I've been trying to do new things with my kids during their summer break. We found this place and wanted to give it a try. We walked in as soon as they opened at 1:00 on a Tuesday and we got a table. They do take reservations. They have a $9 studio fee per person. This includes all of the supplies which is paint, brushes, etc. They also glaze and put your item in a kiln. The prices are different for each item. We got a salad plate which was $17, medium round box $23 and a waffle cone bowl $16. After you pick your item, you go up to the paint desk and can pick up to five different colors. You can go up as many times as you want for additional paint if you need it. The employees were very helpful. They came around changing out our water and giving us napkins. We didn't feel rushed at all. We had a great experience. We will definitely come back. After you finish you pay and then they give you a date to come back for your items. The only problem I had was when I picked up my items on our pick up date. Only half my order was ready. I don't live close to this location so not being notified my items weren't finished was very annoying. I had to make an additional trip the following day to pick up the other half. The employees did apologize but I wish someone would've notified me. read more

This location of Color Me Mine was small but well serviced! I came on a Saturday afternoon so it was very busy but luckily I made a reservation for my friend and I ahead of time. We were greeted warmly by a worker and checked in for our time slot. She explained the process and instructions clearly and took us to our designated table. They had a lot of seating in a back room which was nice. We browsed their selection of ceramics that we could paint. The selection was rather small and niche. I wish they had more basic pieces such as mugs with no words or designs or other dishes. We also got a mini palette to put some paints and their paint selection was on the smaller side too. Our table came with two sets of brushes, all of which were good but a little lacking in variation of sizes. We spent three hours there and it was a really fun, peaceful time! It wasn't too noisy even though there were a lot of children there, and the workers maintained a very organized and clean store. After we submitted our pieces to be fired and picked up at a later date, I was sent an email exactly a week after our visit that our pieces were ready! I would definitely recommend going here for a fun, relaxing activity to get the creativity in you flowing! read more

My daughter's love this place. We've been here 3 times and the staff are very friendly and helpful. You start by choosing a ceramic. They have so many options to choose from, from plant pots, to kitchen accessories, piggy banks, and regular statues. Then, you choose the colors you want and paint away. The staff come around and provide you clean water and you can ask them for more paint as well. You pick up your ceramics about a week later. Overall, Great experience. I little on the pricey side as each ceramic starts around $25 and it's $9 each painter. For my family of four we paid about $155; however, it was worth it because my kids had a blast. read more

I'm so disappointed in my experience here. My cousins and I came here to celebrate a birthday, and we painted 3 items. They told us we would be contacted within 5-7 days to pick up our items. I hadn't heard back and it had been almost 3 weeks, so I called them and they said, "oh we didn't contact you because there was an incident and one of your items shattered." I don't understand why they wouldn't contact me to pick up the other items, especially since they have a 30 day pick up policy. They never apologized or offered a refund. They offered me another bowl to repaint, I declined and asked for a refund. Such a bummer, probably wouldn't have been a big deal if you had just contacted me to let me know. It was a Tuesday afternoon when I came here with my niece. It was my first time and my niece's third time. We spent about 2 hours total starting from start to finish. I can't remember the young girl's name (receipt says Kassidy) that helped us that day but she was super nice and explained everything well. We asked her for many colors and she was helpful throughout the entire time. The place was clean and well organized. They have many brushes, sponges, ribbons, tools and colors for you to choose from. But I would've liked to see more stiff brushes. I ended up picking out a jumbo mug w/saucer for $24 and my niece picked a dragon for $32. The studio fee is $9 but on that day, we got a BOGO so I paid $9 for the both of us. Yay! I also saw on their calendar that on certain days they have other specials going on so be sure to check that out. My receipt says pick up will be a week later but I got an email today saying my items are ready for pick up. It's Thursday, so it's only been 2 days! It was our first time here, it was my daughter and I. She was gifted a giftcard for this place, I didn't know what to expect. We've arrived before noon on a Saturday. We were the 2nd person there. The gal (I forgot her name) at the register was so nice to explain to us how the process works. So, we grabbed the pieces that we wanted to paint and settled down on a table. The gal came over and brought us to the paint station, where there were bottles and bottles of different color paints to chose from! She told us it was unlimited paint colors, but she started off by letting us chose like 5 colors. There were different sizes of paint brushes to chose from, so we grabbed a few. We sat down and started painting our pieces. My daughter and I enjoyed it very much! We sat there and painted for almost an hour Lucky we've made good timing, people started to come in and the place was pretty packed within 30 mins. Almost all the tables were taken! It takes about a week for them to fire up the pieces and they email you to let you know when the pieces are done so it can be picked up. My daughter loved it so much, she was asking to come back here again! I would suggest coming early on weekends, as I saw, the place got very busy really fast! read more

