What an absolutely amazing experience! First of all, I just want to say that Hrant took my call with a lot of respect and kindness despite my kid unfortunately teething in the background. As it goes being a parent I was trying to do too many things at once and life happens. None the less Hrant was very understanding of the situation and did his best to prioritize getting my car in ASAP the next day due to an upcoming trip on my end. I showed up bright and early, his team took a look at my car, did a test drive and fixed my issue all under an hour! Hrant let me know that the issue was a loose nut that could have lead to a dangerous situation on the road. They fixed things up and charged a very fare rate given how quickly they got me in, addressed the issue and how good the customer service was. Number one the level of professionalism and organized flow is rarely seen at a auto shop from the moment I came in. They were expecting me. Every one of the mechanics had a smile and looked like old veterans that have been working with cars easily over 40 years. We have been bringing our cars to Hrant for 20+ years. He and his staff are very knowledgeable. The prices are fair. If he can't fix something, he will refer you to his large network of excellent mechanics for various specialities. One caveat - he will only work on cars in stock configuration, no customized vehicles. I used to do all my own work, so I'm quite picky about my mechanics. I contacted Hrant Auto service after reading all the amazing reviews he had for a brake service since they were squeaking as I was driving. He offered me a same day appointment or a following morning appointment which I took since I would be dropping it off before heading to work. He gave me a quote of what the cost would be to replace both front and rear brake pads which seemed reasonable since the dealership has quoted me an arm and leg in the past. He called me an hour and a half later to let me know that only the front brakes ended up needing to be replaced and he also added engine oil for me since it was a little low. So I ended up paying less than initially expected and the service was completed quickly! During regular maintenance they saw my struts needed replacing, they gave me a price and explained I could do the front struts during my next maintenance and the rear struts down the road. It's this kind of respect and professionalism that keeps people coming to Hrant. His shop wall is even filled with thank you notes and holiday cards from happy customers. For a fully synthetic oil change I paid $70. The shop is popular so be sure to make an appointment and save yourself some time. With an appointment an oil change only takes 30 minutes. I've been to Hrant twice now and both times have been a great experience. The first time was to replace the front axles on my car for which the dealership was going to charge me $2,500. I had other service issues with the dealership so I decided to find an alternative. That is when I found Hrant. These guys had me scheduled within a few days of me contacting them and had the car done in a few hours at one third the price. I will never go to the dealership again. Fast, courteous, reliable service at an excellent price. Lastly, I needed other repairs (body work) they do not do and Hrant recommeneded a shop to me called B&K Auto Body that also turned out to be excellent (see other review ).
