I have unfortunately had to take my vehicles to Mark and Brian on three separate occasions. I live about an hour away from Indian Trail these days though and STILL take our cars to them regardless of the distance because they do such incredible work. This last time, I called them right after I finished with police and everything at the accident and right around the time they closed on a Thursday, not expecting to hear from them until Monday morning. Brian called me back about an hour and a half after their closing time that day and assured me they would fit me in ASAP. THAT is customer service. While my insurance company made things particularly difficult, I knew the repairs were in great hands. The turn around time on repairs took way less than I expected. He did an absolutely perfect job remediating my Chevrolet Silverado after I crunched it less than a year after buying it. I made a appointment with Brian and Mark and before I before my appointment date someone hit me again. When I took the car Brian couldn't believe it happened and was as concerned as I was. He treated my car like it was his own and still managed to get my car repaired quickly. These guys are these best. They got new original equipment parts from Infiniti when the insurance company tried to repair the car without the new parts or use aftermarket parts. If you ever need a repair these guys will go to bat for you and get your car repaired correctly with parts and making sure the paint is matched to the original color to make it matches like new. With a couple of panels needing to be repainted, a bunch of PDR, wet sanding and buffing was given a 4 day window for the repairs. When I came to get the vehicle there were issues that I saw before seeing the owner and as I walked into the office I heard the owner outside viewing the car and yelling at his guys as it seems they "forgot" to wet sand and there were several dents that they did not repair. He came into the office and apologized profusely and told me that he would have it taken care of and he did. Came back a few days later and the vehicle was like new. In my opinion, there is no better repair shop in the greater Charlotte area than Collision Specialties. The quality and professionalism of the work is extraordinary; they don't miss any detail that an insurance adjuster may have overlooked or missed. They insist on returning the car in a condition as perfect as before it was damaged. I have had a variety of cars repaired here from Acura ZDX's and TL's to Lincoln MKX's to Ford Fusion Titanium's to Subaru Legacy's. A few accidents were my or my spouse's fault, but most were errant drivers intent on sharing my space/time with theirs. Prior to discovering Collision Specialties, I had some repairs done at other body shops in the region and was not satisfied with the quality of the repairs, especially in the areas of using original equipment parts and in matching the paint correctly. When Mark, the owner, and Brian and their staff are finished, the car looks and behaves like a new car. Their ability at communicating what is needed and advising and updating their clients on the status of their repairs is extraordinarily thorough. They are outstanding in a field that has a lot of mediocre to average repairs. Make sure you call to make an appointment for an estimate, as they don't take walk in business, and they don't advertise.
