I originally had an excellent experience with both my kids here - and still feel Dr. Carl Reimer is an excellent oral surgeon - unfortunately, after paying thousands of dollars for both operations I received recent notices from a collection agency on their behalf for a balance of $10 despite having paid in full and never bringing up any outstanding balance during subsequent visits months after the fact. read more

I received excellent care and compassion from Dr Weinstein and the staff. I was able to obtain an appointment quickly. Dr Weinstein thoroughly explained my procedure and is very skilled in her profession. I had a very similar procedures performed by a different oral surgeon in another state, which was much more painful and unnecessarily so! Our daughter had her wisdom teeth removed. I called in advance to confirm that our insurance would be accepted. It wasn't until the very end of our consultation that we were informed we would have to pay the total cost of the bill up front and then provide an EOB to receive reimbursement. I was not expecting to float nearly $2000 for almost 3 months until we received most of it back. The surgery went smoothly, though our daughter was disappointed that this office doesn't provide the kind of icepack headband that her friends received after their surgeries. :) The receptionist told us that the surgeon prefers to do the post-operative appointment over the phone instead of in person. We scheduled a time for him to call us, but he did not follow through with calling for that appointment. We had no complications, so we did not follow up, but it seemed unprofessional. read more

This review is based SOLELY on the front office staff. This has no reflection on the surgeons or the medical staff who assisted in our child's care. The office staff (Lorena) needs to be educated on what they can and can't ask in regards to ADA compliance. The person at the front desk asked illegal questions which my son was unprepared for. It scared him and was offensive to me as his parent. Additionally, she stated this is what people will ask "in the real world." How incredibly condescending. She then proceeds to lie to my husband and denied she asked illegal questions, which she most certainly did. We chose to stay only because we heard glowing reviews about the surgeon and those reviews were spot on. He was awesome. read more

I have had care from 3 of the oral surgeons at Colorado Regional Oral Surgery and have nothing but praise for them and their staff. My most recent treatments were by Dr. Politano and Dr. Riemer and both were great listeners, they clearly communicated procedures and they treat their patients with respect and empathy. Dr. Riemer stayed late for a procedure and actually adjusted the cost of the treatment based on it being a simpler than normal procedure. We had great experiences with Dr. Julie Lesnick but she retired. Based on our evaluation with a new doctor and the office staff they are no longer a good choice for us. It was not a very welcoming visit and the office manager is not very professional. Our dentist recommended another Oral Surgeon that has been a much better experience. read more

I had to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed. I decided to use the IV sedation, I expected it to hurt having the needle put in my arm; but it was the least amount of pain I've ever felt with needles. As well as the prep time, surgery, and my recovery only took an hour at max. I didn't wake up at all during surgery, and it didn't take me more than 15 mins to recover. I do understand everyone is different with sedation and recover time. But this was my experience. read more

My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed here. At the initial appointment, I provided my dental and medical insurance cards (as requested). No concerns were raised about my insurance. I was told everything was good, given an estimate, and paid my portion. There was a disclaimer that there could be an additional amount owed after insurance paid but I was assured it would be minimal. The only exception would be if the surgery was more complex than anticipated. The surgery went well and only took half the time as expected. All seemed well and we were happy. Then a month and a half later, I received another bill (almost doubling the initial amount owed). I also received a notice from Aetna suggesting that I not pay any more. I looked into it and after reading other reviews with others being taking to collections, decided to just pay to be done with this place. Apparently, this office is only a Delta Premier provider, not Delta PPO. They are also not contracted with any medical insurance. They don't have to charge 'reasonable and customary rates' - they can charge whatever they want (which happens to be double). If you go here, I advise contacting your dental provider first. Be very clear about what you are signing and what you expect to pay. My husband has his wisdom teeth pulled a year before my daughter at a different place and we paid less than 1/3 for his than for hers. His surgery was more complex too! Had we known, we would have gone elsewhere. We have 2 younger kids and our family will never return here. read more

My wife and I had a small balance with Colorado Regional Oral Surgery. There was a misunderstanding on our part and communication with CROS . They Turned it over to a collection agency and this is where it got bad. I was called one day by person contacted me buy phone. He refused to tell me any information even the creditor then told me I dont pay my bills. I was shocked that someone would say something to me , we do pay our bills. So I had to research by bank records to see who there might be a oversight. We found it to Be CROS. I called and spoke to the person that transfered our account to Red River Recovery. The Demand letter didnt even come with the actual Creditor not to mention a simple phone call from Colorado Regional would have fixed this issue right away. But no contact. CROS hired and has been using this company for Collections , this means that the agency they hired represents them. How can they do that when the only letters that come over say nothing about the creditor, nada zip , no information just write check out, and calls of harassment. This was an insurance issue and yet they hired this band of thugs to collect. The CROS is one hundred percent wrong, they hired this agency but never has checked on how they treat the patients. read more

