Since one opened up, closer to home, I was on the fence about actually coming due to not so positive reviews through word of mouth. Since my daughter was invited to celebrate a birthday here, it gave us a reason to check it out for ourselves. Parking is great. The most convenient location would be access through Entrance #5. Not only is there plenty of parking spots but neighboring is the parking garage. Waivers must be signed prior to being able to access all the fun. Altitude socks are 100% required to enter into the trampoline|play area- regardless if you are a parent who plans on simply supervising. Annoying, YES!! This is just another way for them to cash in on some more bucks! The staff makes their rounds and will approach anyone who has non Altitudes socks on and ask that you leave the play area or direct you to the front where you can purchase a pair for yourself. 3 stars. The play area is spacious and clean but the layout is different from the Monterey location [which I prefer]. The play area located on the far right, seen upon entering, was completely blocked off and was not accessible to any of the visitors. Last but not least, the sock situation is a bit of overkill IMO. If I was accompanying an older kid, it wouldn't be a big deal to allow them to roam and play themselves but that isn't the case with toddlers. MEH.

I have always felt completely comfortable leaving my son in their care and knowing that he was somewhere he was safe, cared for, and truly belonged. That has meant more to our family than they probably realize, especially because our experience in this area has unfortunately included consistent racism and exclusion. In fact, that is the reason our family has decided to move away. Otherwise, my son would absolutely still be coming here. We will forever appreciate the kindness they have shown our son and the wonderful experience they have given him over the years. The process is fairly simple, you go in and pick your ceramic pieces to paint. Each ceramic piece has a different cost, and then there is a fee charged on top of that per painter. You get unlimited paints and tools to use, as well as unlimited time for painting. When you are done, you leave it with the front desk to fire up and pick up the finished result several days later. Would totally come here again for date night, girls night, or just a family activity. It is very group friendly. You can also come here solo if you've got some down time.

Contacting via email with the team was seamless when asking for a discounted price and ensuring our reservation was confirmed. Going in meeting our instructor, Jamie, was great. She was very chill & let our creativity speak. She was very helpful when it came to teaching and explaining. Her lamps were super cute ! The lamp making itself is worth the cost, you come out with a beautiful piece of art that you created. Once you turn the light on the design looks amazing, even if you originally think differently ! As for the minor improvements. We had to call to figure out how to get in. They said they we should have gotten an email about how to enter, but we did not. The other party that came in also didn't get instructions. So we walked the whole square. Entrance will be the gate closest to the main parking lot, on your right. Ask the staff for the code before going in. Also, DO NOT park in that parking lot or you will be towed. The signs were so small, we didn't know but Jamie informed us. Plenty of street parking ! Last, no Turkish coffee or sweets were offered though it said they were on the website. Not a huge deal breaker, but just don't advertise it. Other than that, great experience. Would come back to try a different craft event !!!

The moss art was a fun idea but I do wish they had more variety of moss and things to place. Not sure if it was because they weren't prepared for our class and didn't have all the materials or if materials are always this limited. With the limited about of material it felt pretty restricting to what you can create. Our working area was also had pretty limited lighting. They also only had power on once side of the table. We did our class with another couple so there as 4 of us total. With only having power one 1 side of the table 2 people had to glue there items on a chair and couldn't work from the table.

The instructors were amazing. Super thorough when explaining the process, and attentive when we had questions. They checked on everyone periodically and inspected our work throughout, to make sure we were shaping and creating our rings appropriately. It was really nice of them to take photos of us throughout the whole class as well. They got us at various stages of the ring making process and shared the photos with us afterward. So fun! From what my son described and from my conversations with staff, a significant portion of the day appeared to be unstructured free play. While there was some instruction related to the weekly topic, much of the day seemed to involve activities such as playing with Legos and socializing. My son reported spending only one to two hours on the advertised AI-related activities. Another concern was the lack of transparency regarding daily activities. Parents were not permitted to observe the program, and when I asked staff for a detailed breakdown of the curriculum and daily schedule, I was unable to get a clear explanation of what the children were learning or accomplishing throughout the week. My son also mentioned that children ate lunch on the floor and that there were ants present in the eating area, which raised concerns about cleanliness and supervision. When I contacted the camp to discuss my concerns, I did not feel that they were adequately addressed. Instead of receiving specific information about the program, I was told that other children were enjoying themselves. While it's great that children are having fun, I enrolled my son in this camp because it was marketed as an educational experience, and I expected a stronger academic component for the price. As a result, I chose to withdraw my son from the program. Unfortunately, I was unable to obtain a refund. As someone who is far from an artist--I can barely manage stick figures--and who doesn't practice meditation, I found the sessions incredibly relaxing. Watching myself create 'art' by choosing and applying colors, seeing them flow across the canvas under my control, was immensely satisfying. The absence of any need to conform to mainstream definitions of art was a revelation I never knew I needed. I enjoyed the freedom to create without pressure. Overall, Crystal, was a joy to work with. She provided all the necessary materials, explained the concept clearly, and then allowed everyone to explore it at their own pace. FlowHaus was such an awesome experience!! Crystal, the owner, offers so many different and unique…read moreexperiences at her studio--everything from fluid art on canvas and cool figurines to a mental wellness session using tactile finger painting. There are just so many cool and different activities to choose from! I tried both the fluid art experience on canvas and the "bear brick" figurines in the sip and drip session, as well as the mental wellness exercise on canvas. Both were quite different but super relaxing, calming, and just plain fun. I'm not naturally super artistic, but Crystal makes it all fun and light with no pressure. The pieces I created came alive right before my eyes. The fluid nature of the art really let me "let it flow," and Crystal's prompts and guidance on creating something display-worthy were perfect--not too overbearing or stressful. The great thing was I was able to meet other like-minded individuals and groups in my session and was able to see their beautiful and creative creations as well! I definitely want to do this again and bring a friend or five :) It's a fun idea for a date night or a friends' sip and drip party! I might even bring my work group here for a team-building event!!
