The plaza sits on the doorsteps of Mission San Luis Obispo de Tolosa, which hosts an active parish, and has a museum and its own outdoor quad, where you can sit and enjoy the shadows of the mountains. If you want to sit and chill at in the plaza, you can do so, there are plenty of places nearby to grab an ice cream, a gelato, or a drink, and just chill here. There are some covered tables, and quick access to restaurants and stores - so, the plaza is a great meetup spot, where you can launch your tour of SLO.

It would not be a regular spot for us and we visit the area frequently and wanted to give this place a shot. . It could use a good overall cleaning with stain removals. Restaurant is ok. A little heavy on the grease ,the last few times we have been for breakfast.

It's quite close to Morro Bay and San Luis Obispo and very close to Montana D'Oro State Park, which is right on the ocean. This is an owner run park and there is no space rental. There is a monthly fee. It is a senior only park and residents cannot rent their homes to outside people. There are many amenities to the park, including a library, a private dog park, an RV storage area, which is available for a small rental fee per month, a bocce ball court, an outdoor spa, and an outside private social area. It also includes a clubhouse. The people here are more than friendly and there is a vibrant community and social group who hold many social activities throughout the year to which everyone is welcome. Management is through an outside contracted corporation, but the manager is very friendly and responsive to questions and concerns. There is also an internal governing board made up of the park's residents who work with the manager. It's a great place to live!

Came here with 5 girls to do the obstacle Course and zip…read moreline. The course was fun and the kids said they would it again. It started easy and got challenging as they progressed. There is some walking back and forth the little hill. They zip line down and walk back up. After the hour and half course, they were tired. They still Enjoyed the whole experience. The staff are friendly and making sure they understood all the safety rules. It runs about 0930-1330 and there wasn't any options for food. Kids get grumpy and hungry. I recommend bringing snacks. The other thing I wished was that they offered gloves. The girl's hand are all tore up on the ropes and some ropes looked like metal and hot from the heat. If they don't provide gloves, then recommend them and allow parents bring or decide to buy them.

They had lots of good food and it was easy to serve and there's plenty of parking and it worked out fine. If you need a fancy fancy new everything new place, this maybe not fancy enough for you. But for us it filled the bill with plenty of space easy to use kitchen area and a lot of happy people. The prices were reasonable for rental and what can I say I'd use it again if I was throwing a big party. Give it a run by and review the place and see what you think.

The way the recent sold out Chris Stapleton concert was handled had some serious issues. When…read more15,000 to 21,000 people are expected to attend, opening only one entry gate for the event was not adequate. Then, to make matters worse, the event allowed others to pay for entry to just the venders (to be in proximity of the music). I'm not sure how many thousands of additional people that decision caused, but their addition made the single gate issue even worse. I've never waited 40 minutes (and some over an hour) to gain admission to the fairgrounds in my 21 years of living here. The high heat of 90-100 degree temps made that a miserable wait and frankly dangerous for some. For the extra profits gained by allowing non-concert admission to the venue, the site should have hired the extra staff necessary to man all the entry gates. Also, it would have been great to have different and exclusive entry for those people with actual concert tickets, vs. those only seeking admission to the fairgrounds. One final complaint: there was only one vender open that sold hard alcohol beverages. This too caused long lines. So, after waiting 40 or longer minutes just to gain entry, you had to wait another 15-20 minutes just to get a cocktail. I hope if there is ever another 'pre-fair' concert, it is better managed than this event.

You can take potshots at them and complain about the things you didn't like or you can say wow there's been some pretty cool events here, and I have enjoyed a lot of beautiful art, beautiful flowers, incredible animals, incredible stage shows, average stage shows, monster trucks, big name bands, and more over the years. The commercial buildings often have more kind of products than a good Fair deserves. The FFA and the kids showing off their animals is always great fun. I love going to the sheepdog trials, anyway the fairground has all kinds of other events as well that have to do with beer and wine and cars and and all kind of paraphernalia. It's a good Fairgrounds they keep improving it every year oh, it's just part of where you go when you're around here

Be prepared to wait a while for each hole especially on the weekends! We visited here once when they were doing a TaylorMade fitting event which was very awesome (we signed up in advance). They are also building dozens of glamping style, eco-tents, on the hill which are going to be incredible. Definitely a beautiful golf course in SLO with a lot to offer!

That being said this review is for feedback not for criticism so please start by training your young staff to understand how much they impact our experience. For example, the last 3 times I've hear and order over priced beverages and food I have never received a single utensil or napkin. It feels like no one here was ever trained how to interact. The guy at the front didn't make any eye contact and has been on his phone for the last hour. Just asking, "please do better", as we're paying g for an experience and you're part of it. Thank You.
