Lots of kids and venues to play with. A lot of kids running around having fun is great. I bought a small pizza for $12.00 plus a $9.00 package just to jump on trampoline. Plus ice cream = $31.00 total. Everything has become way too expensive. It should be inclusive when you already have a game card. Wouldn't you agree? I would not recommend this establishment to my worst enemy. The management, specifically Vanessa, is dishonest and dangerously indifferent. When a stranger struck my child, the front-line staff rightly advised her to call the police; however, Vanessa refused to take action. She seemed to believe her only responsibility was to file a report--one she didn't even intend to finish until I confronted her about her poor work ethic and lack of integrity. Even after the police arrived, Vanessa made no effort to cooperate or gather the necessary information for the store's records. I actually had to inform the officers myself, who then had to prompt her to get the tablet and complete the report. The Highlights and Lowlights: * The Hero: The thin woman with glasses and dark hair deserves a raise. She recognized that the situation was escalating and tried to help, unlike her superior. * The Manager: Vanessa stood by idly while we were being yelled at. She showed zero concern and actually sided with the couple involved. * The Incident: The other customer's wife struck my child. When I demanded an apology for my son, she refused, and Vanessa did nothing to support us or trespass the individuals. You are taking a massive risk by bringing your family here. This place is Dirty, games don't work, the racing games lagged so bad, we won a jackpot on one of the games and the gaming attendant tried to lie and said we didn't play the game to win it. The tickets we won were less than what the jackpot stated on the game itself but they didn't issue us what we were supposed to win and blamed it on the glitched game and told us not to play it anymore. Sorry, but own up to it and give Whats due. The food here sucks as well. Their salad bar got weak since they took out so much toppings, and their fries are a disgrace to the potato family. My kids had a blast! We have never been before we went this past weekend for a birthday party but as others have described it this place is pure chaos. But not necessarily in a bad way. Another mom we were with described it like being at a club we were too sober for. I thought this was a fitting description--kids running everywhere, lights and sounds from all directions from the big screen playing kids bop music videos to all the games and rides on the floor to the lit up dance floor where Chuck E in costume was teaching the birthday kiddos a dance. There is a lot of fun to be had here! I didn't think my young kids would be that into the games but the card play passes made it easy for them to run around and play whatever they wanted. You do have to pay extra for a wristband to access the trampolines and soft play area but it was worth it. Food we did not buy but was provided by the party hosts and it as decent...they honestly had a good variety for a one stop shop. We will definitely be back at some point as our kiddos loved it and I found it very age appropriate for them (they are 1, 4, and 6). read more

Chaos is the word I use to describe this place. There never seems to be order or organization and the workers never seem as though they want to be there. I will say this location is bigger, cleaner and run a lot better than the Arden location. I have never been a fan of their pizza so I won't order any but the salad bar always looks inviting. I think I'll try it next time I visit. My 5 year old daughter and I have gone 3 times in the last 2 months and this last time she was over it a lot faster than I thought. She said the games are boring now. Also, she was able to jump on the trampolines at the Arden location without having to get Chuck E Cheese socks and a wristband like the Elk Grove location. For me it's too expensive spending $40 on an hour of play (I know I should have gotten a play pass) since some of the games last literally 20 seconds and that's if it's working. Disappointed on my recent experience at Chuck E Cheese. Was there on a Sunday afternoon with my son and was having a good time playing games, until I noticed 3 young gentleman standing near us just having a full blown conversation. Didn't think anything of it until I realized they were workers on the gaming floor. I thought, "okay, they are just going to have a quick conversation", but instead, they started playing on the basketball game near where my son was playing. This was a pretty packed day and I could understand if these workers were on break, but I'm confused why they would be on the gaming area talking out loud to each other with CHILDREN around them. (I have photos of this as I was taking a picture of my son and these 3 guys were right behind him, but not posting due to privacy reasons. To the manager of this location, if you wish to see, please DM me.) After my son and I moved to another game, I saw one of them again "cleaning a table" but while clearly flirting with a young girl. (I found out later that she was also a worker but was off the clock.) I didn't want to bring up this review, but I saw that same girl clearly talking about my Mother who had let the manager know that she watched those two have over a 30-40 minute interaction by the same two tables she was near, to different male co-worker WHILE seated on one of the booths that is exposed since it is near the bathroom area. Recently had a birthday party here for one of my kids. When we arrived, the customer service was prompt and surpassed my expectations. Our party host was very attentive and was on top of everything. She made our party feel special even though there were many other parties going and things happening. Her customer service alone would be reason for 5 stars. Wish I had remembered her name to give her a shout out but I hope the manager is able to figure it out. The pizza also came out on time, was hot, and delicious. Obviously it's not a top tier pizza but it was well made and the kids liked it. The only reason I'm dinging a star is because a fair amount of games weren't working and the place was a bit sticky/messy. I understand it's busy and there's a lot going on but I don't want to have sticky hands after playing a game or the seat of my pants are wet cause of a spilled soda that hasn't been wiped up. We took our grandson during the winter break. We got there shortly before 11am since they open at 11. We met our friend. We ordered a pizzas as soon as we got there and it would be ready. Staff were friendly. One of the cards was stuck on one of the games and the employee was very helpful helping us getting it out. It was getting crowded after having our pizza but was still manageable for my 6 year old grandson to still have fun. The games sometimes break and eat your points, make sure you flag an employee to give you back the points (they can see every transaction on your card). Personally think the trampoline is expensive for such a small area but to each their own. "All you can jump" is $15 with game purchase or $25 without game purchase. You need nonslip socks. The pizza is terrible, go to Creasian instead. The kids love this place and it isn't too bad when you go during non-busy hours. We got scammed at this location! My wife went to order pizza while I took the kids to play. I got a notification from my bank app saying $50+ had been charged. A few moments later, my wife came by and told me that my card was declined so she had to pay cash. I went back to the register and the cashier continued to insist I was not charged. The manager was summoned and told me I had to call corporate. I stared at her and asked if she really wanted to take it that far. She took a few seconds and said she would provide a refund back to my card. The scam was to charge it on the card, tell the customer that the charge didn't work and then proceed to collect cash. The cash would go to the cashier's pocket and no one would be any wiser. read more

