We just happened upon this place while visiting friends in North Miami. We LOVE Colombian food and were excited about eating here. That excite was quickly extinguished. The service was rude, slow and painfully dreadful! It took them 22 mins to bring WATER! Then the server finally took our order. We asked for empanadas before our meal and he warned it would take longer for our food to come out and everything would have to come out together. Anyways....40 mins after our arrival, our food finally arrived (wrong of course). At this point we were upset and dispirited so the flavor of the food didn't really matter any more. I recall it being halfway decent but the service was sooooo atrocious it took away from the experience. I do NOT recommend going there for Colombian food. The mediocre cuisine (undercooked churrasco, tough beef ribs, flavorless sancocho, bland beans, etc) does NOT make up for the horrible service! Food was great the first time i went. Second time arepa was impossible to eat, super hard and over microwaved it seems as most of their food is not authentic but frozen or From cans. Empanadas this last time we're over fried, tinto watered down, and arepa had no taste (at least this time it was edible) the only reason i didn't bring the food back is because my husband was starving if not i would have gone back. Not only the food was terrible it took over 40 minutes for eggs and arepa and 6 empanadas. They were giving the other take out orders placed after mine the empanadas and i was forced to wait since they forgot what i was waiting for the empanadas. When the food came everything was in the worst quality ever. Last time I went I was not even approached, not even a cup of water was offered. I was not acknowledged at all. Then, I ask for an empanada as appetizer. This restaurant has atrocious service. Originally, my mother and I came to this place to try out the food. What really got me to come back were the tremendous portions of food for a reasonable price and quality. The second time, when I brought my girlfriend along to try to it out, we received sub par service and the food was lower quality than the first time. Finally we came back to give it one more shot today because I was really hungry and in the mood for an arroz chaufa de pollo(one of my favorite dishes). My mother and I were met with terrible service this time. The server barely kept us hydrated, forgot our eating utensils, and the dish had soggy rice.
