Right before I before I went in to the hospital. :( My experience at C.M.C. helped push me through

I first came in and a Nurse Lauren helped get me into a bed into the E.R. She was very nice and very understanding. Made me feel very relaxed when going into an E.R. can feel very anxious. It set my whole experience in a positive tone. Most the E.R. staff, including Bernie and Nancy, were awesome, but I want to give Lauren extra praise . Then I was admitted upstairs. where C.M.C continued to make my stay comfortable and welcomed. They always asked if I needed anything or help with anything. I also want to give a big shout out to Eve (Evelyn.) (Hopefully I spelt her name right. For a CNA she was really impressive. She works Saturdays to my knowledge. Always checking up on me, if I needed anything then I felt comfortable enough to ask her. She is a great worker. She even got me to laugh. When you are in the hospital for whatever reason, the last thing you think you will be doing is laughing.

I have nothing bad to say. I'm actually pleasantly surprised that this emergency room didn't have: - a line at 8:45pm on a Thursday night - bad nurses or workers - bad environment Also, im suprised just how kind the workers are here, they show a lot of attention to the ppl who come in - it does take a little while to get situated Change ur clothes, get you in a bed, answer questions, be seen it's now 10:20pm I'm here waiting for the next step which is seeing how I can fix this lump under my arm and my numbness left side of body I'm happy I came here Much more character here than lb memorial hospital but then again I never experienced their emergency room

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally report a…read moreseries of severe safety, security, and communication failures that occurred during my stay in Room 103 on the night of July 13th. This experience has completely shattered my sense of security, leaving me feeling entirely vulnerable and unable to sleep. Below is a detailed account of the incident and the systemic failures that followed: Incident Details & Failures Failure #1: Unauthorized Room Entry and False Representation At approximately 11:00 PM on July 13th, an unknown male wearing a yellow smock over scrubs and a face mask entered my room. When I asked who he was, he insisted he was my night nurse. I knew this was incorrect as both of my assigned nurses were female. Despite me telling him to leave, he insisted a second time that he was my nurse. Only after he looked at the whiteboard and saw my actual nurses' names did he say, "Oh, I made a mistake, I'm sorry." He then approached my bed to apologize again. When I asked for his name, he identified himself as A**ad before finally leaving. The shift change was at 7pm. How did he think I was his patient at 11pm? Make it make sense. Failure #2: Complete Lack of Response to Emergency Call Button While this unauthorized man was still in my room, I hit my call button, alerted the operator that a strange man was in my room, and begged her to send help. She promised to send someone, but no one ever came. After the man left, I called a second time. Again, the operator promised to send someone. Again, no one came. Failure #3: Delayed Escalation and Negligence I was forced to hit the call button a third time. The operator informed me that my night nurse, Gina, was back from her break but was on the phone. Out of sheer desperation and fear, I had to threaten to rip the IV out of my hand and walk down to the nurses' station myself just to get someone to take my safety seriously. I also called Security twice to file a report and no one came out to talk to me as of 1:37am. Context of Vulnerability I want to emphasize how incredibly vulnerable I was during this intrusion. I have an IV attached to my left hand and was actively prepping for a colonoscopy the next morning. I had just gotten off the toilet when this man entered. Because of my medical equipment and prep, I was physically unable to run or defend myself. Post-Incident Actions taken Once G**a was alerted, she immediately came to my room, listened to my account, and brought in her nurse manager. Because the Patient Business Office was closed, I left them a voicemail. I also personally contacted Hospital Security to file a formal report. Recognition of Exemplary Staff Despite the systemic failure of the hospital's security and communication systems, I want to formally recognize my care team. Gina has been incredibly helpful, efficient, empathetic, and deeply remorseful about what happened to me. A***a has also been exceptionally sweet, professional, and attentive to all of my needs. They are the only reason I feel any modicum of care here. Request for Action This was a terrifying security breach. A random staff member or intruder was allowed to falsely represent himself, approach my bed, and ignore my demands to leave, while the emergency call system completely failed to protect me. I expect a formal investigation into: Why "Ah**d" was in my room and why he insisted he was my nurse. Why the call button operator failed to dispatch immediate security or staff assistance during an active security threat. What steps are being taken to ensure my safety for the remainder of my stay. I look forward to your prompt response.

The doctor did not bother checking mom whatsoever and sent someone else to check mom. Mom had a high fever of 106 which are typical signs of infection, baby was also not moving in the belly... 16 painful hours later she is scheduled for c section and at birth the baby is hurt which caused visible facial bruising. Not to mention the baby also was not crying at all after birth. It wasn't until a family member checked the baby and she had a bruised tongue, bruising on the head and chest as well which was mentioned to the doctor and we were told it was "normal". After the procedure, a few of the docs and nurses who were in charge of mom and baby were heard talking to each other all while our family member was listening, not knowing that we are bilingual Latinos who speak fluent English. It made us very upset that they were speaking between each other but not directly to our family whom had multiple questions as to why they took so long to schedule the procedure and why the baby looked hurt. Our family is infuriated with the "labor/delivery preop and postop care" given to both the mom and the baby, i highly recommend moms go elsewhere as I do not EVER wish this horrible experience for anyone of you. If it was possible to give 0 stars our family def would. PLEASE BEWARE LADIES AND GENTS

When someone you love is recovering, especially after surgery, it can be an emotional and stressful experience. You're worried, you're asking a million questions, you're hoping every detail is being handled properly, and you're trying to stay calm while quietly monitoring everything like you've suddenly been appointed chair of the family medical board. What has stood out to us most is the kindness, professionalism, and patience of both the staff and administration. The staff has been attentive and respectful with my grandfather, which means more than I can really put into words. It's one thing to provide care, but it's another thing to make the patient and the family feel seen, heard, and reassured during a vulnerable time. A special shoutout to Ms. Wil, the boss lady, for taking care of my grandpa and helping make us feel like he was in good hands. Her presence, confidence, and care really stood out. In situations like this, families remember the people who step up, communicate clearly, and make things feel a little less overwhelming. Wil has absolutely been one of those people for us. The administration has also been helpful and supportive, which matters so much when families are trying to navigate everything that comes with recovery. Their organization, communication, and willingness to help have made the process feel much more manageable. There is a calmness and consistency at Atlantic Memorial that has made our family feel more at ease. That has been our experience here. We're truly thankful for the care shown to my grandfather and for the compassion extended to our family. Dear CVS Senior Management,…read more I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience I had at CVS Pharmacy. The service I received was extremely poor, and some staff members behaved in an unprofessional manner I spoke with an employee named Imelda regarding my medication, but she walked away without explanation while I was in the middle of speaking to her. I was left waiting without any update, and she never followed up or checked on my prescription. I then asked for assistance from the manager, Jessie, but she did not take the time to properly review my situation. Even though I explained that my doctor had already sent the fax, she told me I could not receive my medication. Her tone felt impatient, and she raised her voice, which made me feel uncomfortable as a patient. Because of this, I had to contact my doctor again while waiting at the store. After they resent the information, the medication was eventually found in the system--but no one had taken the time to check thoroughly before. I ended up waiting about 20 minutes unnecessarily. I used to visit this CVS location often, and the staff was always helpful and professional. It was one of my favorite stores. However, after this experience, I feel nervous and uncomfortable returning, which is disappointing. I hope management addresses these issues, especially since this is a 24-hour location that many patients rely on. I would also like to recognize Liz, one of the pharmacists, who was very kind, patient, and helpful. She clearly explained everything and made sure I received my medication. I truly appreciate her excellent service.
