This is the only dental place where I can say I like all the staff! The receptionist are always so…read morenice, and very understanding if you're having a bad day. My dental hygienist is always a huge highlight of my visit, she is so skilled and knows what she's doing. The dentist was also very kind and knowledgeable, and they fixed my problems from the most rational view. As someone who normally dreads going to the dentist, I'm not upset to come here. Another huge highlight to working people, they care about your time. I was even given time estimates and they always kept me updated if anything changed too much. I was treated so much better here compared to my previous dental office that charged more money for poorer quality services.

This is a fantastic place to have your mouth splayed open and penetrated by uncountable multitudes of cold and uncaring steel instruments. I walked in the door for my second appointment and was greeted by name! What!? Widdle old me!? The dental assistant on my first visit chugged through more than a dozen much-needed x-rays, making sure to capture the best side of my various cavities and crevices with superhuman diligence. They did such a great job it made me totally re-evaluate my feelings about dentistry. To think, you go to a family doctor and they pop into the room for 5 minutes, ask a few questions, are are gone in a puff of vaporized 100 bills. Meanwhile, these dental folks are down in the trenches, scraping, grinding, plastering, patching, every nook and cranny surveyed, explored and optimized. They are the gemologists to your yawning face-hole of uncut precious stones. The lawn crew to that wet and strange Master's Pro Golf course above your chin. The slightly drunk English professor to the pile of potentially powerful personal essays that is your maw. The office can be hard to find. It's one the SW corner of the building closest to 29th Ave. Look and listen for the "cascading" water feature near the entrance.

There is a full coffee bar and your order gets taken before your appointment so your drink is ready right when you leave. The hygienist, Nikki, was the most sweet and caring person and made my first appointment incredible. She was very kind and explained the entire process to me, what she saw on the monitor, and why the treatment plan was recommended with opportunity for me to change if I wanted to. Dr.Derek was very nice as well and both were sensitive about my oral history as well as genuine with how we will move forward. This office puts every other dentist I've ever had to shame because Dr.C's office has the most competent and knowledgeable crew you will find in Washington. They even have products on hand you can buy like xylitol paste which saves a trip to the store. I'm excited for my next appointment!

Our first cleanings were great. There are choices between choices of cleanings. I've gotten a cleaning every three months for the past ten years which I was told has helped on the gums. The cleaning was smooth with explaining what was to come etc. As for insurance....I like their plan which is very cost effective (saves the customer) when doing regular cleaning and xrays...not counting any unforeseen future teeth issues. Good dentists are hard to find so I recommend Ryon's practice.

I went to Dr. Donna Shau back in 2014/2015. I hadn't been to the dentist in years due to a fear of…read moredentists complicated by dental treatments that were painful and unprofessional dentists. During one appt, Dr Shau was attempting to do three fillings on three different molars, top and bottom. Halfway through the process, she told me that they needed to be root canals instead of fillings BUT she just proceeded to do the fillings. and charged me $765. Here it is 5 years later and those molars are now having to be removed due to the fillings falling out and leaving my teeth weaker. Had she just done the root canals as she said it needed, I would still have those molars intact. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Unfortunately with a new baby at home and a remodel over budget my finances are directed elsewhere. So crown isn't an option... how about fixing your customers smile temporarily? No acknowledgement that you literally are wasting my time... to me, extremely unprofessional. If I were to guess.. the margin just isn't high enough. Fair enough. But to top it off they refer me to Aspen Dental.. because their "standard of care" may be more in line with what I need. lol whoa. a quick check online shows aspen with 1.3 / 5 stars with 40 reviews... I'll pass thanks though. It's rare to fill the need to write something like this.. but that was crazy. Typing this as I wait for my same day appointment at another highly rated dentist who apparently is happy to help when people are in need. For some.. this dentist may be great. There's a lot of flash. I'm sure if there's a response to this, it will be my fault in some way. Not taking care of my teeth.. etc. But that's part of being a dentist I'm sure. The primary purpose is to serve the people in your neighborhood. To only have the most expense solutions available is pretty .. f'd. And really.. I just need some fillings. He did a crown for me, and my teeth were hurting. I explained it to him. He became angry and defensive, and said his work was "perfect." I guarantee you; it didn't feel perfect. I went to another dentist. He looked at it and said, "I dont want to throw anybody under the bus, but this is definitely not perfect work." The crown was installed and my teeth still hurt. In fact my are worse than they were before Kyle did his "work." I will need to have my new dentist redo the crown. From what I've seen and experienced, I think Kyle lacks the skills to be called a high quality dentist. Perhaps he kind find a high-quality dentist to mentor him.

I broke a tooth and my current dentist couldn't get me in before Christmas; however, Harken Dental (who wasn't even my dentist) fit me in! I didn't require a Novacaine injection which was such a relief, and I was in and out so quickly! My tooth matched up perfectly! I am very pleased!
