    Excellent service and honest pricing…read more I own a 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. After a rock hit my windshield, a long crack developed and I needed a replacement. I contacted several auto glass companies and found that most quotes were significantly higher than what Doctor Auto Glass offered. From the beginning, they answered all of my questions clearly. They explained the difference between OEM and aftermarket glass, confirmed the use of FYG (Fuyao) glass, included ADAS calibration, offered a calibration report, and provided a lifetime workmanship warranty. They installed a new FYG Acoustic windshield, performed the ADAS calibration in-house, and provided a calibration report showing the calibration was completed successfully. All Toyota Safety Sense features are working properly and there are no warning lights or system errors. My total cost was about $480 paid by card. The entire process was smooth, professional, and transparent from start to finish. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work, communication, and overall value. I highly recommend Doctor Auto Glass to anyone needing windshield repair or replacement.

    i had the misfortune of getting my car broken into while parked in dtla, and i needed a shop to get…read morethe back tailgate window replaced asap. both safelite and auto glass now (insurance-recommended) didn't have any open appointments available until a week at the earliest, and there was no way i was going to drive around for that long with a smashed windshield or one covered with a black trash taped over it. fortunately i found doctor auto glass on yelp, was convinced by the 1700+ glowing 5-star reviews, and i can now count myself as another satisfied customer! robert was able to confirm my vehicle information and insurance coverage over the phone and text on a friday afternoon and let me know that i could drop off my car the next morning. the no-frills shop is located on a small lot, and with the number of customers coming in, it can get pretty tight but the workers will let you know where to park. robert took care of all the paperwork dealing with my insurer, and i was able to pick up my car with a brand new oem windshield by the early afternoon before they closed for the saturday! i hope i do not need to return but would choose doctor auto glass again if i had to, and i would recommend them to anyone looking for a fast, efficient car window replacement!

    I got a chip in my windshield while driving on the highway. Since the chip was smaller than the…read moresize of a quarter, Safelite was able to repair it instead of replacing the whole windshield. I made my appointment online, which was pretty easy. I filled out the form and was also able to file the insurance claim through the process, which made everything more convenient. When I arrived, I waited in the lobby while the repair was being done. They had coffee, water, and Wi-Fi available, which was nice. I arrived around 9:45 AM and the repair was finished by 10:34 AM, so the whole visit was fairly quick. The technician who helped me was Edwin. He did a great job and explained everything clearly. He also let me know that there weren't any restrictions afterward, such as getting my car washed with a pressure washer. Overall, it was a smooth and easy experience. The repair was quick, the process was convenient, and Edwin provided great service. I forgot to take a before repair pic, but the after pic you can see the chip filled in.

    I want to share my experience at Safelite Pasadena with manager Christopher Gomez. We had a 1 p.m…read more appointment on July 7, 2026, and were greeted by Mr. Gomez. From the start, my husband and I felt an unmistakable sense of homophobia from him. Despite our discomfort, we paid $539 for the "premium package" and were told the work would take 1-2 hours. It took three hours before they even began working on our car. While on a road trip, a pebble cracked the windshield of our 2011 Subaru Forester Sport Turbo--a unique, now-discontinued model we cherish and keep in excellent condition. When the technician finished, we discovered the new windshield was the wrong style. It fit and matched the VIN, but had large orange strips--wiper heater pads meant for extreme cold--that were highly visible and unnecessary in Pasadena's mild climate. We complained, and the technician called Mr. Gomez. He initially acknowledged the problem, but after a heated exchange with the technician, he returned and became confrontational. He loudly insisted we had agreed to an "aftermarket" windshield--a term we were unfamiliar with and had never heard mentioned before. Mr. Gomez claimed the details were in the appointment email, which we had not seen. He became increasingly hostile and tried to embarrass us in front of the other customers. Eventually, he offered to order a dealer windshield and replace the wrong one--for an extra $380--bringing the total close to $1,000. When we asked about an aftermarket windshield without the orange strips, he said it didn't exist. Mr. Gomez later emailed us the original document, which we realized we had received. We replied: "Hi Christopher, Thank you for your email! Yes, I did receive it. However, I didn't see any mention of the term "After Market." Even if I had seen it, I wouldn't have known what it meant and would have asked for clarification. I think you might be referring to this paragraph from the email: "Your replacement windshield is not an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part. For your safety, please avoid driving your vehicle for about an hour after installation." This paragraph doesn't say anything about the product's quality; it seems to simply advise against driving the car for 1 hour after installation. I have a thought--do you happen to have an aftermarket windshield without the orange window wiper heater? It seems unnecessary for me since I live in Southern California, plus it's not very attractive, and I do love my car. I won't be driving the car between now and the replacement next Thursday. If it's possible to get a windshield without the orange strips, that would be great!" Respectfully Kellett After getting no response from Mr. Gomez, we contacted Safelite customer service. The first representative was immediately hostile, saying we should have requested an OEM windshield if we wanted one. She said our only options were to have the shop reinstall the old windshield or go to the Subaru dealership. Frustrated and confused, I was transferred back to the Pasadena shop. Out of frustration, I called customer service again and reached Jasmin, who was sympathetic and knew there are aftermarket windshields without the orange strips. She said she would email the District Manager, Christopher Berks, about our situation. That was just yesterday, and of course we haven't heard back yet. Meanwhile, Mr. Gomez called back after learning of our complaint from the first customer service woman. He left a message refusing any credit for the wrong windshield and stating we would have to pay $850 for the replacement--bringing our total cost to around $1,500. Mr. Gomez acted like a bully, showing only disdain and hostility. Jasmin was the sole helpful person in this ordeal. Now we're left with an embarrassing windshield and the lingering sense of being targeted by homophobia.
