This was my daughter's second visit with her friends, and they absolutely love it. It's a wonderful place for kids to stay active, engaged, and entertained. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and kind, which makes the experience even better. I would highly recommend this place to other families and look forward to returning again in the future.

Color me mine is a fun place to go to when you're feeling crafty. The staff here is helpful. Since it was my first time I was clueless. You pick an item, pick your colors & start painting. After that you pay for your items + a studio fee which is pretty pricey in my opinion. It does take about a week before you can pick up your items.

Easy to call in to reserve a table (norm allocated time is 2 hours but we needed just a bit over 1). A good variety of options to select. The employees help with getting the paint colors & switching out water. It is a bit pricy for the item & studio fee, estimate ~$50/person including tax.

I came here with my friend for a girls date to do something crafty. This is a super cute activity to do with friends, significant others, or kids! They had lots of options to choose from both object wise (vases, plates, mugs, pots etc). and color wise. I chose to paint a flower holder and it turned out so cute! The staff were very nice, they explained the process to us as it was our first time, and the place was kept clean. Would come back and do it again.

I wish I got the name of the girl who helped my boyfriend and I during our visit yesterday. She was so attentive and kind! She made sure we had all the knowledge to make our ideas come to life and always checked up to see if we needed anything. I had a blast and can't wait to pick up our stuff (-:

Choose your colors wisely. This was a good thing to experience and make sure to plan out 1-2 hours for this. I started to get tired of painting. Next time i'ma just do a plate and one color. This is for patient people (lol).

I love painting pottery and being back here brought back such nostalgia! My boyfriend and I came to paint on a rainy day. We were promptly greeted and seated. There are a variety of pieces to choose from with reasonable prices; I ended up choosing a bowl. The staff is super kind and explained everything super well! I enjoyed my time and definitely recommend this location!

Cute place! Looking forward to seeing one in Sacramento. Took around 5 days to go pick it up after we finished painting.

Fun activity for family and friends. There's a large variety of colors and staff are nice.

It's a fun activity for friends and family. There are lots of colors and staff are friendly. You need to come here at least 2 hours prior to closing though. You may think that you won't need long but time flies by very fast. $10 studio fee and my butterfly was $36. Paid a total of $50 after tax.

Had a really fun time here with friends. The staff are super helpful and all materias are accessible. Definitely worth the price, and make sure to reserve a space ahead of time

I've been trying to do new things with my kids during their summer break. We found this place and wanted to give it a try. We walked in as soon as they opened at 1:00 on a Tuesday and we got a table. They do take reservations. They have a $9 studio fee per person. This includes all of the supplies which is paint, brushes, etc. They also glaze and put your item in a kiln. The prices are different for each item. We got a salad plate which was $17, medium round box $23 and a waffle cone bowl $16. After you pick your item, you go up to the paint desk and can pick up to five different colors. You can go up as many times as you want for additional paint if you need it. The employees were very helpful. They came around changing out our water and giving us napkins. We didn't feel rushed at all. We had a great experience. We will definitely come back. After you finish you pay and then they give you a date to come back for your items. The only problem I had was when I picked up my items on our pick up date. Only half my order was ready. I don't live close to this location so not being notified my items weren't finished was very annoying. I had to make an additional trip the following day to pick up the other half. The employees did apologize but I wish someone would've notified me.

I'm so disappointed in my experience here. My cousins and I came here to celebrate a birthday, and we painted 3 items. They told us we would be contacted within 5-7 days to pick up our items. I hadn't heard back and it had been almost 3 weeks, so I called them and they said, "oh we didn't contact you because there was an incident and one of your items shattered." I don't understand why they wouldn't contact me to pick up the other items, especially since they have a 30 day pick up policy. They never apologized or offered a refund. They offered me another bowl to repaint, I declined and asked for a refund. Such a bummer, probably wouldn't have been a big deal if you had just contacted me to let me know. The way they handled everything was pretty shady.

I spent 4 hours here making a plate/bowl. Used to go to the old location as a kid. Definitely a bit pricey, but I'm only here every few years as it's a fun activity!

I came in during a weekday afternoon and was able to decompress. Their pottery item selection is pretty versatile and the employees are very helpful if you need any assistance. I love that they have a "stay as long as you want" policy and I was told you can also bring your item home and come back another time to finish if needed too. Most of the pottery items range from about $22+. Considering it is a women owned + local small business, I am all for supporting it. Would love if they begin to offer a stamp card or possibly a monthly membership/program!

Petroglyph Ceramic Lounge is located inside the Pavilions on Fair Oaks Blvd next to Piatti. We walked inside and it was pretty busy, but they had plenty of space and lots of seating. We put our names in and they told us it would be about an hour before we would be able to sit and paint - so we walked around and checked out all of the ceramic options available. They had so many cute options from bowls, to mugs, to piggy banks, to jewelry boxes to platters - I could go on and on! All ranging in different sizes and pricing! For the 4 of us, we decided on a cute set of Valentine's Day gnomes, a fairy jewelry box, a donut jewelry box and a big cafe mug. All paints, paintbrushes, stencils, etc. are included in the painting fee which is $15 per adult and $13 per child. Between the 4 of us and all of our choices, it was just shy of $200 so you're looking at roughly $50 a person which is a lot, but you also don't have a time limit on how long you can stay and with our party of 4, I think we were close to almost 2 hours. Once you are done painting, they will take your ceramic and it will go in the kiln during the week. You will need to come back on whatever day they tell you for pick up - for us, it is this Wednesday after 4pm. Overall, we had a great time at Petroglyph Ceramic Lounge! This is perfect for a birthday party, Sunday Funday or even a date night. We will absolutely be returning soon! I highly recommend making a reservation though if you can!

She chose the clay art activity with a "Sea Friends" theme because it sounded creative and exciting for the kids, but the actual experience did not meet expectations at all. There were only three very simple animal designs offered, which was far too limited for a two-hour birthday party and not engaging enough to keep the children interested. The employees assisting with the activity did not appear to be properly trained to host or manage a children's party. Their instructions were unclear, they spoke very softly, and there was little enthusiasm or interaction with the kids. The atmosphere felt dull and unorganized instead of fun and energetic like a birthday celebration should be. Many of the children lost interest quickly because there was no excitement, guidance, or effort to keep them engaged. What was most disappointing was that, despite booking a two-hour party, the actual clay activity lasted only around 40 minutes. After that, there was very little for the kids to do, leaving them bored and restless for most of the remaining time. As a parent spending money to create a memorable milestone birthday for my daughter, I expected a much better-planned and professionally hosted experience. I chose this place hoping it would create happy memories for my daughter and her friends, but instead it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience for both the kids and the parents attending the party.
