Final update. We just sold the car we had all the problems on the paint job with. When we traded it in, they knocked off quit a bit of money because of the paint job being so bad. The front of the car was a mess. What started out as a good experience deteriorated into a learning experience. All I can think of it maybe Audi original paint jobs are just far too superior and can't be repainted on. read more

I did initially have an issue but when picking up the vehicle, they rectified the problem, and were sincere in thier apology and appeared to have addressed everything. As for the repair, the work looks solid and my car looks better than it did before the accident. They cleaned the car which was a bonus I did not expect, and fixed my license plate which I really did not expect since it technically is not their problem at all. Overall it was a good experience, my only advice is to document everything so that you are protected, but that goes for everything everywhere. First off let me say that I'm not your average customer when it comes to being exceptionally picky about my car. That said, the guys at Collision Pros in Auburn made sure I was more than happy with the final results. The paint color was incredibly difficult to match and was already tainted from a previous body shop that failed to get it right. The level of service and concern was amazing here. I not only was able to get my car picked up by their towing company (so I didn't use my insurance) but then they also were very good at making a commitment and sticking to it. They gave me an estimated date of completion and then called throughout the process to update me. I didn't have to keep calling to find out if they were on track for completion. Additionally, I experienced a little trouble in getting the rental car, and after explaining that I am a BIG guy they had Hertz call me within two hours and provide me with a more suitable car.
