It was about a 30 minute pedicure. I'm pretty sure they only offer gel but it was a $50 pedicure which I think is very reasonable. I didn't have polish on my toes before so I'm not sure if this includes removal of previous gel. If you forget your nail kit (required in Oregon to bring some of your own supplies including a file, buffer and foot scrubber) they can provide one for a small fee.

You can also see the scabs from where the tech cut my fingers. The tech also tried telling me the reason she was getting my skin was because I wasn't relaxed enough. My hand and fingers couldn't be more relaxed, they just didn't want to take accountability for cutting me. The nails themselves look good, but the actual manicure is really bad. Won't be going back.

Once we found the techs whose work we liked, we scheduled appointments with them. Unfortunately, booking an appointment doesn't really mean anything. At my last completed appointment, both of our nail techs were so far behind that I had to leave my mom there to finish her service while I went to pick up my daughter from her after school program. For added context: our appointments were booked to start at 4 and I had to pick my daughter up by 6 and we both got fills with gel polish. We should have had plenty of time before I had to pick up my kid. I had booked an appointment with my preferred tech for this past Saturday. On Thursday, the salon texted me to let me know the tech wouldn't actually be working on Saturday and I was rescheduled to Monday. On Monday I decided to take my daughter with me for a manicure. Once again, my preferred nail tech had someone else in her chair at my appointment time. My daughter was taken to a station for her manicure and about 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment start time I was informed that my nail tech had to leave early for a family emergency. I was offered another tech, which I declined. Then I was taken to the counter to see when my preferred tech had another opening. The soonest is this Saturday and I declined that as well, because Monday was already a stretch for my grow out. Don't misunderstand, I am not upset about the family emergency. I hope everything is ok for her and her family. However, if I had been sitting in her chair at my scheduled appointment time, I would have received the service I booked. My mom has also experienced long waits for her scheduled appointments. My issue isn't with the people who work there, everyone has always been kind. My issue is that we've been consistent customers and we book our appointments in advance with the staff we want doing our nails, only to be pushed back by walk-ins. Ultimately, my mom and I decided to seek nail care elsewhere. Annie, we wish you and the salon the best, especially with your growth. The pride you take in your business is apparent and the staff you hire are wonderful.

My wife and I get our feet tended to about every two weeks. At first my wife would not go without me, so I went along, this has been going on now for 20 years. I am so glad I did this. It is part of my grooming now. That said, our favorite place is Got Nails, we have tried so many others but Got Nails is like on another cloud. Guys get those dogs fixed up and enjoy the summer.

And…read moreI felt very unwanted there as my nail tech complained about how many people were booking her services and her attitude was so very abrasive that I almost walked away out of pure anxiety. Plus, her air bnb side hustle seemed more important to her than actually working on my nails. I tried to justify the work she did for all the attitude. (Like I don't mind that you're rude to me if your work is top notch) but then the nails started to fall off. Don't go, don't waste your money.
