My car came with upsized aftermarket rims and I asked them to install the new tires on my stock oem wheels which I had brought, still wrapped from being stored. They swapped the wheels and installed the oem back on the car with the new tires, wrapped my aftermarket rims and put them in the trunk and backseat for me to store until I either sell or install in our suv. They were fast and courteous. Can't ask for anything more.

Jason helped me out; and while I had to go home and come back because I have a BMW and we have weird tools you need to get tires off of the car, they did fix my tire for free and all was good in the world. But in fixing my tire, they also noticed that my rear brakes were all screwed up. Jared, the tech who helped me out this time, was able to look up parts and labor rates and gave me a quote within five minutes. I went in today to get the brakes fixed... and on two different occasions the technician came to the waiting room to sit down and explain to me what actually was wrong with my brakes. They had photos, they showed me the parts themselves, why things had been installed incorrectly previously, and all that jazz. and they were just as kind as they could be, not talking down to me because I'm a female who doesn't understand cars, but explaining everything to me because I'm a customer, and they want my business back. which they are going to get! I learned that I'm also going to need to replace the brake calipers. It's going to be pricey, but Jared said they would forward me a quote as soon as possible. I came in the afternoon and was pressed for time so it was my mistake not to review the quote. They add on items that should already be part of the repair. Other things to keep in mind with this Glendale branch: (1) If you buy tires from Firestone they charge extra for balancing unlike Discount Tire Centers or America's Tire where it is included, so you save money buying tires elsewhere, (2) They do not deduct diagnostic fees when you authorize the repair unlike all other Service Centers even Dealerships, they also don't tell you that beforehand, (3) Firestone will overcharge you for parts. Granted dealerships will do the same but it's just a sleazy practice that no one should be doing. (4) They will not thoroughly explain what's included on the costs. Like I said I should have reviewed the quote in detail. They added hazard protection for the tires without letting me know, which added $125 to my bill. My verdict is go elsewhere. These people will pad your invoice and are dishonest and deceptive. BE FOREWARNED!

Anyone who builds off-road vehicles knows that finding the right shop is a niche and personal choice--you want a team you can trust with your rig. I had originally received a quote from a shop in San Diego, but when I realized there was a shop right here in my own backyard in Burbank, I wanted to try and keep my business local. I reached out and sent them the itemized list of work from the previous shop to see what they could do. What followed was some of the most unprofessional behavior I've ever experienced. The guy who called me back came out swinging, practically yelling at me over the phone. He was incredibly defensive, snapping, "Just so you know, we are $275 an hour for labor, and I see you cut this invoice out from someone else's estimate. We are more expensive than them." He sounded deeply insecure and visibly furious that a customer would dare to shop around for the best fit. He later left a voicemail asking me to call back. When I did, a different guy answered the phone and spoke to me like I was a debt collector harassing him. When I answered his question about who I was looking for and our previous conversation, he rudely interrupted me mid-sentence, blurting out, "OKAY, WELL I HAVE ANOTHER CALL SO..." and literally just trailed off into silence. I just hung up. Why would I ever let people who treat human beings this way get anywhere near my vehicle? How does a business survive operating like this? I had a $12,000 job ready to go for tire replacements, a suspension overhaul, front bumper replacement, roof rack and heavy maintenance work. Instead of securing a massive project, these clowns let their egos and hostile communication skills ruin the transaction. Out of principle, take your hard-earned money and your rig somewhere else. Go to a shop where people actually practice basic kindness, respect, and professional communication. The way this entire crew came across was like a bunch of snakes. Save yourself the headache and go to another off-road establishment. And know that this place charges an hourly labor rate of $275 an hour.

As a woman the worst thing to happen is to be stranded with a flat tire after 6:30pm. When everyone was closed Jack and Hovo waited until I got there. I took it in to a place AAA recommended in downtown LA and explain the issue. They told me I needed a new timing chain along with a whole bunch of other stuff and quotes me $4800 for it. This was preceded with a lot of scare tactics on what will happen if I don't have the work done, which came across as very used car salesman-ish. When I ran the quote through ChatGPT I was told they were charging me dealership pricing for an independent mechanic for that type of work in LA. So I brought the truck here to Speedway where I had Minor worked done before and had a good experience. They told me my bearings need to be replaced and did the work for lesson than a quarter of the price I was quoted at the other mechanic. Work was finished in a day and the truck has been running perfectly since then. Had I spent to 4800 at the place it wouldn't have even resolved the issue, which means I would've had to come out of the pocket even more after the initial work was done. Obviously a truck of this age is gonna have some problems and when they inevitably happen again I will be back here at Speedway to take care of them. Highly recommend this place for integrity, quality, efficiency and fair pricing.

Fred helped me out - he was very friendly and non-intimidating (great for a gal going to an auto shop by herself!) He explained that Tesla tires have some foam, so patching the tire for the nail he found would be $50. It was nice he took the time to explain why it was a certain cost, def appreciated. They have a really nice waiting area with seating + strong AC (it was a hot summer day in LA), I was really impressed. Paid by cash because there's a small fee for credit card. 100% recommend this spot - friendly and service was quick. I was in and out fasttt!