My visit with my children was fine until Kris (the owner) approached our table and rudely asks me to put on my mask. The demeanor and response isn't something I would expect from an owner of the business. When asked to put my mask on, I responded... "it's like sitting and eating at a rest". You take your mask off when seated. Kris response, "your not eating" ( In a rude demeanor) Each time I got up to get paint I had my mask on. I took my mask off once I sat down because I was having a tough time breAthing ( understand some of us have health conditions). I'n addition we sat all the way in the back room and one other family was back there but we were a good 6-7 feet away. Learn to be more insensitive! Never would expect that from a business owner. Great place to bring the kids to for some fun painting! This place offers an array of ceramics you can choose from. Price of ceramic ranges by the size you are choosing from. There's also a studio fee of $9 for adults and $7 for children who participate in painting. I came here with my kiddos and painted a plate for a Father's Day gift. It was lots of fun and there are plenty of workers around to assist you in choosing out the colors. They were also generous to help with placing my kid's handprints on the plate! Took 6 kids here ranging from age 3-11 and they all enjoyed it! Our group was kind of loud, and so we were given a table all the way in the back in a private room which I actually appreciated so that I wouldn't have to keep shushing the kids. Of course having so many kids with me - 1 drops a piece from the shelf and breaks it. I appreciated that they only charged me $4 for the broken piece not the listed price. Really disappointed, this place is SO expensive and our pieces were not treated with care, one of the pieces was given to us broken. I would've been okay if the staff was transparent about the pieces ( because things happen) but they were not. I picked up the pieces, wrapped up and in a bag. No heads up, they didn't say anything. I opened them up at home and disappointed to see my nieces face when she saw that her horse was broken, it looks like the horse broke off the bottom and then they tried to put it back together. I love painting but I was always clumsy about throwing pottery on a wheel. Color Me Mine takes out the guesswork and provides sooo many beautiful glazes. I brought my mom and niece to paint with me and both of them loved it. Just need to make sure you get 3 coats of glaze on the piece. It can get pricey but you get a nice piece that you painted yourself. They were great at packing glaze to work on a project at home during the pandemic, too. I was very impressed that they were able to squeeze me in for a session with my niece last minute. When we arrive, they had our table waiting for us and we're very friendly and explaining to my six-year-old niece the process. There were so many different items to choose from, and was difficult to decide what to choose. The day that we arrive, it was very busy. As a matter of fact, it was a little packed. There was a birthday party in the back room, and the front room was filled with Adults as well as moms with children. Mask were not required when we were there. But the tables were pretty spread out not to worry. My only complaint was I wish that they would allow us to have bottles at our tables instead, We were only allowed a certain amount of colors at a time, and would have to walk up each time to have an employee give us the paint. I wish they would allow food for us to eat because you can tend to get hungry when you're focus on your artwork. Otherwise, it was a very fun experience. read more

DAY 1 We went as a get together with my friends. We all chose our pieces and got our paints. Honestly the customer service was a 2 star because they were not very friendly. The woman helping us out with colors or directions on what to do, I got the impression that she didnt want us there. I really did not catch her name. But we stayed anyway and try to enjoy the company of my friends. So everytime I wanted more paint to cover up evenly my mug, she just didnt look to happy to see me asking. After my painted mug was done, I was ready to pay. The woman that rung me up, was friendly. I guess it depends who you are interacting with. My mug was suppose to be done in 5 days. DAY 3 On the 3rd day I called because all my friends got a phone call that theirs were done. I called but they told me my mug got fused in with another item. They told me to call back the next day. DAY 4 I called and they told me to call tomorrow. DAY5 It was done and so I went in. I had a choice to redo the mug or take it as is. I have to say they were nice enough to offer me a RE-DO. But I wanted my mug anyway despite the imperfection. When you create something, sometimes you cannot duplicate it anymore. Overall it was a great experience with friends. I just didnt like the customer service when we got there. The whole fusing in the oven I guess that happens. I was the unfortunate one. They were willing to give me a free REDO. No problem.