Been here a few times including kids bday parties. One of our go to stop with kids that's still wholesome. Love their addition to trampoline and it's fairy priced though it's small but keep little ones busy & tired after 2 hours. I'm always impressed by their enter/exit process bc it ensures safety of the kids. We walked in and she greeted us with friendliness that instantly set a positive tone for my visit. Denise was incredibly patient and attentive, helping us get set up and even suggesting the Fun Pass, which turned out to be the best decision ever -- my kids had an absolute blast! She suggested the silver pass for my 2 boys. She checked in a few times to make sure everything was going smoothly, which I really appreciated. I rarely come across someone who truly loves what they do, but Denise absolutely does. Her kindness, energy, and customer service went above and beyond. Plenty of staff and workers around to help and answer questions. The games seem to be a bit dated or overused/abused. Found a lot of games/machines not working and out of service. Cheese for my Birthday Party and having a blast, so when my daughter was invited to her friend's birthday party my fiancé and I were excited for her to be able to experience it! The party package came with E Tickets, party decorations, dinnerware, Party Hats, a Collectable Cup that's now my daughter's favorite, Chuck E. Goody Bags, her favorite was the fun shudder shading glasses! Food wise they served Pizza, Dippin' Dots and a Vanilla Sheet Cake with the Chuck E. edible image, she completely devoured her slice lol! They served unlimited soda as well, but I asked for water, since my daughter is only 5 and I don't drink soda. My daughter and the twins, along with their guests had a blast and want to return! I came here for a kid's birthday party (4-6 year olds). This was by far the worst kids "fun" place I've visited in the past year. At least the kids had fun playing with themselves (and not due to the store). The games were so, so, so, so bad. Half of the games were broken. The most popular game was the coin-dropping machine, and there were adults hogging it for 30+ minutes at a time. 4 out of the 6 coin-dropping machines were BROKEN. Most of the games were too short and only lasted 5-20 seconds for a single play. We had to constantly rescan our unlimited-play badge every 10 seconds. It was very expensive: $34 for 60 minutes or $31 for 60 points. The bathroom floor was sticky. The bathroom fan was very hard to use and not kid-friendly. The $30 bounce house was the only good part of Chuck E Cheese, and it was a tiny bounce house that was only worth $10. read more

