But, 3/4 of a mile is a long way to walk with heavy bags of groceries. Their staff is extraordinarily helpful and friendly. But I don't think they actually *want* to host private events! May 29: I emailed their Boston-specific private dining email (per their website). June 8: After no response, I emailed again. June 16: I filled out the event request on their website. June 22: I called and spoke to someone, who said she could forward my email to the events team. June 24: After no response, I called again, only to be told that she would once again forward my email. June 28: I finally get an email back. But it's from the cooking class team, not private/events dining. June 30: A *full month* after my initial outreach, I finally get a response. I still don't have an individual's name or a way of contacting them except through the generic email. In the time spent waiting for Eataly to get back to me about a private event, I got quotes from two other locations quite close by at comparable places, both of which came in significantly below Eataly's costs.
