I went two Wednesdays ago on April 29th, was hoping to play Pkmn TCG but I was visiting and wanted to do other things around the city. I was informed the tourney would likely go until 9pm. They host both the card game and the switch/video game challenges. I did have a card to trade and the breakdown of the process was the most thorough I've seen yet and I wanted store credit as you get 80% vs 70% if you got cash only. Anywho, the wait to be called did take longer than I'd like but given it was busy and my decision on what to use for store credit took awhile, I wouldn't deduct anything. Avery (sp?) was the main person who helped me and she was very patient. I also bought some playable cards (they have a stash of organized cards in bins near their staff-only area which other employees helped me out with. All-in-all, very spacious and well organized! They have one exclusively for double rares/ex cards, ultra rares/full arts, ace specs, etc. They even have a box for people to drop off ETB boxes in for people to claim for free if they want to take home. I also noticed some instant ramen station which they utilized for food in the store. They have some nice wall art too that was handprints as well. UPDATE: I went back a few days later and my experience was much better. They actually added a decent amount of new cards and the varieties were much better. The staff was also friendlier and helpful. If you're looking for Pokémon cards, this is definitely not the best place to look for them. They had a bunch of single cards displayed and it looks pretty randomized. Not a good variety and honestly looks disorganized. They at least have a decent amount of sealed products, but everything was above market price. The staff wasn't friendly, nor were they interactive. The place wasn't that organized. There's a decent amount of table with you want to play card games with your friends. read more

The best experience I've ever had at a card store. Me and my fiancé came on a Sunday looking for Pokemon cards and were greeted with a packed store filled with a bunch of people actually playing the game and enjoying snack foods and drinks available in the store. We walked up the their display counter to take a look at their single cards, after speaking with one of their clerks and telling them it was our first time in they gave us a first timer gift! It was clearly an amazing staple in the community for card game lovers. We saw a bunch of kids and parents there also enjoying the on-going card games which was a huge green flag for us as well. They were selling the cards for slightly above msrp but still fair considering what they go for currently. So if you'd like to support a local "3rd place" in Seattle that encourages community and welcomes newcomers (and stick it to Pokemon scalpers) please come check Tabletop Village out! read more

Accidentally stumbled upon this place and I'm really happy I did! This is by far the best card shop I've been to around this area (better than the selection at PAX even). Their Pokemon card collections are crazy with the amount they have to offer. Their prices seem fair and I'm excited that they buy cards as well. I'll definitely be bringing my cards to sell here. The workers are also very friendly and seem knowledgeable about their products. It seemed to be pretty busy as well with people playing games and it's cool that they offer lessons and competitions. Hubby had wanted to go to some card shops while we were in Seattle, so before leaving for our trip I had looked up some places that might have what he was looking for. While we were out to dinner I checked to see if there was any of the shops I looked up for him around and saw that Tabletop Village was nearby. After dinner we took a walk over here since we weren't too far and it gave us a chance to walk off some of the food we had eaten. When we arrived we looked around and the store is better big. Hubby was looking at all the stuff they had, but I guess they didn't have what he wanted. He was looking at this binder and was asking the person working there about it. I believe he is the owner? He was super nice and friendly and was honest about the product that Hubby was inquiring about. He told him that he doesn't recommend the binder, if he wanted to give it a try he was more than happy to. Overall the atmosphere was great and the staff was friendly! read more

The unofficial Official Pokemon Center! I have never seen so much Pokémon stuff (games, cards, collectibles, stuff animals) in one place! Prices are fair and there are always freebies. This place is family friendly, animal friendly and all around good vibes! The staff, volunteers and the owner are such kind genuine people who enjoy games and teaching others how to play Pokémon and trade cards. The space is large, inviting and fun to hang out for everyone. My 6 and 8 year old love coming to hang out at tabletop village. Everyone feels included and listened to here. Highly recommend this space for any Pokémon enthusiast! Sundays are family days so we like to come every other week to play in the Pokémon tournaments and geek out on Pokémon. We can easily hang for a couple hours. There's so much to do here - video games, play with the resident puppy and bearded dragon Dazzy and gaze at the fish in the aquarium tanks that live in shop. Table top village is a special place in the community where anyone can come and be a part of. read more

A friend introduced my kids and I to Tabletop Village and we couldn't be happier. We went on a Sunday and had a great time. I have two kids that love Pokemon, my oldest has been collecting cards for years and my youngest just began this year. My oldest wants to battle and it was nice to have people at tabletop that will help him learn and to also have a place to play other Pokemon enthusiast. I myself am hoping to learn so I can play my son at home. My youngest doesn't battle but loves to collect cards. He got to look at lots of cool cards on display! It is the perfect place for both of them. Brain took time to talk with my kids and give them guidance with their Pokemon goals. I started to begin my Pokémon Cards journey, and we had a trip Seattle. During our last days, he headed to Chinatown. I searched up a place for Pokémon Cards. And then saw this place called Tabletop Village. The Employees were very nice! And the packs are pretty cheap for Seattle. And they gave us three free Pokémon Balls and also let us go into her sons room where he does podcasts and probably gaming. read more

Place is great. The staff is informative and helpful. My 8 year old is a collector, he's now moving into the actual playing of Pokémon and Tabletop Village has been a fantastic resource. After speaking with Brian, he's currently working on building an awesome deck for playing and realizing the importance that more is not always better.
