This was one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants. The food was always fresh and delicious. The restaurant was not packed around 6:30 pm on the weekend. But they didn't let us have a table since we were a party of 3. (Well, I saw 1 person sitting at the table. Hummm) I have to take 1 star for that. We ordered the ceviche, jalea, and macho fish. Ceviche and jalea were super good. But I don't know if they changed the recipe or the new chef. I didn't really like the macho fish. It smelled too much cheese and it was completely different from what they used to serve. So sad .... I guess I have to find other restaurants for the best macho.

Last time I visited this restaurant was years ago, it was good then, just as good now, the staff was friendly and attentive, the restaurant is very nice, it gives a good feel and the ambianceis definitely relaxing. The food was great, we only went for the Ceviche this time, we were glad we did.

This place was definitely one that can be easily missed. The signs of the restaurant is so minimal and the doors are blacked out so I even wondered if they were open. Opening the doors to a renovated restaurant, giving a very modern feel. The staff were super friendly and kind. I liked the food. I forgot the name but it literally translate to "green pasta with steak" which is basically pesto pasta. but to be fair, it was pretty good. I also tried the lomo Saltado and it did not disappoint.

Small, quaint, quiet place. The server was nice. The food was delicious. I will definitely be back. The drinks were okay.

This little place in NMB has some great Peruvian food and also great happy hour. The restaurant is more of a family restaurant so the inside is cozy, nothing extravagant. Food and service were fairly fast and attentive.

I came here for lunch hoping for a good meal since they had pretty good reviews but was not impressed. I got a lomo saltado and had asked for the meat to be cooked medium, it tasted and felt like it was cooked well done. The flavor was good/okay but the texture of some of the pieces of meat just ruined the dish for me. It was a bit hot and humid inside the restaurant as well which made the experience less enjoyable overall. The food took a while to arrive, there was a table of 3 guys that ordered after me and they somehow got their food first as well which didn't make sense. maybe my experience was a one off since they have good reviews but very disappointing to say the least. The waitress was nice except she forgot the coke that I ordered as well so I think she probably had forgotten to put my order in as well which is why it took so long

Wow!!! Everything so good. I started with a traditional ceviche. It's so fresh with good portion, then I order 1/4 of chicken really good amazing price with black beans and salad de la casa, with 3 amazing sauces. To the end maracuya mousse, really really good. The place from outside didn't justify what you will find inside, really cozy place, and the service was really good, I seat at the bar and all the guys very professional and friendly special Romina, with the recommendation.

I love Peruvian food so I've been to this place a couple times. If you are driving on 163rd you will see the name of the restaurant and know where it is so you can park in the back. The back entrance is not glamorous but once you get it the decoration is really nice, there is a long hall for pick up orders where people can sit on benches while waiting. There is a host who can take you to your table once you pass the pick up area. The food was pretty good, we got the ceviche for two that includes the clasico, mixto and merkado. These include fish, shrimp, calamari and octopus. I was surprised to see that they also have a mushroom ceviche which I would like to try next time! Portions are a little small but we were OK since we were not that hungry plus they did give us a lot of canchitas (peruvian popcorn) Service was good, it wasn't too crowded so we got our food pretty fast. We did wait a little bit for the check but the waiter was really nice. A must try if you are in the North Miami Beach area!

This place was amazing! The portions were huge and delicious, we tried the lomo, pulpo, ceviche and pasta huancaina and all were amazing. We took half home because of how big it was. Service was very quick and the servers were attentive. The ambience is nothing special, casual dining. Well worth the drive from sunny isles. Better than the other local casual Peruvian spots.

