The experience was good and not so good. I joined a group of book lovers are part of our February activity. The good is that it was a blast getting to create something so individually unique with a fun group while discussing out favorite hobby. It was the first time for a lot of us and instructions were clearly explained so that we understood what would give us the best results. There are a lot of colors, tools, and other items that you can use to make your piece truly your own. The not so good was the customer service. I don't know if it was because we were a large group, but the individual that was initially set to assist us with explanations and gathering our paint seemed to be put out and not happy to help. She wasn't really available to us as we had questions come up as we started painting our pieces. It wasn't until later where another individual seemed to take over that the mood shifted. She was very attentive and helpful. She came and checked up on us a few times. I regret not getting her name but she was exceptional. She was the saving grace for the experience. Overall, a fun experience that I can see myself doing again with friends for a girls night, and something to do on date night with my husband. I'm still waiting for my piece to be completed so I'm excited to see it when it's ready.

We had team building experience here and we had a lot of fun. My coworker comes here often and said this is the only location that doesnt limit how many colors you choose. Six was plenty for me to be honest. I had something simple though, a sunflower. I doubled up on one color because I hate getting up every five mins to get more colors. the color plate doesnt hold a lot of paint. After you're done painting, there's a waiting period for them to bake the items. You come back a week or two later to pick it up. They will let you know when ready. Prices were fair. The bigger the item, the more it cost. One thing to complain. They put too much glaze on my sunflower dish and it made bubbles and cumulate at the corners but thats ok, I don't take this too seriously. It was a fun experience.

I had so much fun for my birthday! Perfect date spot too and quick turn around when it came to getting our pottery back!

This was a fun activity to paint something and take home something useful. There's a whole bunch of different pottery items on the shelf that you can choose, ranging from animals to utensils to garden items. Each item is priced differently. After selecting the item you want to paint, you choose your favorite colors and then get to work. You're suppose to apply three coats of paint, so it will probably take you about two hours to finish. You'll have to wait about two weeks for them to glaze and fire the pottery. It's a fun activity for both kids and adults. PRICING: You have to make a reservation (2 hours at the studio) The studio fee is $10 and on average, the price of the item you pick is $25. They also have you pay tip as well, so it'll add up to roughly $50 for this activity.

This is after our stuff was fired!

It was my birthday weekend. My mother was visiting and we needed something to do. We spent forever picking our pieces, the football and container was mine.

Had such an amazing first experience here! Got a chance to have some fun with pottery and painting! They have a really nice selection of already made pottery! You pick your piece or pieces and get to work! Customer service was great! Looking forward to receiving the final product! 1. Make a reservation 2. Select your pottery 3. Choose your 6 colors of paint 4. Get to going 5. Leave it there 6. Pay 7. They will call you once it's sealed 8. Leave smiling

Our wet unfinished pieces

We came from 2 hours out of town to do this and made a reservation. Nobody told us that there was a time limit or even gave us a heads up that there was another reservation coming soon. We just suddenly had to get up and leave because someone else needed our table. Had to pay for the studio fee even though our pieces aren't being fired We are very upset that we now have expensive pottery that we can't use. If we had been given a warning that our time was up we would've gone with simpler designs or at least had a chance with finish up quickly

my creation for today

Really fun experience overall, it's very calm so you truly get to focus on your piece and if you're with friends it's more fun because y'all can concentrate and be in the moment together also you get to have something unique only you have !!! definitely recommend and will be coming back

I love this little "paint your own" pottery place! You get to choose the piece you would like to paint. I would recommend making a reservation especially on the weekends (sometimes they might not take walk-ins). Before you sit down, you'll be directed to the shelves full of unglazed pottery to choose from. There are seasonal pieces available around various holidays. I went in mid- November and they had Hanukkah and Christmas pottery on display. The Halloween collection was about 50% off so you can certainly take advantage of discounts after the holiday rushes! There were an array of choices to choose from, including coasters, mugs, plates, and candle display pieces. Each piece is priced differently, and you can choose as many as you'd like. You'd pay for the pieces you painted at the end and the studio fee (separate). I picked a smaller piece and it still took me about 1.5 hours to paint it! The artists that work here are so nice! You can choose as many colors as you'd like and request as many refills of glaze as you'd like as well. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to find a cool art outlet!

1st and foremost, the girl (I mean girl) helping explained nothing that we understood. she spoke…read morefast / talked as if we knew what she was talking about and would just walk away as we are still trying to understand. we made cut glass bowls and once a man came over and really helped us to understand what we were doing. the girl never told us half of the products available to us to use and left us asking ourselves questions. we had to fill out an index card with our information on it (i was guessing they would call us when ready) but never did. i just called the girl that answered the phone said yes its ready, never asked my name, never asked when I came in and stated we don't text or call anyone when the projects are ready. for what we spent ( I spent as it was my friends bday) was not even close to the service we were given and I will never go back there again and I will tell everyone I know my experience.
