Colony Roofer is not a reputable business. I hired them to do a roof repair that was causing a leak inside the home .Colony roofers did the repair incorrectly. The leak was patched but not properly repaired. This Was pointed out by several other roofing companies as I received quotes to fix their repairs. colony roofers came to look the repair that they made as well . One of their own staff member stated that the work was not properly done. He said he would notify the office and get me rescheduled to make the proper repair. Days passed and no one from the company was in touch with me . I called on a Friday I was told that someone would contact me on Monday and of course no one contacted me . I then call back left another messsge . The company didn't have the professionalism to even call or email me they sent a text message stating that they would not make the proper repair that they did incorrectly because it was out of a 6 month warranty . Also I was grossly over charged .. but he may you live and you learn. I learned not to do business with Colony Roofers LLC. We bought our home in 2021 and knew we had a very old roof. This summer, we decided to get it checked out and quotes from multiple companies to replace not only the roof but the gutters, too. We experienced the heavy rain storms last year and wanted to make sure we got ahead of any damage. Colony sent Kevin out and he did a thorough inspection. He explained all the options and issues he found to my husband and we were impressed with his knowledge and quick quote to replace the roof and gutters. The quote sent to us was impressive! It included a lot of information and photos of our roof, explaining our options and multiple price quotes for different shingles and gutters. We loved that they gave us options with no pressure to just do the most expensive option! Danielle followed up with scheduling and was super prompt and helpful! She made us feel important and as if an old family friend were taking care of our biggest financial investment, our home. The guys were here early and were SO FAST in removing the old roof. I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently they worked! The roof was completely replaced within the same day. Incredible! The gutters were done the following week, and despite the extreme heat wave, they still had their guys here and got it done. Colony Roofers are prompt, professional, and have great communication. I want to add that KYLE IS THE BEST. We started the process of getting a new roof in April, we had water literally leaking in our master bathroom. Our insurance company dragged their feet, gave us more than one adjuster, and it took 7 MONTHS to get our new roof. Throughout it all, Kyle followed up at least weekly, did multiple inspections, sent detailed reports, and overall had a great attitude. I believe we would not have a new roof without him. He stood up for us with the insurance company and made sure that things actually got done. I'm sure he knows the way to our house by heart since he has had to come out here so much lol, but he was so pleasant and chill every time, even with it being really hot or really cold. BEWARE!!! As a former "employee", they don't list you as an employee so they don't have to pay unemployment benefits WHEN you get proof that they are screwing you over! DO NOT believe the reviews! They are paid for and not genuine. DO NOT trust the TrustDale rating, it is bought! DO NOT trust the Elite Contractor designation from GAF, it was bought. This company does NOT do the installations, those are farmed out to the lowest bidder, and completed by questionable personnel. Those contractors will attempt to use subpar/cheaper products when they were sold the better or best options. I've documented all of this to include photos from previous customers. Sales men BEWARE, they will coax you in with full training, YouTube videos of other reputable roofing companies. They lure you with seemingly high commissions without telling you they are taking 20% off of the top, then they will inflate the total costs of the job to ensure that you get paid less. Interior Consultants/Sales people are required to also be project managers of the contractors that many don't speak English, to coordinate and ensure that they are doing the installations per specs. You are required to be the go-fer of these contractors to purchase and deliver missing items for installation. There are NO 3rd party inspections to ensure the proper materials and techniques were followed. I am a man of principle and I genuinely care about my clients. It broke my heart to have to explain why things were not done as I presented to my clients. Many times there was no justification of the errors. The horror stories are far too many to post here. Save yourself time, money, and heartaches, go with a company that will deliver on their promises and cares about their employees and customers. read more

Worst roofing company ever. Their reviews are not honest. They use lower quality and different materials from what is on your estimate breakdown on repairs/ jobs which always results in the leak or issues coming back. Not a sincere "Trustdale" partner. Where do I start. They scheduled my inspection on the wrong day then verbally blamed someone else for it instead of taking accountability. Their technicians are always late to inspections or don't show up. One technician couldn't service me because his drone has been broken for quite some time now. Zero stars. Lazy company. Mark came way out to look a roof and to give me a estimate. The day he come out he did not get measurements. Why he came out and not get measurements is pretty stupid. He said he was getting a Sky veiw. After 10 day I still have gotten a estimate. I reached out. He said Skyveiw did work on my house. So no estimate and now he wants me to do his work for him and give him the measurements. He not welling to come back out to do what he came out to do in the first place. Here a tip for you Roofing company. Roofers and Roofing estimaters need a ladder to get on most roofs. Stop being lazy. read more

Colony Roofers is the most dishonest and unprofessional company I have worked with. I was hired back in November 2020 by owner "Zach Reece" while they were working on a special project at the home of Country singer Zac Brown. They did a bad job not complying with deadlines and stopped working on the project never paying laborers for their job nor me for my dump trailers services. Once you call their offices they act like they don't know who you are and even tell you that if you want your money you can ask the client directly for it. Scammers and thieves that's what they are. People like this do not deserve to be in business. I have already placed a lean on them until I get paid but people like this need to be denounced to the authorities and other people so they don't get scammed as I did with more than $2,000!!!!! read more