The service is incredible, the chef and other staff were quick and very attentive, making sure each dish is crafted to perfection. It's a very casual spot but the presentation of the food is up to par with some of the Michelin star restaurants you can find in the city. I do want to note that each group is served one at a time. We unfortunately showed up right after a group of 6 with another party of 2 already at the counter. The chef takes the order of the party that comes in first. The group of two ordered almost everything on the menu and the group of six put in multiple things meaning we were not able to put in an order until 6:30. Though this does make sense since there were only 3 people preparing the food, it was unfortunate since we were hungry and waited an hour to put in our first order. That being said, the food was incredible. We got the fish ceviche, spicy. tuna causa, and the cilantro lime rice. If you like spicy, get the ceviche spicy! It was one of the best ceviches I've ever had. The causa was very well balanced and the cilantro rice had a good amount of seafood in it. Everything was so beautifully prepared we almost didn't want to eat it! Overall, the food and service is amazing and I think the food is fairly priced for the amount of time and attention is put into each dish. But do be warned about the waiting time.

She broke down the concept of how things are ordered directly with Chef Anthony and from there, the rest is history. They warned their Michelin Gourmand bib last night and it was well deserved. First dish was the fish ceviche with medium spice (you can choose your level of spice). It was by far one of my favorite dishes. Following that, I had scallops that were like butter in my mouth with an orange zest as a finish. Following that was a tuna and avocado hamachi with a little crunch. This one is savory with a hint of sweet and it was a unique dish because of the ginger but it was good. Next up, the crispy rice with two tuna and two salmon and that was also part of my favorite bites. I ended the evening with tuna belly nigiri. It did not disappoint. 10/10 for all of the above. Definitely a cute spot surrounded by great company. Cute ambiance but you will also miss it because there is no sign outside so when Siri says you've arrived, she's not lying. Check them out and enjoy!

We started by sharing the scallops as an appetizer, and they were absolutely delicious--one of my favorite parts of the meal. They were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. I wasn't really hungry, so I ordered the leche de tigre and it was incredibly satisfying--fresh, juicy, bright, lemony, and full of citrus flavor. I especially loved that fresh lime taste; it made the dish feel so vibrant. My friends ordered a few different entrées, and I got to try a little bit of everything. Everything looked amazing, but I especially loved the shrimp risotto. For dessert, the maracuyá cheesecake was completely out of this world--so divine. It paired perfectly with an Americano coffee and was the perfect way to end the meal. The one disappointment for me was the sangria. We all shared some, and unfortunately it tasted watered down, more like diluted wine than a true house-made sangria. I was really hoping for something fresher and more flavorful. Overall, I had a lovely experience. The food and dessert were definitely the highlights, and I would absolutely come back. Next time I'd love to try one of their cocktails and order a full entrée of my own.

Although the restaurant wasn't busy, we were initially seated right next to the server station where orders are entered. We declined the table, and the manager thankfully seated us elsewhere. Had there not been another option, we probably would have left. I also noticed the ladies' restroom was poorly maintained, with damaged toilet seats and an overall lack of upkeep that was surprising for a restaurant of this caliber. The biggest issue was the service. When our entrées arrived, our appetizer plates were still covering the table. Instead of clearing them first or asking someone to help, the food runner was practically trying to fit our new plates onto an already crowded table. This never used to happen here, as managers were always visible making sure service ran smoothly. When we mentioned our concerns, our server mostly blamed staffing and management, explaining they no longer had someone dedicated to clearing tables. While I understand staffing challenges, guests shouldn't be hearing excuses. A simple apology and notifying the manager would have been enough. When Aaron, the manager, came over, we expected him to listen. Instead, he spent nearly 30 minutes explaining that he was new, talking about his experience at higher-end restaurants, and offering reasons why things happened. We appreciated the apology, complimentary dessert, and 20% off our bill, but what we really wanted was acknowledgment and reassurance that the problem would be addressed. Adding to our disappointment was that immediately after Aaron left our table, we watched the table behind us experience the exact same issue, with dirty dishes still on the table as their food was brought out. That made it clear this wasn't an isolated mistake but a recurring service problem that wasn't being corrected. I would have given them 3 stars instead if they hadn't wasted our time so much with nonsensical excuses. I genuinely hope this location returns to the level of service that made us loyal customers. The food and drinks remain outstanding and are the reason we keep coming back. For now, I can wholeheartedly recommend the food, but unfortunately, I can no longer say the same about the dining experience.
