Went here for a late lunch today, ordered a large steak sub with provolone, lettuce, tomato, and onion -- and get this, they actually charged me 50 cents extra for the raw onion on the sub--who does that?! Inside the place, its a pretty plain decor, with a bunch of booths to sit at, and a couple of game machines. They made it up fresh, within 10 minutes, but upon opening and biting in, I could help but wonder, "Where's the beef?!". They really don't give you much steak, or other toppings for that matter. I tasted more bun than steak. Paying over $11 for the sub alone, I expected much more.

Cheese crisp and 2 large meat and cheese tacos hot with a side of taco sauce !

I've always loved colosso for their burritos, cheese crisps and hands down one of my favorite places for a taco salad! Came to the new location to pick up my food and the inside is more spacious than where colosso was located before. Very roomy. New location located at 8881Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. It's been years since I ordered colosso since they have been permanently closed and I decided to order from the new location to see if it's the same and it was! Tastes the same from all the years I've had it before and everything I ordered was delicious! I called ahead for pick up and food was ready once I walked in. Atmosphere and workers were great as well! They did raise their prices just like any other restaurant but I enjoyed my meal and I will be back again soon for some more of my favorites!

I came in for lunch and got the 3 small colosso taco combo with chips and cheese and a drink all for $9. The tacos were above average but wouldn't rate them amazing, the chips and cheese were pretty standard (expected to be honest but they loaded me up on chips which I was happy about). The inside was spotless, staff was friendly. I would come back, I've heard their subs are good! Side note: the business is closing in November, spoke with the owner and he plans to open a new location somewhere else (I believe he said downtown Buffalo?)

Huge fan of this location. Eat here at least once a week, the office and I! They always take really good care of me even when I've had multiple orders. They are very friendly quick service and the food is always good. I think that's why we keep coming back lol... Nice clean establishment and the setup is very nice. Arcade games and TVs all over. Would highly recommend this place for some good finger licking food! Oh and did I mention the prices are really really fair too. That's all I have to say about that...

I got a small Colosso taco (medium) and an order of chicken fingers (medium) and my boyfriend got a Colosso taco and a small steak sub. I thought the Colosso Taco was decent. Just kinda tasted like a taco you could make at home with that taco mix stuff. There is a mighty taco right next door and I would probably rather get a taco there. The chicken fingers were also decent. Nothing to write home about. The menu said they came with fries, and when I ordered them the cashier asked if I wanted just chicken fingers or chicken fingers with fries, so naturally I asked if there was a difference in price. She said "no"....? Also the French fries were a bit greasy, like you know how they taste kinda weird when they're cooked in oil that probably should have been changed an hour or two before? Yeah. My boyfriend said the steak sub was pretty good. The inside of the restaurant was...interesting. It looks like a pizzeria with a few sombreros hung on the wall. Oh, also, we were sitting in there watching the little league World Series on the tv they had in the sitting area and one of their employees came out on their lunch break and just changed the channel without even asking if anyone was watching what was on. Isn't that tv there for the customers? And it was very clear that both of us were staring at the tv when the worker came out too (insert eye roll here). Overall it was an okay experience. Not great, not bad. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

Hubbs wanted a burrito on the way home; he wins! :-)

We recently stopped here on the way home from Niagara Falls. The hubbs had a hankering for one of their burritos. He works in the area sometime, so was familiar with Colosso Taco already, and said they were pretty good. If this were the hubbs review, he'd probably give them 4 Stars. But based on this first experience with Colosso, I'm more of a three. It was fine, nothing wrong with the service, or my burrito per say. The hubbs went in to order, and it was fast enough. He said it is very clean inside. No inside seating at the moment, just takeout, so be brought it out for us to eat in the car. I got a veggie burrito with refried beans. The beans were hot and creamy. The overall flavor was tasty enough, but not exceptional. My main qualm was for a $7 burrito at a place named "Colosso" it should be more colossal. It wasn't, just about the same size as a Mighty Taco burrito. I was expecting more of a Chipotle-sized burrito, which runs at about the same price-point. The veggie fillings were pretty skimpy, considering it was a veggie burrito. If they packed it with more lettuce, that right there could have amped up the size to more of a colossal portion. So overall, Colosso Taco was just okay for me. It was good enough that I'm not averse to trying it again, if I happen to be with my husband when he has another Colosso-hankering.

This was the first and last time I will ever come to this taco place…read more Nice start to review, don't you think? So we walk in it's not that bad of a looking place inside. They only except credit cards and debit cards, no cash. They are way over priced, and I do mean way over priced. $16 for my three little tacos, which were not even good ,sorry to say. $17 for my son's chicken quesadilla. I took a bite of it and now that was good, not worth $17 but it was good. He should gotten two quesadillas for that price. My other son and my other son's girlfriend both got the homestyle tacos and they looked OK and my son says that he thinks it was almost worth the $15 but still that is really a lot of money for those little normal size tacos. When your food is done, they call your name which you can't even hear it unless you're standing right by the cashier area. So you can't just go and sit down like I was doing, you have to stand right there and wait, which is kind of a pain in the butt ,cause you get in anybody's way who comes there to order some food. Most people are coming in and then leaving, I'm guessing due to the " card only" rule. It wasn't a real comfortable place to be in And like I said, my food was not very good and it was $16 which is pretty crazy for three little tacos. I don't know if the chicken was good or not. I'll find out in a little while. I'm sure. Lol. But no, I will not be returning there.

My other two diners had the Birri Tacos and the Queso (w/Chicken) Burrito. The Birri Taco was more like a chili cheese taco. The burrito did not have much taste. The salsa for the chips was not a traditional tomato salsa. It was over-puréed and had a lot of cumin (or curry!). I would recommend because the grits were very good but be aware of possible disappointments.

Service from the bartender was great. He offered up some suggestions, which I needed because they have a large menu loaded with so many appetizing and amazing looking options. I started with their potstickers... They came out with a hard, fried shell and the dipping sauce went nicely with them. Enough to share, or even enough to enjoy and still have room for an entrée. My main dish was their Chicken & Waffle. This isn't some ordinary chicken and waffle, it's definitely an amped up version, made with unique and interesting ingredients, culminating in great flavors! The chicken was so large and very tender - it was amazing! The bacon and sauce on top went with it nicely, and the chive waffle was great with it! Each bite was definitely amazing! This was a great experience, I can see why they have so many reviews and such high stars, those are well-deserved stars!! Definitely recommend stopping in here!

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which made it even more enjoyable. I ordered fried calamari along with single chicken wings tossed in an Asian sweet and spicy sauce--both dishes were flavorful and satisfying. The combination of crispy textures and bold flavors really stood out. What made the experience even better was the service. Our server was amazing--attentive, friendly, and truly great at her job. She made us feel welcome from the start. I always enjoy trying new places, and this visit did not disappoint. If you're looking for an American restaurant near Niagara Falls, this is definitely worth trying. We ended the meal with a delicious dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish to a great experience.
