Real good food, best service in town

The food was ok; somehow they burnt my rare steak. Service could use some work. I first sat at the bar and after 10 minute of no one coming to ask for an order, the bartender was annoyed when I asked for the drink menu. I decided to leave and sit at a table instead because I didn't want to feel like a bother. Probably one of the worst steaks we've ever had in Sand Springs, OK. We both ordered 12-oz ribeyes that were 8-oz at best and of course, were charged full price. They were very low quality steaks about 1/4" thick. We doubted they were even ribeyes. I couldn't eat half of mine because it was so tough and full of gristle. The blooming onion and salad were the best part of the meal. Service was less than par. Unfortunately, we won't be going back since there are many better steakhouses in the Tulsa area. read more

We walked in on a busy Friday night and was greeted by friendly waitresses/ hostesses. Surprisingly the wait wasn't all that long- maybe about 10 minutes and we got sat at a booth. We each ordered a mix drink for a change- probably wasn't the best idea. We ordered one Desert Mix which was an odd green color and was way too strong and had a weird taste. And ordered Mai Thai which was pretty good initially and then became way too syrupy. As an appetizer we got the blooming onion which was actually pretty great and I enjoyed that a lot: perfectly breaded. Then we ordered our entrees- two New York steaks cooked medium, two house salads, one baked potato, and one sweet potato fries. The steaks were pretty good (not the best I've ever had) but I did appreciate the server that brought us the food and had us cut into the steak to make sure it looked good. The house salad for me wasn't great, too much cheese, it was all iceberg lettuce. My sweet potatoes were pretty good too. Overall, nothing absolutely stood out to me but nothing was also all that horrible. Our bill was about $70 without the tip. Colton's in St. Robert is ALWAYS amazing. It's rare you find a restaurant that is consistently excellent service and great food but Colton's nails it every time. My favorites are the Fried Shrimp and the Loaded Chicken. Service is fast and friendly too. read more

Steaks weren't seasoned, mashed potatoes, fries, queso all cold when served. Wife's steak over done. 2nd time here. Wouldn't recommend.

I've come here three times in the last month to help put this into perspective. I have had different steaks on each visit and I find it absurd that I should have to season a steak when it's on my table. The service is great. I have had excellent servers each time. I visit a Steak House for the steak and I just can't seem to enjoy it here. Texas Roadhouse will be my go to versus this Steak House chain. read more

Ordered carry out tonight. Husband and I each got a 12oz ribeye. I ordered a loaded baked potato, which was delicious no complaints about that. However, our steaks, we requested medium rare, they were not even cooked and had no flavor at all, very disappointing! For the price I expected a more satisfying meal. read more

To all the families coming out to see their loved ones graduate. My family and I visited, as we used to once a month, and got charged extra (assuming for more of a tip) after we left an 18% cash tip. Called the establishment a few times, left my number, and could never get ahold of anyone to address the issue. The food was okay and the server was attentive. read more

We were in area for Son's graduation at MP School and looking for a fitting place to treat him to a Graduation dinner. Read Reviews on several Restaurants in the area looking for an awesome All-American Steak & Potato Feast. Coltons immediately jumped out and we read their Reviews. Hmmm, 3 stars and several "Pans" left us thinking; Naw. But, wanting the aforementioned Steak Feast we decided to go on and roll the dice. Firstly, there is an old proven & true Adage regarding Reviews for ANYWHERE one must remember; only 3 in 10 that have a good or great experience willtake the time to leave a GOOD Review but, 8-9 in 10 always take time to leave a Bomb.... MOST DEFINITELY applies to Coltons in St Robert MO. This place was AWESOME ALL AROUND! Atmosphere, Ambience, Menu, Staff, Service, and most of all The Chow. Kudos, Salute, & A+ All Around! I had the Del Rio Steak, Wife had the Ribeye & Shrimp, Son had the Dbl Bacon Cheeseburger. Again, Out-Freakin-Standing & PLENTY of it too! Waitress was perfect in her attention to us and our needs without being "overly present". Just Right. So, do yourselves a huge favor and don't pay attention to the dew "Bad Ones" (some ya can't please no matter what & even Superman has a bad day every now & then) and Give It a GO... The 1/2 pound hamburgers were cooked perfect - medium. Catfish was horrid being cut into strips and all breaded. It was edible but shocking looking like calamari. I should have asked how it was prepared. The upgraded salad with strawberries was incredible tasting and great value. We learned if you want hamburgers cooked right, go to a steakhouse. read more

