    My car is fixed!!!
    Zenia G.

Collisions Kings is perhaps the most pleasant car repair experience I have had. They were upfront, thorough and put my needs first. No one wants to deal with insurance claims, so their team handled everything for me. They said the car would take two weeks to fix, but they were able to knock it out in a week and one day. I really recommend their services to anyone that's looking for auto body repair.

Rim was damaged, but it got fixed.

First off, I went to the place I always go to near my work, but they had changed owners and the new owners made some amenity improvements. Looks much better and there is also a rim shop next door. Redwood City is always changing but it seems to be changing for the better. My wife's vehicle had been damaged in a parking lot at the Tanforan mall. The vehicle was unattended and unoccupied when at least one vehicle hit the our parked CX-9 vehicle. Not only was there damage to the right passenger side of the vehicle, but damage to the rear bumper as well. When my wife left the with her car, she didn't notice the damage on the passenger side since it was away from her and she used the doors to place her new items in her vehicle. When she went to go pick up our toddler from preschool, she noticed that the rear door was indented in and a large indentation along the side of her truck was a cause for concern. Just another thing to worry about along with everything else in life. No worries though, I call our insurance carrier (which turned out to be a nightmare scenario) to get my vehicle fixed. The insurance carrier that I used was a new tech insurance company which doesn't have adjusters and never sent anyone to asses the damage. (All done via pictures submitted) Long story short, it took me having to complain to the department of Insurance, My congress woman Jackie Speir, the insurance carrier executive leadership in claims and the BBB for them to work with me. Beware the discount insurance company. Pay the extra $10 a month to save yourself the headache to not have to deal with that kind of scenario. Since my insurance company took so long to start my repair process, the shop I went to changed over into Collision Kings (CK). So, I decided to give them a try. After my claims process got started, CK let me know that they could deal with the insurance company directly, if I wanted, which I absolutely wanted as little contact with National General Insurance company (NGIC) as possible. The short story is that, CK dealt with the hassle that was my cheap insurance company and repaired my vehicle. When I dropped my vehicle off, they offered to drive me back to work, but I declined, because I had already ordered a Lyft. The manager explained to me that the process would take about 7 days to fix the vehicle and called me after a day to let me know that the time table was still correct. Since I had issues getting my claim started with my insurance company, I never got any feedback whether good or bad concerning how they dealt with and contacted with the company in the negative. The manager explained that if they have issues with an insurance carrier, they will try to leave the client, me, out of it to make the stressful experience better. They never heard of my insurance carrier, but they didn't have problems with my claim and doing whatever it is that shops do to get my vehicle repaired. So, I was happy with that. My vehicle was well maintained with some child wear inside on the carpet. Not only did CK repair the vehicle, like it was never damaged, but they made it seem like new when my wife and I went to pick it up. On my wife's SUV, since we have a toddler, the carpet had some kind of stain which I would refer to as the "spaghetti gum" stain of youth on one of her mats. I was surprised that they not only repaired the vehicle, but took it upon themselves to not just clean the car, but get whatever it was out of my wife's carpet. Her 2015 CX-9 smelt like it was new and also looked like it was new, from the outside in. As a creature of habit I recommend this place, not because they did what they were supposed to do, fix the damage on my vehicle, but because they made my family feel at ease and comfortable after the stressful situation of having our car damaged and then having to bought it out with our insurance company.

After 26 years of driving I had my first accident and it sucked since it was my brand new 2017 S550, but thank god I found Collision Kings and Uriel to take care of baby and have her looking brand spankin new! You never know what you will get specially with new cars so I'm so happy I made the right decision and Uriel and his team were amazing. She looks better than new and I highly recommend Collision Kings if you want professional work done to your car!

I called late at night and Cesar responded within minutes and we got it scheduled the next morning. He was also giving me live text updates. I called around so many shops and the avg price was $120 - $250. I even had the option to get a new tire, so they seem to have everything on hand, and the tow and new tire would've cost $270! Super inexpensive. I would def come back here again. My tires were perfect.

