. Anyways she then toned it and rinsed. And dried it so I can see the color....after she dried it i could immediately tell something was wrong by the look on her face...she looked worried and then said let me explain the color to you....so ya I knew right then that she messed up. I stood up and asked to see my hair and when I looked my heart literally dropped! She literally turned my hair orange and brown! Exactly what I told her I hated I emphasized over 10 times how I hate the orange brassy look! She did the complete opposite of the look I showed her! I wanted a beige blonde color and ended up with orange and dark brown hair...I came in with a wayyyy nicer color! I would have respected her way more if she was upfront and honest and said I can't do that color. I immediately asked for a manager but she wasn't there so they called the owner of the salon...the owner was very sweet and apologetic about the situation. But that of course didn't fix the problem. A complete waste of my day. Very disappointed in this salon and would NOT recommend it. I literally have a full head of orange hair thanks to Hannah...never again read more

I recently called the salon to set up a first time appointment & when I did I was quoted $118 for highlights. My appt was set for 11a and I was told it would take about 2 hours. After speaking with my stylist, Victoria she discussed what she would be doing and got started. She told me I couldn't get balayage because of how processed my hair is but ended up doing it after the highlights anyways...? Maybe that's why I now have horrible breakage on my hair that I've never had prior to having my hair done at this salon. My appointment FINALLY ended 4 1/2 hours later & when I got to the counter to check out I was told I owed over $200!!!! She tacked on fees without informing/asking me (she did inform me of ONE up charge which was the Olaplex) but then she charged me $30 for EXTRA FOILS!!!!!!!! And the highlights cost more than I was originally told. If you decide to use this salon (I won't nor will I recommend it)I would make sure you know EXACTLY what you're being charged prior to the appointment. I truly felt taken advantage of and didn't appreciate it at all. Oh yea & they'll take your picture after your service and post it on their Instagram without your permission. The absolute worst service. I went a few years ago and was told to blow dry my own hair! My sister was told to as well for a $95 haircut! Incredibly outrageous. She left with wet hair. You HAVE GOT to be kidding me. Will not go back. Do not go here if you want any type of customer service. You won't get it. read more

Well, they are kind of professional, but they are more focused on hair rather than make up. Several years ago I ordered hair styling and make up there. The hair styling was pretty good, the make up somehow made me look like a witch. Not sure why, maybe the eye shadows were too dark and the way they apply pink flush is ALL over your face... read more

HORRIBLE Customer Service. I went in for a quarter balayage and explained that I wanted a few blonde blazes to brighten up my regrowth. My stylist knew that I DO NOT like harsh lines, hence the reason I did not want foiled highlights. She proceeded with the balayage and added WAY too much. She then applied a toner that made my hair a peach color. Then tried a second toner which still didn't help matters. She wanted me to come back in a few weeks to correct my hair so I paid, left and walked right back in. I was then told that the only way to help the brass tones was to add highlights. She then put foils in and once my hair was washed and partially dried, I was left with SEVERAL lines and skips and gaps from where she failed to pay attention to detail and did not at all get close to my roots. I called to request a refund and was denied. They want me to come back in to get my hair fixed but I don't want the stylist touching my hair ever again. If she couldn't get it right after 3.5 and 3 tries, why would the 4th be any different. I will never go back. Horrible experience all around. read more
