If I could give this place 10 stars I would. It first started when i needed a new car immediately because my other one broke down and I had now idea how to go about getting a new one. I had called this place and spoke to madison about my options and we set up an appointment. She was EXTREMELY helpful and understanding about my busy schedule even texting me everyday to remind me about my appointment and having to reschedule. Once I went in there, I was helped by john who tried to get me a great affordable and safe car for being a 23 year old with very little credit history. Awesome!! Del the manager also came over to help and gave me an amazing deal on the perfect vehicle. John texted me everyday keeping me updated and making sure I had everything before I came to pick up the car. The amount of help and support i received from this business was extremely appreciated especially for someone who was buying a car on their own for the first time. Nick healey was the business manager who I met with after who helped me finance my car for the the right price and he explained EVERYTHING to make sure I would understand what was going on and how much was a good rate to pay monthly! After all of that it gets even better!! When I went in for an inspection sticker, they not only changed my front two wheels for free, but they also changed my oil for free and DETAILED MY ENTIRE VEHICLE FOR NOTHING!! I cannot say enough about this place and the people that work there!! They were so extremely helpful and did everything to make sure I was happy and comfortable in my new vehicle! One of the worst dealerships I have bought from. Bought a new F450 truck and had them undercoat it. They didn't cover up the cab and overspray went all over it. Then they used some sort of solvent to clean all the black spots of paint on the cab. I asked the owner Larry Gordan to have his body shop repaint my new 60k truck that they had the nerve to deliver to in that condition. I told the salesman "Dominic the Donkey" and the owner that the paint will probally fade or chip off in a year or two from using solvent on the paint job. He stated that if it did they would repaint it under Ford's Paint warranty. Sounds like fraud to me, they destroy the paint job and then stick the bill on Ford. In addition when I bought the truck on Sept 1st it had about 500 miles on it. Final delivery to me, over 800 miles. The salesmen told me an outright lie and the owner told me he did not have to take care of the problem because they have 100 other truck buyers that are happy with their trucks. They wouldn't be if their new truck got delivered to them in the condition they delivered mine in. I ordered a dual acting piston for the dump body and the delivered it with a single acting one. "Dominic the Donkey" first agreed that it had overspray and after they buffed it out and got rid of the evidence he had the nerve to lie right to my face and say that they didn't overspray it. Outright liars. Then the owner admits they did overspray it on the phone to me when he told me it was covered under Ford's paint warranty story. But what if it fades in 3 years and a day? Because of their honest approach, no matter if you are buying a vehicle or just in for the regular oil change - you are treated as a respected customer. I had purchased a new vehicle there in 2006 and have always had it maintained there and never were pressured to have "extra" work done. My husband had purchased a Ford truck from another dealer and never received the service I had grown accustomed to from Colonial Ford of Plymouth. He was so impressed with the staff there, they became our first consideration when in the market for new vehicles. We also shopped around to make sure we were getting a good deal, but no one could beat Colonial - not only in price but their reputation on service also! This review is based upon one dealing with the parts/service department; however, having had a similar situation at another time and with another dealer in the past, it is deserved. I found myself on vacation and noted that a lug nut was mysteriously missing from a wheel. I called them, found that they had the one I needed and went directly there. I bought the part and asked the service department of they could put it in. Being on vacation I had no tools. It was clearly a very busy Monday morning but, nevertheless, not only did they put it in they checked every lug nut to ensure that all were tight and properly torqued. Cost: $7.33 for the nut, no charge for the work (which wasn't much I realize but was important to me). I may never deal with them again in that I'm not from the area but this incident causes me to give them high ratings. read more

Went in to test drive a 2014 Escape (had purchased 2 vehicles there in the past when the Dinger Brothers were there and place was run right) NOW..THE PLACE IS A RIPOFF...salesmen who treat you like you were born yesterday...sales manager that is nothing more than an "educated horse thief"...the sales room is dirty...Highly recommend that Colonial Ford be avoided by all costs...they suck,,,I will never go there again..would not by a roller skate from them..I am going to go finance my next vehicle and spend my hard earned money with someone who treats you fair and equitable..not a bunch of crooks...My advice to anyone planning on venturing into Colonial..STAY AWAY...drive the extra 25 minutes north to Jannell Ford..better selection with much fairer pricing.... read more

Recently brought my Mustang in for transmission repair or replacement. They checked everything over, found the problem(s) and gave me a VERY reasonable estimate for the repairs. Unfortunately it was a bit more that I could afford at the time and had to have the car brought back home. Regardless of my having them do the repairs, those in the service and billing departments were just as courteous and helpful and professional as could be, never once treated me as anything other than a "valued customer." I would expect that this kindness and professionalism would extend to any other of their departments. I consider the experience to be the high point of an otherwise unpleasant mechanical failure and would go back to Colonial Ford again for sure ! read more

I had the pleasure of working with the people at colonial ford to purchase my first truck, and had a very pleasant experience. I worked with Jim and was able to test drive as many cars as i needed. I ended up driving two cars and even took them to my hometown about 15 miles away for approval from my family. I'm so confident and happy with my purchase. Jim had so much advice for a first time buyer and really made me feel comfortable. He handled everything, from transferring licenses plate, registering the car, and making all of the paperwork easy and clear to understand. I even got a surprising amount for my trade in. First time I went here for service as all other dealers we're booked 3 weeks out. I was amazed by the door to door service. It was like going into a space station with the automatic doors and spotless floors. I was greeted by their smiling staff and service folks. The team there explained the different services and got me into a great FREE program that earns me money with every service! I had not bought a new car in 10 years. I went to 2 dealers in my hometown and neither would give me pricing information. I went online and saw Colonial Ford, only 20 minutes away. They showed me three cars, and I drove all three. They let me take the one I liked out twice, and I drove it for half an hour. It was a new Fusion sedan, and it was the right size for my husband and I and my grandchildren. They did not push anyoptions on me, and were clear on the prcing, and particularly how the financing could work. I really wanted to move up to a 7 passenger vehicle, and I didn't think I would be able to afford to do it. They worked with me, and showed me options to help me get in my new wonderful Ford Transit Connect which is awesome. I have driven into the Ford service department two times in the last few months each time for a flat tire and couldn't be happier with the service. Most recently having delt with Anthony in service, he made a stressful situation as easy as possible for me. I was of course showing up with no appointment or plan but both times they took care of everything (helped me get a rental so I could get to work) and I was in and out fairly quickly. Many thanks to the service department at Colonial Ford! I live in NJ and was up visiting family in the Plymouth area when I experienced issues with my 2019 Ford Flex. I called around to a couple of dealerships to see if they could help since I needed to get back to NJ for work and schools. Others told me it would be 4-5 days before they could take me, but they told me to come in and they would try to take a look. His recommended service saved me money and his technician team provided top-notch service after properly diagnosing an engine light warning that indicated a malfunctioning thermostat.
