I found him when I was dealing with excruciating mouth pain. His office was the first to call me back and offer to get my in as soon as they could. He ended up having to do emergency oral surgery on my tooth that was cracked and had an abscess. He offered me nitrous to ease my anxiety, explained everything before firm and after. He put me on antibiotics & his office scheduled me a post operative follow up. They even checked on me via text. I can't recommend any dentist more! Thank you Dr. Allred & staff!!! Like a putz, I missed my appointment and when asked if I wanted to be informed of any spots opening up I said sure. Not being one to hold my breath, I figured I'd forget to follow up and poof all my teeth were gonna fall out. However this morning I got a text asking if I wanted a spot that opened up. To be honest I was a touch disappointed as I hadn't yet had the chance for breakfast. I decided to wait until after my appointment to eat. My luck being what it is my teeth felt so great that I didn't want to mess with all that hard work and waited to eat for several more hours. I went to see Dr. Allred when I had pain and sensitivity in a couple of teeth. He was very attentive to my needs, listened to my concerns, and then explained the different options. The procedure (a couple of fillings) was much quicker than I thought-- I was in and out in no time. And his staff were very gracious and comforting. What I thought would be a long a painful experience turned out to be much more pleasant and quick than I ever expected. He did a great job and my pain / sensitivity was gone. Dr. J is fantastic! I have always feared going to the dentist, like anxiety attack afraid, but the staff and hygienists at River City are so kind and helpful. I have been going through a pretty long and invasive procedure and I was terrified I'd be in a ton of pain, I have never even needed anything more than some Tylenol after each procedure. the worst part was the numbness after!
