I chose to paint my dog and my girlfriend chose to do a vase! My recommendation would be if you're new to painting, choose something with a shape i.e. a dog, lucky cat, or garden gnome. This makes it easier and takes the stress away of creating something completely original. If you're looking to be more creative and have more time and experience, try creating something original on a simple solid piece such as a plate, mug, jewelry box, etc. Paint options here are awesome! There is a stone tablet that shows how all the colors will appear after glazing as well! The turnaround time is quite short only 1 week. (We're still waiting for ours lol) My one gripe is that the brushes here are incredibly worn out. It's hard to get good details when the brushes aren't good quality. The explanation was easy to understand and the tools were cute. The pricing goes either by hour or by board, whichever is lesser. We opted for two small boards and one medium board. There is a wide variety of colors for selection as well as different transparencies. Since we were new to perler beads, our start was a little slow but eventually we got the hang of it. At one point, I reached a dilemma. I wanted to make Momonga but she wouldn't fit in the remaining space of my board. Just then, the instructor came by and chatted with me. I told her my dilemma and after a brief moment, she suggested making the tail in the empty corner of my board and later attach it by jump ring. Brilliant. I noticed she often checked up on people's projects, answered questions, and chatted with them about the characters they were making (both for my group and the tufting group behind us). She dropped by to show me the perler Momonga her coworker made (very cute!). Later, she came back excited, and showed me another idea I could use for Momonga's tail. She showed me a pivot attachment that would make it so the tail would be attached in the back and swing around. She asked if I wanted to try this instead. Yes thank you, it's absolutely perfect!! I wish I got the instructor's name but I was too shy to ask at the end (agh). She was so kind, helpful, and relatable. She really made my crafting experience great and I'm so happy to have had her on my birthday!!

Just a very chill vibe to get your creativity juices flowing. My friends had signed up for a rug…read moretufting session, but we also saw some people assembling tiny beads together into an image. They let me stick around even though I hadn't signed up, so I just took pictures of the process. For the tufting session, you pick a flat image of what you want to make ahead of time. The instructor then will give advice on how to go about putting together your creation. After that, you link the image to the projector and it projects onto your canvas. You then outline the image. Then comes the fun part: the tufting tutorial. The instructor spends about thirty minutes teaching everyone how to use the tufting gun and then has each person practice on a large canvas. After that, you pick your yarn color and tuft away! Apparently, it took four hours for my friends to complete their tufted rugs, but they turned out so cute! They even stayed open past closing hours to let my friends finish. We need more artistic spaces like this.

The instructor was very fun and really willing to help out and inspire. 5 stars. The second workshop i took, just this Sunday, was not great at all. It was a mosaic class and it might as well have been self led. The instructor gave us a brief 3-5 min tutorial on how to place the tiles and then did nothing else except sorted tiles the whole time. She never came around to see how we were doing or if we needed help. We had to keep asking her to come over if we had a question and she didn't really offer too much. She never told us what color we could use, and kept coming over and collecting the extra tiles as we were working. She didn't help us finish up and left before we were done. It was super disappointing.

They have a small selection of snacks and drinks for purchase, but still a nice option. It's a clean environment and the young staff are very friendly. Music is often playing in the background while you concentrate on your painting. My only recommendation for improvement is to provide a more sturdy plate or tray for the paint. Currently customers just squirt the paint on a card stock paper (similar to the size of a large index card) and are supposed to take that back to the table for painting pottery. It would feel much more secure and sturdy to carry with an actual tray or paper plate for the paint. I also felt like the paint was dripping off the edges of the paper since there was no lip and paint colors kept merging together since the paper index card wasn't laying flat. They also could have offered a few more paint color options. All in all, it was a great experience and so nice to have a crafty activity close to home. Pottery is usually ready for pick up within 1 week. Candles are ready to be taken home same-day.

There were only three very simple animal designs offered, which was far too limited for a two-hour birthday party and not engaging enough to keep the children interested. The employees assisting with the activity did not appear to be properly trained to host or manage a children's party. Their instructions were unclear, they spoke very softly, and there was little enthusiasm or interaction with the kids. The atmosphere felt dull and unorganized instead of fun and energetic like a birthday celebration should be. Many of the children lost interest quickly because there was no excitement, guidance, or effort to keep them engaged. What was most disappointing was that, despite booking a two-hour party, the actual clay activity lasted only around 40 minutes. After that, there was very little for the kids to do, leaving them bored and restless for most of the remaining time. As a parent spending money to create a memorable milestone birthday for my daughter, I expected a much better-planned and professionally hosted experience. I chose this place hoping it would create happy memories for my daughter and her friends, but instead it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience for both the kids and the parents attending the party.
