Just left this car wash. Saw the previous reviews but decided to give them the benefit of a doubt and support a small business. Well I am disappointed, unfortunately. It's not worth the money or anything at all actually. They left all kinds of things untouched surfaces not cleaned or vacuumed. I feel like I paid $40 and I still have to go home and clean my vehicle. I called the car wash and their answer was just come back anytime and will fix it! Truthfully that's kind of nice, except I can't drive 15 minutes back, spend more time there, for them to fix something they should have done in first place. I have been using this car wash for more than 10 years and always pleased with the workmanship. However my last trip which i paid $60 for a detail and car wash did not go well. Upon inspection at home the back of the car was not vacuumed and it was obvious. The car seats were not cleaned . There were areas inside the vehicle that was not cleaned . I parked in a gravel parking lot and some big car must of drove fast through mud because my car was covered!! I took my car to the car wash as soon as I could which was 2:00 the next day. I should have read the reviews before I went. I wondered why at 5pm on a Friday that there were only 4 vehicles there. They do not know how to wash an automobile. Water spots, swirl marks from a dirty towel and debris were left all over my 2019 Black Tahoe. Then the owner has the audacity to say it's because of the age of the vehicle the paint is old. It's a 2019 I just bought back in December, garage kept with only 2800 miles on it. From the other reviews and my experience I will advise "DO NOT GO THERE!!!!" Take your vehicle somewhere else. After having been going here for decades, they just broke their shovel with me. The washes keep getting more expensive, well that's inflation. But they've also come up with a stealth price raise, in that you have to pay over $20 to get your interior even touched. Any wash below that is exterior only. Well I can get a perfectly good exterior only wash at Bluewave for six bucks. But that's not how they broke their shovel. I went there today and paid the 23 bucks I believe it was plus tip basically for the sole purpose of getting my mats vacuumed, because they had dog hair. Well when I looked at it after they were through it looked like there was still the same amount of dog there was before. So I took it back and said that with the implication that I'd like them to go over it again . The sensible thing on their part would've been to say well doghair is difficult but will have another try at it. They weren't sensible they just said oh yes we don't get doghair out . I said well I guess I'll be vacuuming myself in the future and he smiled and nodded at me . So I clarified and not coming back here anymore . I was already a little leery of them because they did some damage to my leather , I believe by using the wrong product on it. I bring my own stuff one for leather one for plastic and I am virtually certain that one time they use the plastic stuff on the leather. So after that I stopped having them do my leather and did that myself now I'm gonna vacuum myself as well, and let Bluewave do the outside . But I'm sure not going back here. Further observation. When I got home I went at the dog hair on the mats with my cordless Bissell bolt pet . Cordless, mind you . I got almost all the dog hair up . And they can't do at least that well with a supposedly professional vacuum? Right. And there were a lot of spots on it that I don't notice when I run it through Bluewave. So I guess it's going through Bluewave tomorrow. read more

I bought a Gift Certificate for for my Aunt back in 2015. She lives in Alvin therefore she doesn't come to Sugar Land that often. She went to use her GC 2 weeks ago and the new owner or management guy gave her a hard time about using it. He wasn't going to let her use it although there is no expiration date on it and it still had 3 more visits on it. He finally accepted it yet he took the GC from her and said this visit will finalize the GC. My aunt is 82 yrs old and I find this guy very rude for treating her this way. When she told me about her experience I called Colony Car Wash and spoke to the man who took the GC from her. I told him about her situation of living in Alvin and doesn't drive to Sugar Land very often. He still wasn't going to honor the GC with the remaining 3 washes. He said he had posted a notice on the property stating that any GC should be redeemed by a certain time because it was under new management. I told him none of us was aware of the notice. He raised his voice at me to the tone that my husband heard him from the phone. My husband told him he was rude for talking to me in that manner then we hung up. My MiniVan's bumper was gashed (paint peel, not just a thin scratch) and instead of acknowledging the issue and working with me, the supervisor insisted that the scratch was from before I came to the car wash. The thing is that the car was in a body shop just 2 days back and every visible minor scratch was buffed out! Supervisor remained adamant and suggested that I should take the matter to small claims court. I asked if he has a camera so we could see what really happened (most car washes have cameras) and he said he did not. Poor experience. Supervisor not easy to work with. I love the concept of supporting small businesses rather than corporations. However this small business is one that I can't stand. It's a simple concept, we pay to have a car wash. With that being said Colony Car Wash's biggest problem is they couldn't wash my car! I get the regular wash, the guy puts it through the express wash and gives me my car. I told him there was still trash inside the car that wasn't picked up. He told me to bring my car back to lane and he'll redo the job. I wait there and no one attends to me. First off, the coupons you find on the back of your receipts is a sales gimmick! They use them just to get you there but they don't honor their own coupons. They claim it was a "printing error" by the printing company and even show you a homemade sign with the company's number so you can verify it was an error. Ridiculous! They rely on the fact that people are busy and don't have time to find another car wash. The car wash itself was good for the outside but okay for the interior. Horrible customer service, they did a horrible cleaning, I was promised they will clean the interiors, after I paid I saw they were not clean so I complain and they stated they only agreed to clean one spot, If I knew that i could have cleaned it my self. I told the owner that we didn't agreed on that, he said that for all the car would be 75 dlls, it wasn't the amount we agree on.
