My grandkids had a blast. They stayed focused and loved all the color choices and stamps. We stayed for about 1 1/2 hours.

Been here three times over the last few years and each time was such a fun and chill experience, I had to give Color Me Mine a review! First come first serve basis. Never had to wait but by 2pm on the weekends the tables fill up. If you don't finish they can save it for you to come back another time. I would recommend blocking out 2.5 - 3 hours for this activity. Pottery pieces span the walls to choose from, ranging from $20 - $50 from what I've seen, depending on the size and detail. The pieces are always different. They do have a dedicated "green section" for people to paint pieces for their preferred herb - which surprised me as I thought this was a kid-centric space (pipes to water pipes). Walking to choose one can feel a little cramped tbh. Service is always friendly and they help you setup the paint while you are gathering your brushes. I have to note, they do play some good music with top 100 along with rap/RnB classics, which helped me get into the zone lol.

Came here with my family - parents, the 4 siblings, one of my sisters fiancé and my bf. No reservations needed and there is no time limit on how long you can be there. We all picked out our pieces - prices will vary, chose what paints we wanted with the numbers above each color selected so we would know which one to use for refill. Our girl helping at our table was pretty soft spoken so we couldn't hear very well on the instructions but we figured it out. They have stencils, stamps etc. for you to use. My bf came to pick them up a few days later and they turned out AMAZING! They were also packaged and bubble wrapped with care. Looking forward to the next visit!

Really great double date activity! Good: - The variety and optionality is awesome - there are so many things to paint and getting set up is super easy - The staff are incredibly organized and it felt like they had run through the instructions hundreds of times - There are so many paints to choose from! - The place is really quiet and good for catching up but also for getting good painting done in silence - Decently cheap too! Great value. Bad: - There are very little instructions for how to get started and what to paint so if anything, know what you want to do before you get there! Overall this was a fun activity to do with my friends!

I recommend calling ahead if you have your heart set on painting. They host birthday parties that sometimes reserve the whole place. Otherwise it's first come first serve with no reservations taken. They have a decent number of pieces but not as wide of a selection as some other locations. There's a $12 studio fee per person plus the cost of your piece which can be pricey. I spent over $90 for 2 people and 2 cups/mugs. The nice thing is you can paint to your hearts delight. Depending on what you're painting this activity can take several hours so plan accordingly. Overall it's a fun way to pass an afternoon.

My daughters love going to Color Me Mine! We usually go when their Auntie visits, but have also booked birthday parties with them and also attended summer camps in the past. The gal who helped us recently was so kind and patient. We enjoyed picking out our special ceramic piece to paint. There's a ton of colors and tools to choose from. Our ceramic pieces were glazed and ready for pick up in less than 2 weeks.

Came in on 2/12/2025 to do a little family art therapy. It was our first time here and Jessie and Nick were so sweet and nice to my family and I. They walked us through everything and was throughly explaining to us how everything works. Definitely a fun place if you are looking for something fun to do. Check them out if you are ever near by.

Had a blast at Color Me Mine this weekend. Yuri was awesome, friendly and helpful as we were first timers. Great colors and options of stuff to paint. Nice clean store and friendly staff. It's a little pricey, but it's not like you paint pottery often, so it wasn't a big deal. Had a good time, would definitely take the kids or nieces and nephews back for fun couple of hours doing something with no screen time.

This is my second time going to color me mine and the first time I went to the one in daly city! I got a mini flower pot for about 26 dollars and each person is 10 dollars on top of what you want to get painted. You can get unlimited paint which was nice and the there was plenty of seating. The staff were lovely and really nice which I enjoyed!

We had a great time at CMM!! We went down last minute for a fun valentines activity and it worked great. You can't make reservations ahead of time unless you're a big group or private event, but there was plenty of room for us. We got to choose which clay piece we wanted to paint and they had a lot of variety! Several of us opted for plates that we plan to use in traditions with our future families. The staff were kind and helpful and were thoughtful when we accidentally broke something. Great spot, good fun, would refer.

Came on a Thursday at around 4PM and it was empty! It was really nice to have the whole space to ourselves. It was really relaxing and fun to paint for hours here with no one else! The workers here are super nice and friendly. They were always super helpful throughout the time we were there. I painted a skateboard and it was around $30 and the studio fee is $10 per person. I'm going to come back in a week to pick it back up. I would definitely come back to this location if I want to paint something again!

Usually I am not the one to leave bad reviews but our experience here was unacceptable to the point…read morewhere I had to. Initially, we had a great experience! We came here last month to paint 2 bowls which cost us only ~$76 total for the studio time and bowls themselves. And, before anyone says anything and blames us, YES we did a double coat of paint! Then, we came a week later to pick them up and in the moment, they looked good! Then once we got home, we realized that there was a little paint chip on one of the bowls, making it no longer food safe. Granted, we probably should have noticed this ourselves when we picked up the bowls but we believe it is also the employees' responsibility to perform a quality check before giving a product to a paying customer?! Instead, they didn't say a word when we picked it up the first time so we had to notice the defect ourselves and drive all the way back from the east bay to get it fixed. After coming back to get it fixed, we came back yet another time to pick up the fixed bowl, believing that the bowl's paint chip would be fixed this time. However, to our surprise, the bowl was not fixed. Rather, the paint chips were even worse this time...going from a single small paint chip to SEVERAL large paint chips along the outer edge of the bowl. Again, the employee didn't say anything to us when they gave us the bowl until we pointed out how the paint chips were even WORSE this time. In response, they blamed the worsened condition of the bowl on their "finicky burner" and offered us either a $36 refund or store credit. They didn't even apologize for their mistake or wasting our time yet again. Of course, we took the refund because why would we take another chance here... Personally, I am grateful that they gave us a refund but I feel this experience was a huge waste of time and money. We had to make 4 separate trips from the east bay to SF and what did we get out of it? A bowl with a shitty paint job that somehow got worse with each "fix". A $36 refund doesn't even cover the cost of tolls to cross the bay bridge and come back this many times, not mention the cost of the time and GAS we spent coming back so many times. Overall, I hope Terra Mia Ceramic Studios takes this as a learning lesson to perform more rigorous quality inspections before giving the finished product to paying customers as prevent their customers from wasting time and money coming back to get it fixed. After all, after we finish painting, everything else is in the hands of the employees (glazing, firing, quality check, etc), all we do is come back to pick up the finished product. I feel as though this all could have been avoided, especially since it's just a simple bowl...there are so many more intricate complicated objects that people paint at the studio... Painting the bowls was a great fun experience but we are not happy about coming back 3 additional times to get it fixed only for it to get worse each successive time.
