Free outdoor and covered parking are available. And I saw luxury apartments within the same lot. Nowadays that's the going theme... good compact living space with conveniently located shopping, dining, and entertainment within walking distance. That's my kind of place one day! They're also very respectful because towards the evening, they start quieting down and going home. In terms of your neighbours, they're very cordial. They're very peaceful and very nice. For example, if your package happens to get delivered to their door; they either put it back in the mailbox or delivery it to your own door. In terms of amenities, this is a great area. You are literally right off the 10 freeway. There is a gasoline station right across the apartment complex. Groceries, shopping malls, etc; they're literally 5-10 minutes away. So, there's no need to go long distances to go anywhere. In fact, there are two supermarkets walking distance from this apartment complex. Lastly, you're going to love Sylvia. It's always fun chatting with her. And they came up w lots of creative events for residents. I'm gonna miss them!! I left the unit super clean w professional cleaner and now is waiting time for them to come back w my deposit. There are rumors that you won't get your deposit back if living in Greystar Properties but we will see how Aston team does their job. Good things: amenities are great, neighbors and the building are quiet, and maintenance is highly responsive. We had no problems with getting things fixed. Some things you need to be aware of: The airplanes from San Gabriel airport fly about 600-800 feet above the building. The noise is constantly throughout the day sometimes exceeding 68 decibels. Closing the windows help a little bit. Worked with the airport management, and they are doing their best to educate pilots on the noise abatement in place. Unfortunately, there are no policies or potential improvements to the apartments (i.e. good quality double pained windows) If you can tolerate the noise, then you should be ok. But for those who especially work from home, it can become unbearable. Management is difficult to get a hold of. After moving in, I sent about 5 emails asking for answers to questions, but received no responses from any of them. For those urgent questions, I actually had to go to the management office and wait for them to arrive to get help. Not a very good use of time to be blindly waiting for someone. If you decide to move in, please ask about customer service.

It's honestly refreshing to have maintenance actually answer emergency calls! Management is also very prompt and respectful of residents' privacy, even around shared spaces like the grill areas, pool and gym. The pool is always nice and clean, and the neighborhood itself is quiet and calm. Unfortunately, we are near an area where there's occasionally a lot of loitering and suspicious activity, so I definitely recommend not leaving personal belongings in your car or outside. My kids' bike was recently stolen because I left it out overnight. There is security walking around 24/7, but being in LA, thieves move fast.. so just stay vigilant like you would anywhere else in the city. Aside from that, my kids, my Betsy , and I are truly loving it here!

But ever since they hired security, it hasn't been a problem for the last two years. They even added locks to the dumpsters to prevent dumpster diving and from having people stay in there overnight. Ivan has always been consistently friendly, professional, and extremely reliable. Every time I submitted a request or reached out to him, he responded promptly and followed through without hesitation. He was always punctual, always communicated clearly, and always made sure the work was done correctly. I never had to chase him down or wonder if something was going to get taken care of, he handled everything efficiently and with a great attitude. It's rare to come across someone who takes pride in their work the way Ivan does. He is dependable, cordial, and genuinely cares about doing a good job. If every maintenance manager operated like Ivan, tenant experiences everywhere would be significantly better.

The people who work in the office are always extremely friendly and helpful. The building has its own cleaning and maintenance crews. Everyone does a wonderful job!! The building is in a lovely neighborhood in South Pasadena. I can walk to the library, the senior center, Trader Joe's, and numerous restaurants and coffee shops. I really don't need to drive anywhere. The other residents who live here are also very nice and friendly. I have made friends here. My grandchildren love coming here and playing at my apartment.
