It's been 3 MONTHS!!! Every time I call they acknowledge that they owe us but ask for a few more days with no more explanation as to why it takes this long. Based on California law they are obligated to give us the deposit maximum 21days after moving out with the list of reasons why they deduct any part of that. Looks like we need to go ahead with the legal process.

I recently moved in and gotten a chance to explore everything…read more The sauna is nice but takes at least 20 minutes to heat up. I like the fancy weights at the gym with the Solana name on them. There's a cool pizza oven that I'll definitely try to use soon. There are charging ports at some spots at the pool which is convenient. The yurt-looking things look very cool but appear damaged (not attached anymore to the suspension). pool is a bit small and gets filled quickly once even one or two families (adults + kids) show up. Some cons: it doesn't seem like the carpets in the hallways get vacuumed or cleaned. I noticed some little stuff along the carpeted hallways since the day I moved in that are still there. I also see stains on the carpet that look like residue from animals. This also applies to the carpeted stairwells. Big con when I moved in was the floor--caked in layers upon layers upon layers 1 MILLLLLLLLLLION layers what seemed like dirt and concrete dust. After wiping the floor once, the wet wipe would be covered in dirt. After wiping the floor again right after, the wipe was still completely covered in dust/dirt. I had to repeat this a bajillion times and use hours of my time to clean my floors to be somewhat presentable and clean. Whoever did construction did a bad job not covering the flooring when building this place...or Solana bought flooring that was already sullied. There's also some weird staining on some parts of the floor making me wonder what in the world happened to it like maybe a worker took several massive piles of shhht and they stained the floor. Other con I've noticed is some people using the parking garage like a personal home garage e.g. keeping personal belongings in parking spots. The worst offender I've seen has a personal storage container with lock on it and keeps personal items on top of their storage like water bottles and other big things (very tacky). Even more embarrassing is they have a personalized car plate like MCRIDIN or MCCRIDIN and they purposely park multiple cars over the lines to prevent others from parking there. Disgusting people

The manager/ supervisor Julianne that runs the Solana at Duarte Station. She was AWESOME and super sweet as well. The apartment complex is new and super clean. It's also super quiet. The prices weren't outrages either. Comparing to the newer apartments around I felt it was reasonable. I feel that the management team is on top of everything and makes sure that everyone that walks through the door feels welcomed. They were so polite. The facility and the amenities are beautiful too. I made another appointment for another visit this time with my child and her friend. Alex took them around and explained everything and took time to answer any questions. He did not rush us either. He was very patient. Thank you Alex and Julianne for making this a wonderful experience for us all. So excited for my child and friend to be moving in.

I've been here for 3yrs and it was a great place to live the first year and a half. After that, completely downhill like a rollercoaster at the fair grounds. Bumpy and rough. Thinking when is it going to break down. 2025 was the beginning of the sh** show. Water issues started happening. No water for a day or two. They stopped providing poop bags for dogs for months. Poo was everywhere. None of those poop bag trash cans were empty for weeks. To the top Security cameras don't work. None of them. One man got his truck tailgate stolen. Then another his motorcycle stolen. People have gotten their cars broken into. Asked for a light for my carport above my truck. A year later still nothing. In the dark 2026 water issues again. Then the big one. No hot water for 6 days. They throw bandaids on everything. They fixed my shower floor not the bathroom floor shower floor the second time and come home from vacation after 8 days and the job wasn't even finished and closed the work order. Chemical dust everywhere from the plaster and concrete they did in the shower. The WHOLE unit was covered in it. Like if you jack hammered some concrete in my place. I asked for a sliding screen door for what happened and nothing. They didn't even talk to me after the issue the next day. This place is not worth the money anymore. If you move here, stay for one year just to lay your hat. It sucks because I love this town of La Verne that I grew up in and at one time enjoyed calling this place amber ridge, home. My lease is up next month so good luck to everyone at amber ridge. This place is rotting... The units and from within management. P.S. Anthony the maintenance guy is a good dude. Give the guy some help or the last good hand there will be leaving as well.
