I bought my RV, used, in 2022. The problems began almost immediately, showing my lack of knowledge…read moreof how to manage an RV. I'll summarize some and spare you the details but I utilized the services of 4 different RV repair shops along my journey. I spent a lot of money but continued to have issues, especially with my electrical system. After my third season (2022-2024) of trying to get things to work properly, two of the shops threw up their hands and told me they didn't have the expertise to solve the problem and recommended I contact the team at One Stop Shop RV repair. The One Stop Shop RV team evaluated the problems I was having and immediately diagnosed how wrong wiring had been used, the expensive lithium batteries I had acquired were bad straight out of the box, and a battery rehost location combined with the right materials would solve the problem. I had also experienced a problem with the coach batteries draining the drive compartment battery on a regular basis. A unique solution was suggested with a selector switch to determine when both batteries interacted for charging purposes but also guarding the drive compartment battery, so I didn't go battery dead in the wilderness. My new upgraded lithium battery solution works OUTSTANDING now. The singular set of problems with my electrical system was only the beginning of how well the One Stop Shop kept me going. On another occasion I was preparing to go out and discovered my refrigerator unit wasn't working. I contacted the One Stop Shop team on a Friday; they reviewed the issue, ordered the part, had me back over on Monday and I was out on-time come Thursday with a functioning refrigerator. Another good one was the One Stop Shop team recommended a unique engine oil change procedure I had never heard of. I was getting 7 miles to the gallon with my Triton V10 engine. After the unique oil change procedure, I immediately began getting 10 miles to the gallon. The additional mileage actually paid for itself over the summer. I'm not going to be able to say enough good about the One Stop Shop team's efforts to get me rolling and keep me on the road. They are courteous, enjoyable to work with, have proven to be knowledgeable beyond the average RV repair shop on multiple occasions, get the job done within reasonable expectations, take the time to teach a rookie how to manage the different elements of an RV, and have proven to me they are the expert you want on your team to put the joy of camping (rather than spending your time doing your own repairs) back at the top of the list. They weren't the cheapest bid for installing a convertible top for my Toyota Solara, but they had…read morethe best reviews. Of the four bids I sought, Rocky Top Upholstery never bothered to respond to their online quote request form, Timberline couldn't do the job until a month later for the same price as Auto Installs, and Custom Design Upholstery never responded when I asked a follow-up question about their bid). They were, however, within $50-100 of the other bids, so they're competitive, and they responded to every question I asked before proceeding. I asked them to do the job on a Friday phone call, and they were able to start the work the following Monday. They estimated two days' work, and that was exactly what it was. The installation they did is fantastic, and perhaps even better than the original Toyota factory job; rain dumped on us today, and not a single drop leaked from the car top! Totally satisfied.