I feel torn. Where do I begin? Chuck E. Cheese is a childhood staple of mine. It's one of the few remaining relics of my generation that still stands today. Yeah, the tokens are gone and have been replaced with Play Cards. But, nonetheless, it's an experience I can share with my children. My kids are 12 & 11. It's really only my son who still continues to ask to go to Chuck E. Cheese. Our CEC days are almost over, I can feel it. So any chance we get to visit, we try to go. This year, CEC rolled out their Homeschool Play Days. They occur on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. For a special price, each child gets 90 minutes of unlimited play, unlimited drinks and a free Play Card. This is from 11am to 4pm. So, as a homeschooling family, we decided to go earlier today to partake in the special pricing. Gripe 1- They need more staffing. At almost every visit, we have to wait by the entrance because there is no one there to give each person a hand stamp. This also applies when it's time to leave. CEC is supposed to check to make sure the adults leaving with the child share the same hand stamp. This is for safety reasons. It's one thing having to wait to enter, but it's entirely another to have to wait to leave. I'm not going to stand around waiting for someone to notice me and my kids so we can exit the building. Deuces! Gripe 2- I understand that October is only the 2nd month of this Homeschool Play Day, however, better training needs to be made for the staff. Initially, were being helped by a young woman, but were given over to the manager\supervisor once they heard me say we were there for Homeschool Play Day. No biggie as I figured not everyone knows how to process the transaction. The manager asked for my card. I initially thought he meant a card to show proof of homeschooling. I grabbed my bag and asked what specifically he needed. "Your Play Pass Card," he says. I apologized and said "Sorry, I left them at home I didn't think we needed them." We were charged for Play Cards. I also didn't receive any cups for drinks. After we got settled in, I checked the CEC website to confirm what comes with Homeschool Play Day. I was correct- it comes with a free Play Card and a cup for unlimited drinks. I wasn't going to get back in line to ask for a refund. The time wasn't worth it to me. Gripe 3- The kids wanted to check how many tokens they won so we went to the area where you exchange tokens for prizes. There was a man with his child being helped. We were next. After they were serviced, the CEC staff member left and went to the back. We waited a couple of minutes. I looked around and saw 2 staff members notice we were waiting at the prize counter. Neither called to request for additional help. We waited one more minute and bounced. It's disappointing what Chuck E. Cheese has become. The people who work there lack energy. I don't know how else to explain it. It's like they just woke up from a nap and are dragging their feet to get through the day. We'll probably try again next month and see if anything changes. read more

We've been to Chuck E. Cheese several times for birthday parties and last-minute fun. Parking is typically fairly easy to find as they're in a large shopping center. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Like many places, sometimes they're stretched thin, but most do their best to take care of the guests. Daniela, Denise, Maxine, and Priscilla are always amazing to our family, and they're clearly great ambassadors for the brand and amazing employees. We purchased the gold summer fun pass. In a nutshell, you can play up to 250 games daily, additional credits are 50% off, and nearly all of their food is 50% off as well. It's easy to redeem using their app on your Android or Apple device. Pro tip to save money if you're a Sam's Club member. They regularly sell gift cards for 25% off and up to 30% off during promos. You can use those gift cards for any everyday purchases. The only thing they're not applicable to is birthday parties. Be sure to buy the souvenir soda cups as you receive free refills on them for the life of the cup. The arcade area is typically fairly clean. I am sure to always have our girls wash and sanitize their hands before eating or before we leave. The restrooms are typically pretty well maintained. The pizzas are always decent, and the salad bad is always clean, fresh, and well maintained. Our girls have had an amazing time here countless times throughout the summer. We're going to look into signing up for the monthly fun pass beginning next year. It's similar to the summer pass, but it's $29.99 monthly and requires a 12 month commitment. read more

I had to use hand sanitizer every step of the way. It felt like a covid brewing house. This place was ok. Definitely needed an employee to hover and clean, sanitize, etc. The food was ok. He runs a successful operation. Some may not think of how much it takes to run a kids entertainment facility. Welp. Of course having a little kid, you want to give them the Chuck E. Cheese experience. We've been here plenty of times before just so our son can have some fun and of course, he always does. They recently remodeled the place and it really doesn't some much of a big difference. Big screen instead of a a stage, TV's in just about every direction but nobody is really watching them. The trampoline area seemed like it would be fun for our son but there was never anybody there to let him in the area and we were at Chuck E. Cheese for a good 2 and a half hours. The customer service was okay kind of seemed like nobody really wanted to be there and got weird stares from some employees while eating. Most games we wanted to do were out of service. But I can say my 6 year old son did have an okay time, he was disappointed that he couldn't go in the new trampoline area and he was disappointed most of the games weren't functioning. My daughter celebrated her 7th birthday at this Chuck E Cheese establishment yesterday and from the moment we arrived the party was seamless. Our server Megan was truly a pleasure, she was knowledgeable and an asset. My daughter has Autism and she went out of her way to ensure comfort for her sensory needs. You can tell she loves what she does. Larry is a class act! He is funny, a true gentleman and comedian and we will be visiting again! Hands down a great place to "let kids be kids". It was difficult getting a table because of all the parties that were happening but it turned out that we didn't need one because our kids were bouncing from game to game. I was afraid that wouldn't be enough but we were there almost, if not, 3 hours and my daughter still had 15 tokens left on her card. I'm really disappointed with the employees attitude here. We purchased a pizza and my son didn't want pepperoni and the employee "Told" us that the only other option is just cheese pizza. After getting the pizza, we noticed that the pizza we ordered comes with one topping. Also the bottom of the pizza that we got was burnt. When I brought it up to the employee she shrugged and said I don't know and walked away and showed no remorse for the mistake.
