We had been looking for someone to repair a window that caught a rock from a lawnmower for ages. The broken glass was in the middle panel of a three panel sliding window. I was referred to Joe at College Glass by yet another company that couldn't (or wouldn't) do our repair job. I was skeptical when Joe told me he could take care of it. He said he had not seen anything he couldn't handle in 25 years. So, I took him up on it and made an appointment. Dave and Nick showed up on time and calmly took the measurements. I asked them if they really could fix this window because it was a double pane. They assured me they could do it! It would take about 10 days to get the panel built. Today, a week later -- not 10 days, Dave and Nick showed up again and went right to work replacing the broken panel with the new one. It took them about half an hour. It looks great! I was attempting to apply a suction black out curtain in my daughters room, and one of the panes SHATTERED. It's the day before thanksgiving...I'm screwed. I'm pregnant and already on edge because of hormones, so a family member called College Glass. David was closing up the shop for the holiday, but he made it to my house in less than 10 minutes and had the pane replaced in 30 min! I couldn't believe it! I really thought we'd have to live with a broken window until after thanksgiving, but not with College Glass! Finally when he did answer he was completely rude. He told me the issue was fixed and apparently I needed to be there since my husband didn't check them good enough... do not use this company. Thank you College Glass for a great mirror! My wife and I needed a small space solution for our master bedroom/bathroom (the bathroom door would hit your knees). We decided to install a barn door and thought it would be great to have a mirror on the outside. I reached out to College Glass on June 7, Joe responded to me that same day. We had the order in on June 8 and the mirror was ready for pickup on June 11! The clear mirror is 28"x72"x1/4" thick, with a 1" beveled edge. We attached the mirror to the door using Masterpiece Decor's Mirror Mastic. Excellent company, excellent service! read more

College Glass replaced a broken window for our studio last Thursday. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful the two gentlemen were. They were there exactly when scheduled, efficiently replaced the glass, fixed another area of the window above that was separating, and patiently waited while I drove to the Director's house to get the organization's checkbook. (The Director forgot to put it into her purse when she left for the rehearsal that day.) The gentlemen were done in 15 minutes but had to be there for much longer to get their check. I tried to give them a tip for their wasted time but they would not take it. The delay was completely our fault and I felt very bad that we wasted their time. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever had the mis-fortune of dealing with. They don't care about their customers needs or wants, they just do things the way they want to do them. They brought the wrong glass (it was purple, not the normal green tint low E Aragon glass I have), the glass was scratched, and had a horrible smeared film on the inside between the two panes of glass. When my wife and I pointed out the many flaws, they tried to justify it. They finally agreed to get the right glass (it took over 2 weeks) and replaced it. They raised the agreed upon price and when I argued about it, one of them threatened me. Do not let these jerks into your house. read more
