I ordered a Cuban sandwich, Cuban toast, and a pastry via Uber Eats. The Cuban was good if we just look at it as a sandwich, it was ham heavy and lacked pork to balance that. As a cheesy pressed ham sandwich? It was good. It was not a good Cuban. I hope that difference is clear. The sandwich was also heavily toasted which I don't mind. I wonder why my Cuban toast wasn't toasted though. It was literally buttered bread. I love bread so I ate it but again, that's not really what I ordered. The pastry was flaky and had a ton of filling. If I went back to three palms, I would look for their other sandwich options and for more pastries. 4.2/5 is what google says and I honestly really agree with that rating. The portion for the price makes it a 4.4/5 for me. The Cuban was easily two meals. Order issues impact my rating as well. read more

If "Nighthawks" had a Cuban food equivalent, this would be it! Located right on Biscayne Boulevard, Three Palms is not fancy but it's given me a solid spot for Cuban food when I've working late. They have both a dining room that's open until precisely 9:50pm and a 24 hour ventanita (takeout window) with a few tables on outside. The crew at the ventanita has been pleasant and helpful when I am picking up croquetas, empanadas and a cortadito when I've needed fuel for round 2 working from home. I've also enjoyed their chicken soups on those freezing 60 degree days; their media noche sandwiches are served with the baby fries (tiny crispy potato sticks), a decent amount of ham & pork but a little too much cheese for my preference. They could also put a little more butter on the bread. Their pollo a la plancha with moro y maduros (black beans , rice and sweet plantains) hit the spot as well. Depending on how late you go, service may be a little slow. But eating outside you might see anyone from firefighters grabbing a snack to an ertswhile Miami celebrity..to an engineer getting out of the office. read more

The service was really quick and he was extremely friendly. We had mimosas to begin with, but they were flavored mango, which was different. I had the number four that came with two eggs, croquettes and rice and beans while the croquetta was good, the rice and beans were warm as if they were just reheated. Eggs were eggs nothing too special. My friend had a number two and his came with eggs, croquettes fries, Cuban toast and a cafe con leche. This place is a huge joke. There is no place in the world that makes Cuban sandwiches better than Latin Café 2000 near Miami International Airport on LeJeune Road. I ordered a Cuban sandwich from here and I did not get what I ordered. Instead I received a ham and cheese sandwich that seems to have come straight out of a microwave and had been sitting for quite some time. I say this because the bread was extremely hard and gummy and there was crusted cheese on the bread. My sandwich had NO PORK, NO PICKLES OR MUSTARD EITHER!! Stale, hard and very disgusting! This was a basic very disgusting ham and cheese sandwich and I attempted to get a full refund for this TRASH food which I refused to even continue eating. So terrible. The only thing that came out good of this place was their supervisor named Diana asked me to order a soda and she then sent me free food of my choice which was delicious, White rice and Black beans and pork. read more

This is a great spot for awesome Cuban food with great service, they have daily specials and the prices you can't beat. Stopped by today got the chicken with grilled onions, white rice and OMG delicious red home made beans.. Wow the flavor was delicious and of course you have to get the side of ripe plantain bananas. My review is based solely on the Cuban sandwich. I was not impressed and wouldn't recommend it to others. The pork was lackluster and flavorless which was really disappointing. The rest of the sandwich was alright but overall, the Cuban did not meet my expectations. It is really huge and I liked the straw fries it came with but definitely wouldn't order it again. I will say that my friends who ordered different menu items were very satisfied. One ordered the pork chops and the portion was huge! Very filling and tasty.
