I appreciate the atmosphere that they have created here and ther seems to be enough room for a party of any size. My meal was delicious and when I asked our server what another customer ordered because it looked interesting "oh that's the famous garbage burrito." She said I don't know about that name, but I'll give it a shot.

Last year, I received an email invitation encouraging me to celebrate my birthday at your restaurant, and the same thing happened this year. My wife, son, and I decided to come in and celebrate. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The service was poor from the beginning. I showed our waiter the birthday email promotion and asked about the birthday discount. He told me that the restaurant no longer offered that promotion. I showed him the email with the current date, and he then said he would ask the manager. I didn't want to make a big issue of it, so we placed our order and enjoyed our meal. The food was okay, although it seemed different than I remembered. The salsa, however, was still delicious. Later, I asked the waiter if he had spoken with the manager regarding the birthday promotion, and he said he had forgotten. We also asked for dessert. The response was simply "fine." There was no acknowledgment of my birthday, no birthday wishes, and no effort to make the occasion feel special. What made this even more disappointing was that the restaurant was not busy at the time. As someone who has supported Jose O'Shea's for decades and has celebrated many birthdays there, I left feeling disappointed. I wanted to share this feedback because I have many fond memories of your restaurant and hope future guests receive a better experience.

The atmosphere there is casual and decorated nicely. I had the wedge salad again and it was as good as it was the first time. The patio area is perfect for a casual cocktail with friends

This is maybe the most convoluted review I've ever written:…read moreWe were happy to get a spot here on OpenTable for Mother's Day. Fortunately, it is close to our home and the reviews looked great. When we arrived, we redirected from the main dining room to another space the restaurant owns 2 doors down. I wonder if we may have had a more attentive experience had we been in the original? The first disappointment was that our meal took 40 minutes to arrive from the time that we sat down. Our waiter consistently forgot that my husband had ordered a Diet Coke or to refill the drink when he had offered. The tables around us seemingly were served earlier, even though we all placed our orders around the same time. I ordered the Thai Pork Belly Benedict, which was absolutely delectable and definitely something write home about! And the country potatoes side was perfectly seasoned and crispy. I would absolutely go back for this, just maybe on a weekday brunch due to the wait. I thought it was extremely unique how the children's menu was plated in a muffin tin, with 6 different food choices for just $12. Great deal! My husband had a Belgian waffle topped with fruit, which was really unremarkable. Reminiscent of something that you might self-make at a hotel breakfast. Unfortunately, his waffle was cold, and he requested that they remake, which our server made sure was done in a timely manner. All in all, our meal was very reasonably priced at around $43. I just wish it hadn't been such a long wait, both to receive the initial order and for drink refills.
