Just a heads up - do not go here if you want chrome done. The first set of photos were from when Lynn initially did my nails, the second photos are from I went back to have them fixed. NO THANKS... 1st experience was good but it was just a simple color/fill. Was excited to come back (knowing how descent salons are hard to find). She just trimmed and added 1 acrylic. I said I wanted a french tip when I sat down and asked for glitter in my clear coat. I asked again in between the process when I showed her a photo. Again when she put a non glitter clear coat, sealed it along with my skin, and when I pointed out the old layers of fill were visible. Thanks for careing about what the customer wants. I asked if their was a way to fix it? she said "no time". They still charged me $45 read more

Me & daughters First time. She got a full set & I just got a manicure. I like that they have a big staff so there is little to no wait. They do every style of nails and also offer eyelashe extensions. They did a good job on both our nails. Their prices are awesome. The cheapest I've seen & hope they stay that way. I went in for a regular nail fill. I had a pretty basic design (French with a shimmer/glitter over the top). The shimmer polish used looked nothing like the photo I presented. Instead of trying another shimmer/glitter (she had tried two that didn't work) I politely said I just wanted a solid color. She tried to talk me into keeping the white tips which is not the look I was going for and the white alone looked awful. She proceeded to complain about me in her native language as opposed to English. You don't sit there and complain about customers as they are sitting right in front of you. I chose to stop the services and just go to another salon to have my nails painted. I was very respectful when honestly as rude as the nail tech was she didn't really deserve respect after being so rude and unprofessional. I came in this past Tuesday for a gel manicure and I appreciate the that they took me immediately with no appointment and they were pretty busy. It was clean and they had a lot of colors to choose from. My technician was quick, which I liked bc I was short on time, but she was kinda sloppy. She did a poor job filing my nails and they were very uneven. She gobbed the bottom and top coat on each time and got it all over my cuticles and didn't bother to clean around my nail-bed before putting my hands under the light. My cuticles around all my nails; front and sides were stuck to my nails. She did a literal 3 second lotion rub and said done. I always keep a nail file in my car and as soon as I got in the car, I filed them as straight as I could, attempted to clean the polish underneath my nails and separate my cuticles from my nails. What I did like is that she applied a reverse French sparkle and every time she did a nail, she'd ask me how I liked it, which was great. Being her first time doing this sparkle, she did a great job! It was an inexpensive gel mani ($33), especially with her extra effort on the sparkle. I tipped her $10, bc I was pleased with the sparkle job and she seemed very pleasantly surprised when I said no change. read more

I booked a random pedicure here on a Friday afternoon. I called to tell them I was running late and they had no problem accommodating me even though they were busy. My pedicure was thorough and enjoyable. I was really excited when she asked if she could use a razor on my calluses. I've never had that done anywhere else before. I appreciate that she asked beforehand, I didn't feel a thing, and it was exactly what my feet needed. The massage was too light for my taste and more just her gently rubbing my legs vs. an actual massage. My polish came out great though and didn't chip for weeks! The salon was clean, but the decor was just ok. Definitely kept with the strip mall vibe vs. pretending I'm at a spa. The restroom wasn't great, but I was happy that it was available for my use. I had a terrible experience with Collegeville nails. I had lyn as my nail tech and she messed my nails up. they're uneven, filed edges and left some unfiled. underside looks like a train wreck. she did not do any prep to my nail and now I have had 4 nails pop off in a week of having them. she deserves to have her job revoked. the place is unsanitary, kept putting used cotton balls back into acetone. I also did gel which costs extra and it is cracking and flaking off. I paid $135 for a pedi and acrylics and they are absolutely POS it looks like I got them done at ProNails but at least pronails would be cheaper. DO NOT GO HERE THEY RUSH AND DONT DO A GOOD JOB; ON TOP OF THAT THEY ARENT SANITARY!! Go to Master Nail across from the target shopping center Lee is a wonderful lady and cares about every customer. I've been getting my nails done for well over 20 years and I've been to every local nail salon. This is my favorite spot for a couple of reasons. They really listen and work hard to give you the exact shape that you want and that is so important. I've gotten everything from acrylics to dips to gel manicure and pedicure. This is the only spot that I've ever visited that is accurate and can pull off nails and feet in an hour flat. I wouldn't do that on a regular basis as I wouldn't want to rush the technician but there have been a few instances where time was of the essence and they were able to deliver exactly what they promised. I've been going here since May 2019. Their prices are great and most techs are very nice. I've had pretty good experiences until last night. I was assigned to a tech I never saw before, assuming she is new. I warned her that I do have dry heels/skin because I'm a runner. Long story short, she cut me soooo badly on the side of my foot (where there was no dry skin!) and couldn't stop the bleeding. I had to ask her to put a bandaid on it AFTER she kept trying to spray it with the rubbing alcohol without giving me a warning. Holy crap it hurt! And how embarrassing the woman getting her pedi next to me was staring at the towel covered in blood. It's not a huge cut but it's deep. I'm also pretty sure that she put nail glue on it to clog the cut up! This morning I'm in so much pain and praying it's not infected. Not to mention, my French on my other foot is already chipped. Not even 24 hours later and I did nothing last night to cause that. Annoyed. And won't be going back. read more

I came here after being in the area for an eye exam. My nail tech Anna first asked if I picked my nails??? (What kind of opening question is that?) I then explained that I wash them all the time due to working in a hospital and therefore the skin cracks/pulls a lot. Next she grabbed the number of the color I picked but it was the wrong brand as she didn't pay attention when is showed her the exact swatch. When I questioned the color as she put It on she insisted I was wrong and that it would dry darker. It wasn't until I stopped her and stated that this wasn't the color I picked and that I didn't like it and it needed to be fixed that she did anything and even then she shifted the blame to me(I won't take a mistake like this out on a tip just fix it properly). She pulled the color swatches realized the mistake and then put one coat of the new nail polish over realized it wasn't going to cover the bright pink on ( I personally hate bright pink) and then made me pick out a different color that would be dark enough to cover it. Overall I ended up with at least 8 coats of nail polish on because she refused to take off the the wrong color as that would be more time. Not even 6 hours later and it's chipped already (gel manicure btw) so needless to say I'm annoyed and if I go back I won't have her again. read more

Meh. Came here with a friend who gets manis and pedis on a regular basis. She has never had a issue with the place. Trusting I would also have a decent experience, I went out on a limb and tried out the "no chip" shellac french pedicure for a (then) upcoming cruise.