I had to get a tooth removed today as part of a bigger dental project, and Dr. Politano and his staff were so kind and empathetic. I've had a lot of dental and medical work done over the course of my life due to a congenital birth defect, so I know how rare it is to have a doctor that cares just as much for my mental health as my physical pain on difficult days like this. I would never go to another oral surgeon in the future. I just can't say enough how grateful I am that he and his staff made a very tough day a bit easier. I was very nervous to have my wisdom teeth removed because I am in my late 30's and three of them were impacted. I can say now that the worst part for me was the anticipation. I highly recommend Dr. Lesnick. She is very professional, patient, caring and calming. I met with her for an initial consultation and she went over my x-ray with me in great detail. She explained what she would need to do for my particular case. The surgery went well. I highly recommend doing the general anesthesia. It felt like only a moment had passed instead of the 80 min. needed for my surgery. I also highly recommend following the Dr.'s orders to the 'T'. I began taking the antibiotics the day before the surgery and continued until they were gone. I iced a lot and didn't have any bruising or excessive swelling. I did end up taking pain meds for about 4 days but nothing excessive. I was very cautious about what I ate sticking to only very soft foods for a couple of days. I didn't want to risk disturbing my gums. Now, I'm 3 weeks out and feeling really good. I didn't have any dry socket issues. I wanted to write a review in case any one else was feeling super nervous like I was and just say "it wasn't that bad". read more

Words can not express how Dr. Sara Weinstein has renewed my faith in patient/provider relationships. Her genuine approach to truly connecting with her patients is simply bar none. I did not feel like I asked too many questions and/or received vague jargon-filled answers - which is something I had previously thought was unavoidable. Clinical expertise, coupled with exceptional bed side manner sets Dr. Sara apart. I know (she doesn't know - that I know - but I know) Dr. Sara went above and beyond to personally ensure my mental and physical health needs were met. Also, a great provider can never be great if they employ a crappy support team. There is NOTHING more unsettling than having to take a leap of faith and putting your health into the hands of a provider where their support staff seems either too busy, inadequate because of "new software systems" or even bothered by your mere existence (trust me, it happens all the time). Had an emergency referral from my dentist. Earliest they could do was 28 days out. Did not return phone call. Called to let them know was going elsewhere and why, and they said they had 5-6 emergencies per day, and it was my problem that they couldn't get me in. Then hung up. Completely unprofessional, uncaring. Do not go to this office. Am filing a complaint with appropriate Colorado Division of Professions and Occupation, and the Colorado Board of Dentistry. read more

I had two wisdom teeth pulled by a Dentist 20 or so years ago and the pain was the worst I have ever had in my life. So much so I had to go back in for additional work to alleviate the pain. I was VERY hesitant to have my last two wisdom teeth pulled along with a badly infected molar that had to go. Dr. Ingalls assured me things would be different this time...I was still VERY skeptical! The big day arrived and the prep started as I felt the IV sedation needle go in and then the next thing I remember was " You're all done". IV sedation is a godsend! There was some pain recovering in the first couple of days after the procedure but nothing like the first time. Dr. Ingalls even personally called me the second day to make sure I was all right. Although the doctor was very nice (Lakewood office), and that experience was pleasant, I had an issue with billing and was treated as a complete idiot by their manager. I have never been talked down to so horribly by a business in my life. They also don't return your phone calls once they know you have a complaint. Also, make sure to do your research on your own if they are in/out of network because they won't help you with that information until it comes time for billing you, even if you ask prior to going in for your appointment. They will only tell you that you are covered, but not by how much unless you use the exact wording and questions needed. read more

I love the doctors at this office and the care they give is great, but the waiting time is ridiculous. I usually have to wait 15-20 min in the waiting room after my appt and then another 15 min in the consultation room before I see anyone. I have two kids going through braces at the moment so we've had to have a couple of appointments to have baby teeth out and it's been a great experience except for the extensive wait times. I feel like my time is being wasted. read more

