When we picked it up the battery was dead so they replaced the battery. Less than two weeks later, after the vehicle sat idle for two days, the new battery was dead. We took the vehicle to a GMC dealer near our home and they installed another new battery, which also went dead after letting the vehicle sit for a few days. It was finally diagnosed that the after market security system they had installed was draining the battery because it had been installed improperly. I recommended my son to take his 2008 Forester in for a bumper to bumper mechanical check since before his 2K road trip. I had such a good experience with their service in January, and I wanted to make sure this car was serviced by Subaru mechanics. $3K later, having paid for the diagnostic and issues they found, he drove it home. On the 1st attempt to drive it after that, it kept stalling every time he stopped. He could not get through Philadelphia and had to have it towed. They are taking care of it today.

I asked him how it was possible to determine what the tire pressure was if he didn't have the proper equipment. He assumed he could just indiscriminately pump air in all the tires having no idea how much air he was putting in. The low tire pressure light remained on and my car was driving erratically. Steering was off and the very bumpy way the car was moving caused me concern. I took my car to the auto shop I use in Blue Bell and was shocked by the results. None of the tires had even amounts of air distributed. One tire had 50 pounds of air which could have caused a blowout or worse. In short, all the tires were screwed up. AAA should think about using Bob's when such carelessness and lack of concern for safety is at stake.

I explained exactly what needed to be done, take it off, heat it up, repaint, recalibrate the safety system, put it back on. The employee gave me a whole nonsense explanation about an internal sensor, and new parts and blahditty blah. I'm too smart for that. When I received the estimate, all I could do was laugh, $6,871. In the interim, I called my dealer and asked if they would take a look at it. He confirmed my suggestion was exactly what was necessary. I took it in the following week, it was done in 3 days and was approximately $5,000 LESS than the estimate from CCW. When I say minor, I mean it was so minor, most people wouldn't have even fixed it, but we wanted to. I felt this was a situation where they either saw a woman and thought they'd try to capitalize, or, figured a sucker is born everyday and assumed they had one with me. Wrong. Either way, not great business and it's a shame because I know they do very nice work, they just lack in customer service, honesty and integrity. Sometimes the best price isn't the best option, but in this case, it absolutely was.
