He did the new truck first and after some PDR by Ryan at Dentless Touch, Gary made the new paint even better with incredible depth and gloss. He saw my 2019 Ram 1500 and noticed that it was in great shape for a 7 year old truck and had the same black paint code as the 2026. He said he could do paint correction on it and it would look as good as the 2026. Wow! He said when I picked it up it would be hard to tell which was the new truck and which was the 7 year old truck. That old paint now looks like it never had before even when new. It also has incredible depth and gloss. Gary is a master craftsman who takes great pride in his work and assures his customers get only the best living up to his name. Just two minutes after stepping out, I walked back in and was suddenly told we had to come back later. The communication was unprofessional, and the interaction itself was not kind. As a mother and daughter, it left us questioning whether we were being taken seriously as customers. We were ready to have two vehicles serviced one immediately and another scheduled- and had heard great things about your business, including your homemade air fresheners. Instead, we were dismissed without any attempt to keep our business. At the very least, you could have offered to schedule us or shown some effort to accommodate us. I don't mind paying more for good service, but I do expect to feel valued, and that did not happen here. First impressions matter. Being quoted, then turned away moments later, was frustrating and disappointing. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Have you ever had one of those moments, on a freezing cold day, running late for work and when you finally rush out the door to start your commute to work...you noticed your tire is flat or has lost most of its air!? If so, you know my pain. Go figure, the joys of having a high-end sports ride and low profile tires!! The winter season can be ruff on low-profile tires or any car with a set of rims on them. I had an issue with one stubborn tire where I kept losing air in the tire due to a damaged rim and the crazy temperature changes lately here in DC. I had two separate auto shops try to repair the issue...with no success until I stumbled on Sharper Image ARS. What a great find?! These guys came recommended to me right on time by Mac's Tire (another life saver) in DC. Mac's does not repair rims, hence why I needed a specialty tire/rim repair shop like Sharper Image ARS. These guys know their stuff. I called and made an appointment for the same day. The Manager, Shawn Gray, was able to easily assess the issue, repair/resurface the rim almost to a new one, and seal the tire on the rim correctly. He went above and beyond to make sure the problem was fixed. My wheel was restored back to the original performance and I was really pleased with his work. No more having the need to fill my tire with air every couple of days...sometimes 2-3 times a week due to this issue. It's been two weeks of freezing cold weather and I haven't had another air leak or issue with the tire/rim since going to Sharper Image ARS. Just in time for the snow and blizzard this weekend! 5 Stars easily!! I would highly recommend checking these guys out if you are having tire/rim issues. Services also include car detailing, tire/rim sales, minor mechanic and bodywork services too. They are very professional and run a good, honest shop. ONE SIDE NOTE....I see some folks complaining about the business location. Do not be discouraged by the location or the looks of the establishment. They are legit and are currently renovating while operating their business.

They ended up finishing in about 2.5 - 3 weeks. The work was good, although the color was different from the original, which was fine, because it looks really good. There is nothing wrong the location as far as I can tell. My only suggestion would be for them to update the phone number on the business cards. Update: got another rim refinshed here. So, I hesitantly hired a detailer to do what I had always done. Seth did an outstanding job both on detailing and in applying a top-notch ceramic coating to my Lexus. Rain and debris now roll off of my car effortlessly, and anything minor that remains is easily wiped off without a car wash. I should have sought the ceramic coating long ago. Seth uses superior products and attended to all details in my request with kindness and humility. Seth loves caring for vehicles and the results show.