He takes time to explain EVERYTHING, best bedside manner ever! His surgery skills are also amazing! He took my wisdom teeth with no problems, he made sure I was comfortable and taken care of! Billing has been an issue with the Arvada office since I first became a patient in 2012. My last experience on June 1, 2017, was so bad that I will not be returning. I now need to find another oral surgeon to do the implant. I was scheduled for an implant at 10:15. at 10:50, the receptionist called me to the desk and informed me that I would have to reschedule since I did not have payment with me. I offered to go home and get my credit card, but was told no. This was entirely different from Feb.14, 2017, when I had an extraction and bone graft. After the appointment, I was handed a bill and told, "Just mail it in."I did not mail it in because it was incorrect. After calling to complain, the billing coordinator, Audra, left me a message that this was just a "walk out statement" and they could not bill the insurance until AFTER the extraction and bone graft, and this had not been done. Now, on June 1, I was told, prior to the insurance being billed, that I had to pay BEFORE or reschedule. This was very insulting and a very distressing experience. I did not like being treated like a child and a deadbeat. read more

(Lakewood office) I am 22 and never had my wisdoms pulled. I was referred to Colorado Regional by my dentist. Overall, I was very pleased. The staff was kind and my surgeon Dr. Weinstein was patient with addressing my concerns. The surgery and recovery were a bit rough due to my situation (3 huge impacted teeth), but I received a courtesy call that night and got all the help I needed. About a month later I am fully recovered with no side effects. If I ever need surgery again, I will likely come to this office. read more

I can highly recommend Dr. Julie Lesnick at Colorado Regional Oral Surgery; I'm not familiar with any of the other docs there because I never saw them. But Dr. Lesnick helped me out with an extremely complicated problem that was caused by a bad implant from another doctor at a different business. Dr. Lesnick saw me over and over again to try and help me figure out what was wrong; she always gave me very thoughtful responses and took her time with me. She extracted two teeth, and for both of them I was awake and not under anesthesia; I just used a little bit of nitrous, and breezed right through them. (I don't necessarily recommend that method, especially if you are getting more than one tooth out, but for me it was necessary and really not bad - and the cost was much less as well). She often didn't charge me for my appointments even when she easily could have. She called my other doctors / endodontists / dentists and would consult with them on next steps for me. And she always called me back when I left her a message. She is very honest and even sent me to a different doctor to do a procedure they couldn't do in their office, because she thought it would be a better way to go in my complicated case. The office is very nice and comfortable, and the nurses were also all very nice and had great bed-side manners. The only issue I ever had there is I sometimes had to wait a long time for an appointment for an actual surgical procedure (2 weeks even can be interminable when you have an infected tooth); but she always made sure I had any medication necessary to make me comfortable during that time - antibiotics, pain meds, etc. I will definitely go back to her for any other oral surgery needs. read more

Dr. O'Day at CROS is great. We have seen him twice for my daughter - first to remove her wisdom teeth and then for 2 implants. Both times, he called us at home the evening of surgery to make sure she was doing well. She had minimal pain on both surgeries and recovery was a breeze. We ran into a small complication with the implants, but Dr. O'Day took care of it and made it right. I definitely recommend him for any oral surgery you need. read more

Excellent staff and service. I took my teenage dgtr here for removal of 4 wisdom teeth. She was playing computer in 2 hours after returning home and experienced minimal pain. Dr Nicholas A. Early last week I was admitted to the Lakewood location of Colorado Regional Oral Surgery. I had to have an emergency extraction of one of my wisdom teeth that was causing me a considerable amount of pain. I first spoke over the phone with Anne Marie, who was very kind and helpful. She answered all my questions and eased much of my anxiety about having this procedure done. She was able to schedule me early next morning for a consult with the doctor. The next morning it was snowing very hard and I was a few minutes late due to complications on the road. Everyone at the office was so understanding. I was admitted to see Dr. Sara M. Weinstein, who was extremely professional and kind to me as well. Kindness seems to be the reoccurring theme at Colorado Regional. She assessed my tooth situation and told me she could extract the painful tooth right then and there. She also gave me the option to take out my remaining three teeth while I was under general anesthesia, just to get it all over with at once. I decided that was my most efficient course of action, and I had come to the office prepped for surgery as was recommended by Anne Marie. After a brief discussion with financials, I was hooked up to an IV and cracking jokes with Dr. Weinstein. The next thing I remember is waking up to smiling faces, and being assured that my surgery went very well. They got me setup with prescriptions and an ice pack, and I was on my way. Everyone at Colorado Regional made my experience as painless as possible. I would recommend them to anyone who needs oral surgery. read more
