I love it here! It's honestly refreshing to have maintenance actually answer emergency calls! Management is also very prompt and respectful of residents' privacy, even around shared spaces like the grill areas, pool and gym. The pool is always nice and clean, and the neighborhood itself is quiet and calm. Unfortunately, we are near an area where there's occasionally a lot of loitering and suspicious activity, so I definitely recommend not leaving personal belongings in your car or outside. My kids' bike was recently stolen because I left it out overnight. There is security walking around 24/7, but being in LA, thieves move fast.. so just stay vigilant like you would anywhere else in the city. Aside from that, my kids, my Betsy , and I are truly loving it here!

I think things have definitely improved since…read moreI first started living here & I'll list the pros and cons below: Pros: - Pet friendly - Cheaper rent for a 2bedroom compared to others in the area - Spacious units - 1 parking spot in the garage & street parking (yes, sometimes the nearby streets get filled out, but I've never had an issue parking further away & walking) - Friendly staff members - Fast & friendly maintenance crew (seriously, they're so responsive to maintenance requests) and even the gardening crew here are so friendly!! - Pool & (small) gym - Leasing office does fun events sometimes for holidays - Security guard -They give you a Ring camera (you need to pay for membership) Cons: - Only one window AC unit (newer units seem to have 2, so I'm sure this won't be a problem moving forward), so we had to buy a couple of portable AC's to be cool in the summer - Doesn't come with fridge (but this is normal in the LA area) - Bathroom is reaaaally small (think airport small lol), but that's prob how they get more space in the apartment overall - Not a lot of laundry machines/rooms and a lot of times there'll be machines broken - They added a door to the front of the buildings that locks and it's a hassle for package deliveries because the drivers don't know to go around the back and sometimes packages will just be left out front and get stolen if not retrieved in a timely manner When I first started living here, there was a big problem with homeless people hanging around and even coming to our door. But ever since they hired security, it hasn't been a problem for the last two years. They even added locks to the dumpsters to prevent dumpster diving and from having people stay in there overnight. Overall, not a shabby place to live, especially as a first apartment!

One of the biggest highlights has been the maintenance team, especially Jose. He always goes above and beyond. I've had the pleasure of seeing him in action, whether it's fixing my circuit breaker, clearing shower drain issues, replacing A/C filters, or handling other maintenance requests. He's always knowledgeable, professional, and gets the job done right. The property itself is clean, well maintained, and the grounds are kept looking nice. The only downside is that the parking costs can be a little steep. That said, the overall experience has been positive. Having respectful, chill neighbors is definitely a bonus, and thankfully I've never had any major issues during my time here. If you're looking for a well kept community with a reliable maintenance team, I'd definitely recommend Altura at the Groves.

What I am leaving behind is: An extremely secure home (apartment), they use key-pods, not keys, it records everybody who opens a hall way door, any entrance or even the mail room. Cameras everywhere, guards cruise at night. And I'll miss the management group above all. Jake, Jeanette and the rest the team, they helped me with problems; when I lost the my key-pod, they generated another for me on the spot, when I lost the garage key, they got me another one, and so on. I will miss you guys! Vic Mann.

I have been living here for a very long time and when Fusion Property came in they raised the rent as they pleased, refused to do any upgrades in the apartment where I am living at, complaining about petty things due to Apartments image while outside light fixtures are broken and trash cans are filled to the top with trash bags all over, trash all over the apartment complex, apartments filled with about 6 or more tenants, favoritism toward a certain tenant who gets to park where ever she pleases, management never on site, you sign a contract with amenities that do not exist ( supposedly for a pool, pool hall, etc), etc. It is not worth living here, so if you can buy or rent somewhere else, please do. You can actually get a better home that you can own at the same price as these apartments. Fusion Property is used to having apartments in Beverly Hills, but I am sorry, this ain't Beverly Hills and they are what is called a company to only screw people for money, aka "Leeches". The turn around rate in these apartments is bad, so that should tell you something about this place. Don't lease here!

My experience living here was extremely disappointing and honestly traumatizing for both myself and…read moremy children. I chose this place due to its location and convenience. I hated the thought of moving out, I was comfortable with the location, but I didn't have a choice. From the day I moved in, the apartment was not properly cleaned, the stove was filthy and clearly hadn't been moved or cleaned in a long time, with trash underneath it. I refused to use it and ended up buying my own stove. The kitchen cabinet door fell off as soon as I opened it, maintenance was quick to respond but the work they did was questionable, they clearly "mickey mouse" repairs. The laundry room was consistently an issue, washing machines were often broken and some of the dryers barely dried clothes. What pushed me to move out was the ongoing roach problem we had for months that was never fully resolved despite multiple treatments. As someone with a severe phobia, this situation caused stress and anxiety, and it made it very difficult for my family to feel safe and comfortable in our own home. I had to pack all of my belongings to allow treatment inside my home multiple times. Per management (Wendy), if this wasn't done, treatment wouldn't be successful. Towards the end, I had given up. I was so exhausted, so I kept my things packed away in containers. I was hardly home and stopped using my kitchen or eating there. According to Wendy, 20+ roaches hiding under the baseboards, behind my fridge and outlets isn't an infestation. I hired my own pest control and they confirmed there was an infestation in the BUILDING which caused these insects to crawl in from the walls and drains. I only lived here for a year, yet, this was one of the most distressing living experiences I've ever had, and I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially families. Wendy, you lack experience, professionalism and empathy. I really tried working with you but you're a very stubborn and unreliable person. You're never in the office, either on vacation or taking care of a "private" family matter. I stopped fighting you because of the panic attacks I was having due to my living situation, but you need to understand that what you did to me was morally wrong. You tried blaming me for an infestation that has been ongoing for years. You claimed no one else complained of roaches, but you lied. All of these pictures were sent to you and you let my children and I live in this filth until our lease was over.
