My usual Cafe con leche with a little Christmas spirit!

This is my spot for my morning cortadito. The ladies here are the best and give me the VIP treatment. Lien is the sweetest and makes me the best cortadito with love. . Their food is also consistently good. I usually have their salmon for lunch but it's mainly my breakfast spot.

If "Nighthawks" had a Cuban food equivalent, this would be it! Located right on Biscayne Boulevard, Three Palms is not fancy but it's given me a solid spot for Cuban food when I've working late. They have both a dining room that's open until precisely 9:50pm and a 24 hour ventanita (takeout window) with a few tables on outside. The crew at the ventanita has been pleasant and helpful when I am picking up croquetas, empanadas and a cortadito when I've needed fuel for round 2 working from home. I've also enjoyed their chicken soups on those freezing 60 degree days; their media noche sandwiches are served with the baby fries (tiny crispy potato sticks), a decent amount of ham & pork but a little too much cheese for my preference. They could also put a little more butter on the bread. Their pollo a la plancha with moro y maduros (black beans , rice and sweet plantains) hit the spot as well. Depending on how late you go, service may be a little slow. But eating outside you might see anyone from firefighters grabbing a snack to an ertswhile Miami celebrity..to an engineer getting out of the office.

##2. Two Eggs Any Style with Coffee and Cuban Toast

The service was really quick and he was extremely friendly. We had mimosas to begin with, but they were flavored mango, which was different. I had the number four that came with two eggs, croquettes and rice and beans while the croquetta was good, the rice and beans were warm as if they were just reheated. Eggs were eggs nothing too special. My friend had a number two and his came with eggs, croquettes fries, Cuban toast and a cafe con leche. The fries are really crispy the café con Leche you add as much espresso you want to thethe warm milk.

Basic hot ham and cheese sandwich, this was NOT A CUBAN SANDWICH!

This place is a huge joke. There is no place in the world that makes Cuban sandwiches better than Latin Café 2000 near Miami International Airport on LeJeune Road. I ordered a Cuban sandwich from here and I did not get what I ordered. Instead I received a ham and cheese sandwich that seems to have come straight out of a microwave and had been sitting for quite some time. I say this because the bread was extremely hard and gummy and there was crusted cheese on the bread. My sandwich had NO PORK, NO PICKLES OR MUSTARD EITHER!! Stale, hard and very disgusting! This was a basic very disgusting ham and cheese sandwich and I attempted to get a full refund for this TRASH food which I refused to even continue eating. So terrible. The only thing that came out good of this place was their supervisor named Diana asked me to order a soda and she then sent me free food of my choice which was delicious, White rice and Black beans and pork.

One of my go to places to eat breakfast and dinner whenever I'm in the area. You can never go wrong here with the excellent food and service!!!

The service was amazing. They were very attentive. The food was also really good. We ordered the special of the day which was oxtail ( rabo encendido) and the churrasco both very delicious. My favorite was the croquetas very good flavor and cooked just right. Very good Cuban comfort food.

It's rare to find a spot that draws you back 24 hours later, but this place is a total standout in Miami. Despite having a larger group this time, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The service was excellent from start to finish--attentive, friendly, and perfectly paced for a family dinner. We kicked things off with the Cuban sampler, which was the perfect introduction to the menu and got everyone excited for the main event. Every dish that hit the table was a hit: the Red Snapper was incredibly fresh, and the Chicharron de Pollo had that perfect crunch. My wife really enjoyed the Chicken Milanesa, but for me, the Paella was the star of the show--rich, authentic, and packed with flavor. It's safe to say everything was delicious yet again. We've officially added this to our "must-visit" list for every trip to Miami. If you're looking for a meal that feels both high-quality and welcoming, you can't beat this spot. We'll definitely be back!

It has…read morethree locations in Miami, with this one in North Miami being the original, opened in 1991. We dined in, and the visit blew away the food from the previous week. I really like Cuban sandwiches, so will be something my brother and I keep seeking out during short visits to Miami. We had a one-day rental car, so found Little Havana Restaurant, coming a bit after peak lunch time. It's on a major street, with surface angled parking in the back. There are a lot of wild birds in the area, with their guano being everywhere outside. It's a big dining area inside, and we were immediately directed to a prime location with views of their small lush adjacent green space, and the birds that live there. Elizabeth was our server, with water and complementary rolls being immediately offered by helpers. She and her team were great throughout, offering suggestions and bringing the food nice and hot. We ordered off the Happy Hour menu (11:30 - 18:00 M-F) and the Lunch Special Menu (11:30 - 16:00). We were greatly satisfied with every dish Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, appetizer size ($14.99) - 5 jumbo tail-on shrimp, sauteed in a scampi type sauce. It's what you expect when you douse good shrimp with a butter garlic sauce. The appetizer does not come with rice/beans, but we had plenty of it from the other dishes...loved spooning the sauce over the rice while eating. Roast Pork Lunch ($12.99) - what a deal. A dish of pulled pork with a big piece of fried pork skin on top...reminded me of the Filipino lechon, or even the Hawaiian kalua pork, with the tenderness of the mean. It came with a big scoop of rice and a bowl of red beans. Lamb Shank ($18.49) - This was recommended by Elizabeth when asked by my brother, what he shouldn't miss. It's a Cuban special, cooked in wine sauce. It was a big piece, still on the bone, coming with a big plate of rice and fried plantains. He enjoyed it, though he was struggling a bit at the end. Cuban Sandwich ($12.49) - A full size Cuban sandwich, cut in half. It had been grilled on a sandwich press with a little oil, resulting in the cuban bread being crispy at the top. It had the right mix of that same delicious pulled pork, along with ham, melted swiss, mustard and pickle slices. It was very good, great value for the price. Paying was done at the top, and we intentionally did not take any leftovers. There is a framed newspaper article from 1991 in the lobby, where you can read more about their origins.

They have such cute drinks! I just got pineapple juice but my friends got their coconut drink and mojito and said it was to die for! For an appetizer, we got a sampler which had ropa vieja, plantains, empanadas, shredded pork, and some large fried potatoes. I loved that so you get to try a little bit of everything. The ropa vieja tasted just like grandmas. They use ropa vieja as the filling in the empanadas. The fried potato's was steak fry cut style. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Just how a perfect fry should taste! Everyone really liked the vaca frita! I think that's a must try! It's shredded beef marinated in this delicious citrus marinate. They fry it afterwards so it's pull apart, melt in your mount soft, with a nice crispy crunch to it. I think this is a must get dish. The desserts were delicious too! I'm giving 3 stars for the service. Our server was nice, but there were a few things I wasn't too happy about. We were offered still or sparking water, so I said "still". I should've asked for tap water but it didn't cross my mind. The water was $12 which was a surprise since it was almost the price of the food! When I paid by card, the server with the credit card machine was on the phone speaking with the manager in Spanish. The screen of the credit card machine was faced away the whole time so we wouldn't have been able to see the total. It was a bit shocking being charged almost $37 for one dish that cost $17! The service charge is ~20% and already included in the bill. Even though the food was good, I felt a bit icky from this experience so I won't come again when I'm in Miami Beach. If it was only one of the above I would've been able to brush it off easier, but the combination of being charged for expensive water + not being shown the total before being charged + server being on the phone + 20% service charge before tip was quite a lot. I sat outside and it was really nice being right on the sidewalk and people watching! Cute restaurant and great location right in the heart of Miami Beach.