Great food! Their steaks are always delicious, their rolls, their salads too! But my favorite thing is their fried pickles!! And bread pudding for dessert! Their employees are always friendly. For pick up orders, they'll bring it out to your car, super convenient with kids! Can be pricey, but it's one of the better restaurants in the area, worth it! I'd recommend paying with cash. Once we ordered, and supposedly didn't get charged until multiple months later... so it had us confused when we saw the random charge. But I will say they were quick to offer me a free meal for their inconvenience, so that was nice! read more

Ate here with our family (total 5). The service was okay. Waitress was just doing her time. Not super friendly but not rude. Just Blah. She took our drink order, a sweet tea, water, two apple juices and a fruit punch. After bringing out our drinks she served fresh hot bread to the table with butter and honey. My 3 yr old loved the bread, I thought it to be not very flavorful. It tasted like, unsalted dough. We ordered the onion bloom app and it was very very very greasy. When you saw the bottom of the bowl, there was easily over a cup of grease just sitting there at the bottom. For entrees, my husband ordered the chicken fried steak with white gravy, I got the strawberry and chicken salad, my kids got chicken strips and grilled chicken kids plates. My salad was okay. The chicken was over charred but once covered in dressing was eatable. My husband did not like his egg battered steak. It was not crunchy. It was mostly egg wash. He traded with my eldest for her grilled chicken which he liked. My daughter just ate his mashed potatoes and the steak inside the egg wash. My two youngest enjoyed their chicken tenders. They were piping hot and tasted good. All in all, we might go back to try something else or just try another steak house. We know not to get the chicken fried steak again, skip in the table bread and avoid the fried onion bloom. Service was okay. This was like the only steakhouse around. The rolls were super good!!!! I wish though it came with something other than butter and honey. I got the 9oz Sirloin, cooked medium, with French fries and Caesar salad. The salad had to much dressing and i had to eat the rolls to balance it out. When the steak came out, it was medium rare and a bit to fatty for my sirloin taste. But overall, it was decent. The price could of been cheaper! The service is where the third star is coming from. Not impressed. The free rolls were good, the salads were ok, but for a party of 11 we had many meals come out overdone. Mine was MR and came out completely well done with cold fries. Ended up leaving hungry and bought a sub instead. read more

The bad: The steak was overcooked and quite tough :( Accompanying side of mushrooms was tangy and sour, so if you don't like tangy mushrooms, don't order this. our seats had peanut shells on it so watch out if you're wearing shorts. read more

All I can say is WOW ! My Family and I went to the base and after we made a stop at Colton's, I- 44 was closed due to flooding so there were not many people around, so we went in and found the place with only a few people inside, well the two ladies that were waiting said that " no one showed up except for the owner and a buss person", well in fact it was true and let me tell you this owner was doing it ALL! he was seating people,taking there order, getting there drinks and he was cooking as well, but he did a GREAT! job. right after we were seated he had a about twenty more people come in and he was taking care of all of us, our order was correct not one thing was wrong! the food was great as well. Great place to grab some lunch or dinner. Steaks are cooked beautifully, fairly reasonably priced. Food quality is great. Only downside is with it being close to base it's usually one of the busiest places in town so it can take a while to get a table or for your server to get to you. Came here before a PT test and man it did wonders! I ordered every course. The steak was cooked perfectly. The cheese curds were yummy. And I got the brownie dessert to top it all off. I can't wait to go back. I may have to make it a tradition before a PT test. read more

We were recently in the area at the military post and was really disappointed in the food. We ordered steaks, because after all, you would think that was the one thing they could do right. Wrong!! The steaks were like eating leather and gristle, and very expensive for the size. Now we understand that businesses are being challenged by inflation, but you should not serve something that the dogs won't eat (took home doggie bag). We will not go again. read more

Husband and I visited twice in as many weeks taking a granddaughter back to Fort Leonard Wood after holiday break, second visit when we returned for her graduation. Each time, we were seated quickly, order taken within minutes. Rolls, water, and salads were delivered quickly. Steak and potato was delivered almost too soon, and I know that doesn't seem like anything to complain about, but I want to enjoy my salad. We ordered the 12 oz steak and split it between the two of us. It was tender and cooked to perfection. Each time, it was more food than we could possibly eat. First visit, granddaughter and friend ordered the 6 oz sirloin with fries and green beans. Second visit, my daughter and son in law also ordered the 6 oz sirloin dinner, second granddaughter ordered children's meal chicken tenders and grandson ordered mac & cheese. All food was hot, fresh, perfectly cooked and very tasty. The restaurant was clean and comfortable each time. We highly recommend this restaurant. If by some chance you have a negative experience, please take it to management. I was told by someone I met on base that the manager is very hands-on and works hard to make the restaurant everything we found. read more

Crappy service, almost all the food was wrong, barmaid is rude as hell, and when we got the food well most of it... it was ok at best... still waiting on sides and rolls and we are paying....
