Fast and easy. My gardener accidentally bumped into the glass French door of our sunroom. I called La Verne Glass and screen and Ben was able to give me an estimate over the phone after I sent pictures and measurements. Ben took the order, did not ask for any money and got the mirror in a very timely manner as I needed it for a remodel. The price was excellent and more than competitive. Today, we had a problem closing a Mikgard window in the bedroom. We called La Verne Glass and Window and they sent out two very friendly guys. The guys determined it was a fix that needed to be done by Milgard under warranty. They put the window back in place as a quick fix just to keep rain, wind and cold out of the room until Milgard could come out. They did not charge us anything. I really really wanted to like this place. They came right away for an estimate, showed up on time and were very polite. However immediately after install I noticed lots of excess glue, and I understand that may be the best approach for long-term. But when I pointed it out I was told nothing could be done because it was wet and once it dries to use a straight razor to remove the excess. I really don't enjoy paying $500 for a window only to be left with a project. I'm home alone with two young children. I do not have time to remove all the excess glue. Definitely not what I would envision doing in my free time. Made me think, what if I had use them to replace all my windows. Would I then be responsible to clean up excess glue off of every single window in my house? Really poor customer service. When a customer Tells you verbatim what she's unhappy with you don't give her advice on how to fix it... read more

We accidentally broke a homeowners window and damaged the metal frame in the process.