Predatory towing!!! My car was towed from parking area at a…read morelot where I was shopping. When I tried to get it back by calling the number provided on the sign a very rude girl answered. She proceeded to act like she was a police officer including demanding to speak with shop owners. She insisted the tow company asked each of the shop owners if that was a customer car before towing it however if that's the case of the 3 shops at the lot, than why would they need to ask all 3 unless no one acctually reported the car and they specificly target that small lot hoping to see a car they can potentially tow for a quick money grab . Which is exactly what one of the shop employees revealed when he was speaking to me after this situation happened and I was trying to get an address of the tow yard. And I witnessed it as I was at the lot waiting to get the information the same towing company truck came back to the lot and circled it with in a short time frame ( when at that point I was there and talking to all 3 shops owners/employees so I know they were not contacted and were simply doing tow rounds to see if any cars had been there since they last circled). Hence predatory towing!!! This way they can then go to each of the 3 shops and ask if that's a customer's car however obviously the shop owners won't know which customer owns which car so they quickly tow it and basically get a cash grab .... The little girl on the phone service refused to accept the employees account over the my phone when she asked to speak with them and they verified i was a customer and had been in the store. She proceeded then to question them aggressively about times and reciepts for purchases ( this was a Chinese gentleman who was getting very uncomfortable whith the way she was battering him with her questioning and aggressive stlye. He simply explained i was I had indeed used his store he wasn't sure of the exact time and she continued to battered him about the exact time until he finally gave me the phone back and said I gave her the correct information she asked for but I dont know exact time. She acted like she was the police questioning a criminal when she obviously isn't and was extremely unprofessional poorly trained... it took 5 times of calling the auto get her to revealed the address as she kept letting it go to voice mail ( which is in fact illegal in a private tow posted phone number) There's supposed to be a 24 hour pay by phone number listed. SHE would not accept the shop owners account that I was indeed there. She then said I would need to go to the address of the towed vehicle at 930 Pm even though it was over an hour from that time . When I arrived in a Uber I tried calling the number to make sure there would be someone coming and agian voice mail... I arrive at 915 so at 930 when no one showed up and I was stuck in a very dark and isolated areas alone I called the police number. They were finally able to reach her through there number and she said someone was on the way. I explained this was dangerous for me to be standing in such an isolated place latest night alone female and her person meeting me was still not there and late at this point and her response was don't worry nothing going to happen there and she hung up on me ... They tow guy finally arrived over 20 minutes late. I did have a written statement I gathered from the shop owners that I was indeed at the shops signed by them and I do have an ATM reciept also time stamped from the ATM machine in the market. When I asked for my itemized invoice from the employee that charged my card 680.00 and released the car and happened to be the guy who towed it in the first place and his name which they are legally supposed to provide along with a customer rights document he didn't provide any of that and would not answer me when I asked what time he towed this car and who indicated this tow in the fist place. HE ONLY provided me a receipt for my payment made under duress and a company card with only bussiness name and number on it ( NOTHING ELSE).This too is illegal and falls under Predatory and wrongful towing practices. I DID try to call the original signage phone number when I arrived home this time same girl answerd I explained it wanted the itemized tow invoice and I asked her the time my vehicle was towed she asked for my license plate number and agreed that I should have received that information and she would send it to me in a pdf however before I could give it to her she yet again hung up on me after I asked what time they in fact towed me ( obviously not with on the one hour rule ) Agian Predatory towing! THIS company is completely unprofessional and untrained in proper private property towing laws of San Mateo County! They should be investigated throughly. THEY have figured out a way to illegally tow people's vehicles and basically strong arm you into paying for the exorbitant rate to get your car back . EVEN when wrongful tow!!!!!

I had a deeply disturbing experience at Action Towing…read more This incident occurred on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at approximately 3:00 PM. I was waiting in my car while my husband was inside Action Towing picking up parts. A female employee approached me and told me to move my vehicle. I immediately responded politely, "Yes, I will move my car, thank you," and began positioning myself to leave. Rather than allowing me the opportunity to comply, she continued to escalate the situation. She called me deaf and blind, repeatedly threatened to tow my vehicle, and then told me, "You said you would move your car and now you're still here. It's a lack of integrity." At that point, I had already acknowledged her request and made it clear that I would move. I was not refusing to leave, arguing, or creating a problem. I was simply trying to get situated so I could move my vehicle safely. What was most upsetting was not being asked to move, that was her job. It was the unnecessary hostility, personal insults, and threatening behavior that followed after I had already agreed to comply. Her demeanor was intimidating, confrontational, and completely unprofessional. I remained calm throughout the interaction, and unfortunately it felt as though my calm and respectful approach only encouraged her to continue speaking to me in a way that I found bullying and demeaning. When I asked for her name so I could report the incident, she refused to provide it. I also asked for her manager's name, and she refused to provide that as well. I have never been spoken to this way by an employee of any business. There is no excuse for calling a customer deaf, blind, or accusing them of lacking integrity when that customer is already cooperating. Employees represent a company, and this type of conduct reflects very poorly on Action Towing. Management should have no difficulty identifying the employee involved based on the date and time above. I sincerely hope no one else has to experience this type of treatment.
