I have spent the last year and a half trying to find my salon home, bouncing from salon to salon trying to find a tech that is patient, kind and takes their time making my nails look exactly how I pictured them. I kept being disappointed with my service at other salons, until I found nails by sunshine. This cute, modern salon was recommended to me by a friend and I am SO glad I gave them a chance. Best, most efficient and long lasting dip powder nail work in the area. Linda is fast, thorough and detail oriented. My nails look great even after 3 weeks. The salon is very clean and nicely decorated. It is fresh, modern and bright. I never feel like I am being "juggled" between clients and I love that they honor appointments and take them seriously. I am a professional makeup artist and my hands are in many pictures and videos as I work on my brides and clients. My hands and nails need to look good. If I could have selected Zero stars I would have. Terrible customer service, unwilling to admit they were incapable of executing a nail design and to berate a pregnant POC customer in front of the entire staff and customers who were all caucasian because you were unwilling to put the customer first and try to assist your tech who needed help completing the job. A disgrace, shameful and discriminatory. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Updated Review - 4 Stars After my original review, the owner personally reached out, apologized, and offered to fix my nails along with a discount for a future visit. I really appreciated the gesture and the genuine care shown. While I wasn't able to return due to travel, I absolutely plan to go back and give them another try. My first time there today! Everyone was so warm & welcoming. The young gentleman did a great job on my pediacure. The adorable lady who did my nails was a saint. I will be mother of the bride in a few days & had my heart set on a specific way I wanted them done. Unfortunately left my cell phone home so couldn't share a picture. Highly recommend SunShine Spa & Nails!! Danny, Linda & Kim are all talented technicians who really know their craft. My pink and white gel nails last forever and I often receive compliments on them which speaks to their work. Awesome hidden gem in Collegeville. The only place in the area that correctly knows how to do dip powder!!! Very reasonable in pricing. The location itself is very clean! Tons of color options.
