I have been going to red wing for 15 years. Rhonda, the owner, is a treasure to work with. It seems like there's nothing about stained glass that she doesn't know. Red wing installed stained glass in my front double doors that were gorgeous ( I purchased them at redwing). I have had stained glass repaired there- i can't tell it was ever broken now. There was an oval stained glass that was so beautiful,I bought it, not knowing where I would install it! Her prices are reasonable prices, and she will work with you if there's something specific you would like her to create. I can't recommend red wing highly enough. My quest for art glass brought me here today. This little business has been in the same place, run by the same family, since 1958. It was indeed a great find. Rhonda is the current owner and artist, the daughter of the original owners. She was raised doing this, and her artistry shows it. What I particularly liked, other than the simple fact that she was such an easy person to work with, was that she loved to create in the old style. She could have fooled me, the classy items that I eventually purchased looked so detailed, they appeared to be much older than they actually were. And my items were considerably less expensive than if I had found them at an antique store. Luckily, both pieces were sized to fit my bill, some smaller narrower windows. And she kept them so that she could make some repairs to one, add strong eye hooks for hanging to both, and clean them up so they will be sparkling and glorious once hung. They were both solid, heavy pieces, with a lot of what I call jewels, and beveling that they do themselves. They are beautiful and of great quality. I highly recommend this little shop and feel fortunate to have found what I wanted so quickly and priced so fairly. It will add a magical touch to my home. read more

I found Redwing in 2018 when I had moved to Pomona. After finding out my turn of the century home had diamond shaped glass on several of the windows but had been replaced with new single pane windows, I called redwing and got a quote. I was a little gun shy to pull the trigger so I didn't. Fast forward a year and a half later to May 2020 and I called Rhonda again and I finally had my side lites installed with diamond shaped glass. I should have pulled the trigger in 2018 because what a world of difference they make the front entrance look. They did an amazing job making the glass, reinforcing it and installing them. Also, I got the antique wavy glass for lack of a better term and it adds so much character. In the near future I am going to do the transoms and definitely I am going to have Redwing Glass do the job. read more

I have been trying to get them to replace a window since December 7th and today which is January 5th, almost a month later, I decided to give up and look elsewhere. I'm the type of consumer who goes out of my way to support local businesses and family owned businesses. I made a huge mistake in trying to do business with Rhonda at Redwing Glass. Three months ago we had a slight accident when one of the four glass panels in the top of our coffee table shattered. After checking some great reviews on Yelp, I called Rhonda who said she could replace the glass promptly if I brought it in. I went to her store and quite honestly the place is very disorganized, which should have been a red flag for me. Rhonda looked at the glass and indicated that although the coffee table was only 2 years old, the glass was very rare, but she could get for me in a week. I gave her my contact info and she measured the glass. Since that time, I kept a record of all my attempts to get my small piece of replacement glass. 22 times over the last 3 months I called to speak with Rhonda and was promised on each occasion that I would have my glass that day or this week. She promised to return my countless calls and never once kept her promise. She never made one outbound call to me! I finally gave up on finding this alleged rare piece of coffee table glass and settled on paying the same $60 for 4 pieces of standard glass. After 4 calls today, I was finally told to come get my glass. I get there and she says okay I never did any paperwork on you, so how much did I quote you? Shocked that she had no record of a 3 month nightmare, I replied that she quoted $60 for all 4 pieces of regular glass. She says "are you sure it wasn't $60 each??!!!" I paid her my $60, took my glass and needless to say, I will never go back to Rhonda and Redwing Glass. Be forewarned. read more

Terrible quality, had a broken sliding glass door, the condition of the replacement was not of great quality. Putty fell and drooped from window trim. Entire piece looked like it was falling out, I called and had a very difficult time getting it repaired once they had my money. I waited over 3 weeks with an unstable door. Finally got that replaced using a different type of putty. Not sure why that wasn't used in the first place. Putty seemed to still fall off with weather change and normal usage. Was told I had to wait 6 months to user the door. Finally, was able to get them to come out a ONE AND A HALF MONTHS LATER . The customer service repair technicians were nice and very polite. Terrible customer service on owners end she was very rude and lied multiple times on when she would send someone out. read more

Went here in hopes of completing a project for my parents. Went over details and specifications with Rhonda multiple times. I was given a myriad of excuses as to why my project wasn't complete with part of it not even started after being there for longer than 1 year. When the first part of my project was "complete", there were welds that weren't welded, corners that didn't meet the corner and the frame wasn't square. It's been 3 months since I was told the second portion of my project was going to be started on January 1st...only to find out it still hasn't been touched. Do not recommend Rhonda or her work.
